We are down a Thalen this week but continue chipping away at our massive backlog of discussion topics after taking two weeks off due to holiday and illness.  We start off with some talk about Dwarven Realms Season 5 and how it allows you to get all the loot without gating your access.  From there, we talk about Star Citizen and how it has mostly kept all of its promises during the 2025 release schedule.  Most of us have been playing Guild Wars Reforged, and we talk a bit about how much better the game looks and what we are playing.  Grace discusses a Vampire-Survivors-like that has building sim functionality in the very long-named Monsters Are Coming! An old piece of games industry lore has recently reemerged, and it has people wondering about a tantalizing what-if. Back in 1999, The Matrix hit theaters, and the co-creators of the film happened to have been huge fans of Hideo Kojima, himself a year removed from the launch of Metal Gear Solid. And, as was reported at the time, there was potential that Konami would allow Kojima to pursue a licensed Matrix game post-MGS. A lot of new information has since emerged about what did and didn't happen here, and it makes for a great conversation starter. So let's lean into it, shall we? Cette semaine, on commence par retrouver Kyle Crane, le héros du tout premier Dying Light, après une décennie d'enfermement. Forcément, il n'est pas content. Dans Dying Light : The Beast, on quitte l'univers très urbain de Dying Light 2 pour un cadre montagnard plus bucolique. Et les zombies se marient très bien au décor carte postale. On continue avec la grande randonnée de Nate, le héros de Baby Steps. En nous imposant de devoir réapprendre à marcher, les créateurs, Bennett Foddy, Gabe Cuzzillo et Maxi Boch, jouent avec nos nerfs. On s'y attendait, mais ce n'est pas moins douloureux pour autant.
