We all come to Jesus the same way by coming to the cross. Don't ever lose sight of the weight of the cross.

What is it that you can do for your church and how can you show your love to your local New Testament Church.

If you know Jesus as Savior you have heaven to look forward to but sometimes distractions get in the way of your focus. Keep your eyes on Jesus and don't quit.

God has directed distinctive roles for women in the church and the home.

There was a divine encounter on the road to Emmaus and one of the men was unnamed. The Gospel of Luke is full of unnamed characters and it tells us that they are all important to Jesus.

This is a story about God's long-suffering for Jacob and how He wanted Jacob to come to the end of himself. God loves His children so much that sometimes He has to hurt them. Blessing comes to those who hold on tight to God.

Why did the Lord choose a cross to symbolize our faith? The purpose of the cross was suffering and sacrifice. The pain of the cross was physical agony. The power of the cross was to kill. The people on the cross, in the middle was the Savior, the Son of God and two thieves on either side..

Some principles for fruit bearing are: the producing principle; the purifying principle; the purging principle. God always has a purpose and a plan.

There is more to this life than what we see, a physical realm and a spiritual realm and God sees and protects His own.

Jesus knows that there is a betrayer at the table of the Last Supper and He knows the very heart of the betrayer and yet He still loves him. We all have a choice to choose to follow or reject Jesus. Great people to God are those who see themselves as servants. God does not share His glory with anyone.

As God has protected Jacob He also protects those that are His from the evil that surrounds them. Why does God protect some and not others? God is good in the times of protection and when there isn't protection from suffering.

Justification is when God declares us to be righteous. Sanctification is the process over time where we begin to live out what we are as justified persons. This is what God wants for our lives.

God wants us to have an understanding and anticipation of the future pictured in heaven seen in these verses. God is worthy and if you will follow His way you will be the best that you can be.
