Calvary Baptist Church

The church was experiencing opposition and they were holding fast to the Lord's Name. However, there were two stains in the church, they had compromised with the doctrines of Balaam and Nicolaiitans.

The theme of the song is praise the Lord. Praise Him for who He is and what He has done.

This is the first time that Elijah has appeared in Scripture. lElijah means Jehovah is my God. God in his mercy and love for the nation of Israel sends Elijah to Ahab. A drought would emphasize that God is the God who controls the rain and He closed heaven because of disobedience and to get the attention of Israel.

There are good and bad types of compromise. Bad types of compromise are giving up on core beliefs and values. Consensus is putting away or giving up everything you believe. Jesus is coming with the sword of salvation and and of judgment. Only what God thinks matters.

We are commanded to obey and proclaim God's Words so don't let anybody talk you out of obeying God's word completely. Obedience matters to God.

The pastor is to rule well. The elders as leaders of the church are to govern and give oversight to the church. Obey, submit, and follow the lpastor and elders of the church. The should be a difference in the Christian in how they take care of the pastor and people and even their animals.

Paul and Barnabus are spiritual medal of honor men, soldiers running into the spiritual battle that has real physical consequences. They are true heroes of The Faith. Paul told the people to turn to the One True Living God.

The joy of the disciples seeing God's work expand during intense difficulty is the key to the church's expansion. God blesses when God's people get on board with God's plan by using their gifts and abilities The greatest battle we face as believers is the battle of the mind.

There are similarities of the churches in Revelation and they were not much different than churches today. All churches are filled with believers who are listening to the voice of Jesus who speaks to each one in attendance. He is the authority over all churches.

God has a plan for your life and His will for you is to have a personal relationship with him. How are you responding to God's call on your life?

Elijah was a servant of Lord and followed the word of the Lord. He had boldness because he was a servant of the Lord and He had done "all these things."

The Lord Jesus will be coming with the clouds of heaven to the Ancient of Days. If you are suffering-take hope-Jesus is coming!

God pronounced a curse on the city of Jericho. It is the oldest city of the world and today is located on the West Bank in a Palestinian area. The Dead Sea Scrolls and personal documents were found in caves at Qumran.

Go out and live what God tells you to do. You have to hear the word in order to do it. Invest your time in God and His Word and you will be living in the blessings He gives.

The book of Revelation is about Jesus The Greek word Apocalypse means to uncover something.There is a blessing to those for reading, hearing and obeying the book of Revelation.

God is revealing future plans that will be brought because of His anger and fury over what the people had done. He chastens those who He loves. God will bring His kingdom to this earth and His Son will rule in righteousness.

God is passionate and jealous towards humanity because He knows there is a threat against people to steal our hearts away from God to idols. Keep your heart and soul protected from evil.

God wants us to call out to Him and He will answer. How do we hear His voice? it is thought his word.

There is a theological and moral decline in our world and God has given us the answer, it is the word of God. A void exists in our society because of the absence of God and His standard.

Prophets in the Old Testament were asked to do some strange things. Jeremiah suffered for doing what God told him to do, it takes courage to the right thing. Trust the Lord and his word when it doesn't even make sense.

God has a plan to dwell with His people, Israel, in their land through a New Covenant which happens in the distant future. God intended the New Covenant blessings to be enjoyed by more that just Israel.

God is ever present and He is our protection.and provision. No threat can overpower us when we follow the plans and will of God. He is the one who is in control of all history and He is there for us to call upon when we need him.

God Almighty nourishes and pours His life into His Children. He is the bountiful giver, pouring out blessings to His owm.

God reveals how he will restore the nation of Israel. God is a God of second chances and all of Israel will be cleansed of their sin and be healed.

We serve the God of the living not a God of the dead. The title Olam means the far distant horizon (past or future) or beyond what we can see or comprehend. God has always existed.

There will be a time of trouble in the life of Israel that there will be such severe pain as in child birth. Salvation and then the restoration will follow this time of trouble.

The Lord had allowed, by his mercy for the people to return to the promised land. This restoration back to their land led them to a joyful response and then sought to pray for the lost of the captivity.

The Lord is our great physician and he has come to heal those who are sick. We have a sin sickness and need to be healed.

Patience is endurance and Jesus endured the cross for us. Don't give in, don't give up, endure by the grace of God. Godliness is never measured by standards but is always measured by our Savior.

Giving all diligence is giving maximum effort to the key areas of our lives so we are living authentic Christian lifves?

These promises are great and precious because they come from a Holy God who keeps his word to believers. Every promise is guaranteed to be true.

This world is in desperate need of believers who are living authentic lives. Our common bond is our common faith and our common Savior the Lord Jesus. There are no second or third class Christians we all have the same standing before the Lord..

If you are not being obedient you are not loving God. Are you paying attention and obeying the wisdom Lord Jesus has for you?

God gives Jeremiah the words he is to write about a promise that He will restore his people to the land permanently.
