Specific strategies include using "coffeehouse chatter" to increase student focus, therapeutic breathing techniques to reduce anxiety, and story therapy to get kids to believe in themselves! He shares how small wins can help children and references an article. Mike includes a resource for using both coffee talk and therapeutic breathing. He concludes with the power of story therapy, and ideas on how to implement it right in the classroom.
