Hey everyone, today I am coming to you to give an announcement and update on the podcast moving forward. I have been speaking with many millennials and post millennials about their lives and what they are struggling with so I decided to do something to help. Many people right now just graduated from high school and are not sure of what they should do. Should I go to college? and if so, what should I study? Many are having this questions. Can we really expect 17 and 18 year old students do make a commitment on a career at such a young age? Most are not sure what their interests and skillsets are. Also many millennials are currently miserable at their jobs and they cannot see a way out. So they jump from shiny object to shiny object. My goal with the upcoming episodes of the podcast will be to interview professionals from different industries and occupations with the goal to experience what a day in their life looks life. What are their frustrations with their job? Common misconceptions many have of the industry? What type of personality and character aspects work best for the job? Is it for everyone? I believe that it is my duty to be a resource to my generation and I want to help you choose a path that makes sense for you, so that you may grow and be fulfilled in your endeavors.
On this episode I sit with Matthew Abikenari, a Recent Graduate of UCLA class of 2020, with a pre-medical emphasis. Matthew is Currently studying for the MCAT, and staying up to date with the apparent deficiencies of our culture. We go over several different deficiencies in our generation and culture. From parents pressuring their children to live a life that "they never got to live" to morality and the importance of the discussion of this topics between people in our age group. This year has been filled with chaos and the first tendency is for us to be hopeless and think things will only go downhill from here. However, that does not have to be our reality. This year should we a wake up call for all of us to realize that there are very important tasks and responsibilities we need to work on. Only after realizing that there is a problem we can start working on finding a solution. Matthew and I give some of our personal advices on what an individual in our generation can do to start pursuing a path of character development. On This episode I sit down with Greg Murray, founder of a production company, music producer, and model. We have an amazing conversation about work. Work is challenging in many ways, a lot of times we feel like our efforts do not really seem to produce results at all or at least not what we expected. Many times we will be able to envision and dream something and the results we get from pursuing that dream or goal may be completely different then our vision. However, work is something God had always intended for us individuals to do. It is through our work that we figure out more about ourselves and the world. We learn perseverance, patience and that brings meaning into our lives. If we have a perspective of work as being something we do just to get by and pay the bills we will always feel like we are walking against the wind and doing something that we were never supposed to be doing in the first place. When we shift our perspective and start to understand that work will be frustrating at times, that we will experience lots of uncertainty and that sometimes things will not go as planned. At the same time through all this burdens we become more responsible of our lives and our work. We pass to see work as a way to serve other humans and our communities. Through our work we can create an impact but every endeavor will have costs involved and we should always be aware of thatLinks from the show:Greg's Instagram https://www.instagram.com/gregomurray/Greg's Website https://hmncrtv.com/Book “Every Good Endeavor” https://amzn.to/37e5ShyDaily Journal https://amzn.to/2QyNEA4Message me!Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/pedrombgoes/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/pedro.goes.7If you appreciate this content, please give us a rating and review on Apple Podcasts.

We also discuss how important it is to associate with people that are willing to tell you the truth and give you constructive criticism and the results it can bring into our lives. It is very important for us to be aware on the things and people that influence our lives. We need to be aware on what we allow to come into our minds for that will shape how we behave. In today’s episode with Grant Beaudry, host of the Dig In Dirt podcast and graphic designer. We have such a powerful conversation on struggles and as the title says dreams that sometimes do not come into fruition. Living at chaotic times like now can feel overwhelming and hopeless but Grant digs deep into how we can change our perspective and look at things that are still in our control to do.
