Our next guest TAA TUU SWÉ moves fluidly between eras, blending the pulse of house music with a genre-fluid approach as a DJ, producer, and local radio host. Playing RVA venues since 2012, he has recently played the Movement Festival Pre-Party at LOSO and hosted his WavvyWednesdays pop-up at CNTR. TAA TUU also hosts biweekly show, HOUSE OF SWÉ, on WRIR Richmond. His sound has been described as “ethereal,” “energetic,” “retro,” “futuristic,” and “multicultural, but very black.” SWÉ aims to preserve house music history and uplift underground Black talent of today and yesterday. He continues playing shows across Richmond while developing his own music productions for future release.
