Titus has the difficult task of finding leaders, elders, for the churches on the island of Crete. The people of Crete are described as “liars, cruel animals, and lazy gluttons.” However, for those who had died to their old selves and are filled with the Holy Spirit, they have crucified that old man and have become a new creation in Christ, are those whose hearts the Father prunes and they produce good fruit. They will be easy top spot because they will look like Jesus! Paul says these people who claim to know God but do not look like Him are worthless and good for nothing. I want to be valuable for the kingdom of God, used by Him to bring glory to His name!

It began on a playground in the 1990s — a simple act of kindness that would open the door to something dark. A young girl was handed a small silver crucifix by a boy she barely knew. “You should have this,” he said. Her mother, puzzled, kept it safe at home — until the day it seemed to move on its own, lodging itself beneath a heavy dresser as if pulled by invisible hands. Years later, she found it again while vacuuming — only to watch it vanish before her eyes. Priests warned her that some objects carry curses, relics of unknown pain or intent. But that was only the beginning. Here’s the scoop from this powerful episode of The Patrick Madrid Show. Patrick gives you a message a lot of us need to hear, even if it stings a little. Meet Delia Delia calls in from L.A.; she’s been living with her boyfriend for over 10 years.They have a child together; he’s helped raise her other kids, but… they’re not married.She’s Catholic, goes to Mass, and she doesn’t receive Communion because she knows something’s not right. Her big question: “Should I go to confession even though I’m still living this way?” Patrick’s Loving (but direct!) Wake-Up Call Patrick’s response was compassionate but crystal clear: "Yes, you need confession... but confession only works if you’re ready to repent." (i.e., change your life). Right now, Delia is living in a state of mortal sin. Why Moving Out Matters Patrick explains: Jesus calls us to radical decisions: “If your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out.”Translation: Cut off anything dragging you away from God. So, What Should Delia Do? Here's Patrick's advice: Pray for courage.Get on your knees before the crucifix and beg Jesus for help. Patrick recommends the "Prayer Before a Crucifix" on the Relevant Radio app. Make the hard break.You don’t have to hate him or abandon him as the father of your child, but you can’t live as husband and wife when you’re not. Then go to confession.But only after you’re ready to leave the sinful situation. Why This Matters Patrick leaves her with this stunning line:“You’re a daughter of the King. You’re royalty. But you’re living in the worst kind of peasant squalor.” Delia (and all of us in sinful situations) are made for more.God isn’t trying to ruin our fun; He’s calling us to freedom, peace, and true love. Real Talk Takeaway: If you’re stuck in a sinful situation and wondering, “Can’t I just go to confession and keep doing this?” ... the hard truth is: NO.Confession without repentance is like trying to shower in a mud pit. Here’s the good news from Patrick:"You’re one good confession away from becoming a saint." Final encouragement from Patrick:Ask Jesus for help. Put first the Kingdom of God, and everything else will be added unto you. (Matthew 6:33)

Today, we explored the profound reality of Christ's sacrifice and what it means for our spiritual lives during these sacred days.At the heart of our meditation lies a stunning theological truth from St. John Vianney: "Our Lord suffered more than was necessary to redeem us, but what would have satisfied the justice of His Father would not have satisfied His love." The blood shed at Christ's circumcision alone would have been sufficient for mankind's redemption—each drop of divine blood carrying infinite redemptive power. Yet Christ chose the full suffering of the Cross not from necessity but from superabundant love. This revelation transforms how we understand the Passion and our own participation in it through Lenten practices.Drawing from Scripture, particularly Hebrews 9:12, we see how Christ fulfilled and transcended the Old Testament sacrifices. The high priest's annual blood offering foreshadowed Jesus becoming both priest and victim, offering His own blood for our salvation.
