We're back with another episode, and I'm so honored to have the one and only Kofi Frempong. Having Kofi on the podcast was fantastic, and his story on becoming an artist, which stems into a deep backstory on his origins, drawing in France, the self-doubt during his academic tenure, and growing out of his shell to tap into his accidental genius as he puts it, it feels if I was watching a documentary unfold right in front of me. Furthermore, Kofi shares his principles, and the inspiration for sharing his pieces through galleries, exhibits, and auctions is based on how much he loves people and wants to connect and hear their experiences. He takes this even further and elevates it where, in the literal sense, he paints their narrative on a canvas that describes many emotions. In addition, we played Taboo on The Safe Room, and you knew I had to come ready. Follow him immediately if you want to go check those out on Kofi's Instagram! Overall, this was an excellent conversation on a special occasion because this was the same day of the Meet The Youth 2022 event I got to MC and moderated when recording. Don't worry; that follow-up will be coming soon, but for now, enjoy this fascinating talk with my guest Kofi Frempong. You can support and follow Kofi's work on Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and Facebook: @kofis_art Make sure to check out his website: kofifrempong.com Listen to the official soundtrack to The Safe Room Podcast "First Lady" by yours truly.
