Life in the Peloton is proudly brought to you by MAAP Guys, the Giro is underway and that can only mean one thing; it's time for me to wheel out that classic old LITP story of the time I rode the Team Time Trial at the 2014 Giro with the Greenedge boys and we only went and bloody won it!...What do you mean I bring it up every year? Seriously, though, this is one of my favourite episodes we've ever made. I know some of you will have heard it before when it was first released during lockdown, but there's a lot of new listeners in the Pelo now who may not have heard me catching up with Orica Greenedge's ‘Class Of ‘14' Giro squad who took the win in the opening TTT in Belfast at the 2014 Giro d'Italia. This is a monster ep, with amazing stories from Svein ‘Sveino' Tuft, ‘Cam-a-carzi' Meyer, Michael ‘Bling' Matthews, Michael ‘Heppy' Hepburn, Pieter ‘Weendog' Weening, Brett ‘Burt' Lancaster, Matt ‘Whitey' White, and - of course - my old mate Luke ‘Durbo' Durbridge. What a line up?! I absolutely loved relistening to this, and reliving the memories from over 10 years ago. This was one of my best days on the bike, surrounded by an amazing group of guys who I'm still good mates with today. It's the first rest day of the 2025 Giro today, so this should keep you excited before the racing kicks off again in Italy tomorrow. Sit back, relax, and enjoy; I hope you love it. Cheers, Mitch

We then turn to tax policy, where Joe gives his bull case for the massive tax and spending bill and how it will scale numerous hurdles to get to the President's desk.

Welcome back to another episode of Turn Your Head and Goff! This week we cover many topics. Including our holiday plans and how to make the perfect mashed potatoes, all in an effort not to start talking about the Rams performance against the Dolphins. In the news, Rams cut a player, Tyler Higbee is just "weeks" away from returning, Stan has decided to start a "Go Green" competition with all of the sports teams he owns and finally Rams fan of the year is announced, we are not impressed and give him no credit.TTT thinks the division is lost already, even thought the Rams are only 1.5 games behind. We then break down the big blunder on Monday Night Football against the Dolphins. Basically we spent about 40 minutes just destroying the offense and ask a few critical questions:Why would you start three new offensive linemen in the same game? Why would coach say after the game that the offensive line needs the most consistency, yet he made the call to change 60% of the line. Why do the Rams pass so much? Why do the Rams not run the ball enough? Why can the Rams not score in the red zone? You know all the things that have been bubbling up during this season as the Rams have scored 30 or more points only once thus far. The defense played good. We then change focus to the Patriots on Sunday in what is now a must win game for the Rams.Be part of the conversation and follow Turn Your Head & Goff:Social Links:InstagramFacebookTwitter
