If you've been to a service in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (otherwise known as the Mormon Church), you may have noticed that there is lots of talk about the Spirit and gifts of the Spirit. But what is a gift of the spirit? And how do I know if I have one? And what do I do when I realize I have such a gift?? We believe that all people can have gifts of the spirit. While we may not realize our gifts until later in life, we believe that all people have the potential to attain and act on such gifts. In this episode, we talk about many different gifts of the spirit, the gifts that the hosts have, and what to do when you feel you have such a gift. We're SO grateful that God is active in the lives of His children (all of us) and that he has given us gifts to grow and improve. Was there a rock bottom for you? Tell us this story. How do you make sure you actually take action when you learn new things? What would you say to someone who said they aren't creative at all? How do you come up with the lyrics and music you sing? "Perfection is the lowest standard possible." via Tony Robbins Some AHA! Moments in this episode... The importance of taking time to discover your creativity. How asking for feedback outside your friendship/peer group could be the best thing for your work. The power of affirmations and meditation. How the world has conditioned us to lead us away from our true essence.  The thoughts that are happening in our mind don't define us. How have live events and taking your business offline helped you grow? What's something totally random that only you would know about Disney World?  What mindset lessons have you learnt throughout your entrepreneurial journey? What is the most amazing thing that's happened along your journey?  "We are living in an amazing time... where ANYTHING is possible." Some AHA!! Moments in this episode... How your 'what ifs?' can be your biggest motivator. Why creating a positive mindset is the best thing you can do as an entrepreneur. We're SO excited about today's guest. We met him at TTT this year, got to hang out on boats and have a heck of a lot of fun. Kevin Basham is an entrepreneur who's co-founded a 7 figure recycling business from the ground up. He managed to do this with no money, little experience and making lots of mistakes along the way. Growing up he had little confidence; no idea that all this was possible. His vision is to help the next generation of up and coming entrepreneurs and business leaders, to share his story so others can see anything really is possible. It is our pleasure to welcome our very good friend Kevin Basham to #MerryBiz! Some questions we ask..... How did it all began for you? And how you ended up doing, what you're doing now? How did bullying impact you? What do you think is the biggest lesson you've learned throughout your entire journey? What's it like to find your passion?    "When you want to succeed as bad as you want to breathe, then you'll be successful." (via Eric Thomas)   Some AHA!! Moments in this episodes.... Sometimes you need someone to give you the confidence to be who you are. You cannot chase things that you don't think are possible. Start believing.  Entrepreneurship is for all but it's not for everybody. Everybody should have the opportunity go on an entrepreneurial journey. Some people just don't have the confidence, the 'right' background or they've gone through something dark. I want to help these people.    "Motivation can come from that really really dark place."
