She believes that the joy of being a worship leader is to make those listening, jealous for what has been found in Christ. Making Christ famous through the art, act and physical sound of our worship is Rita's anthem and her deepest desire is to see this arise in the body of Christ. Her motto is; “To make the Lord famous in whatever I do with my worship and relationship with Him”. Born out of that deep desire and to see women free through the tools of the Word, Worship and Prayer, she started her own women's conference in 2000 called ‘Fragrant Oil' it was an incredible season of 7 years watching God use worship powerfully to transform lives across the globe. In 2008 she began a worship school called DIVE. (Deep - Innovative - Vertical - Expression) The School trains and encourages upcoming worship leaders all over the world with weeklong intensive one-on-one courses. Staying true to her calling, Rita continues to write new songs and leads worship at churches, conferences and events around the country. You can come up with many reasons why couples get divorced, but today Ryan and Kayla talk about how to make a marriage last. When two individuals intentionally choose to make Christ the center of their lives and strive to be more Christ-like, your marriage relationship will improve. While dating, you should intentionally date someone who desires to glorify God and align their will with the Lord's will. Someone who seeks to please God will treat their spouse with love and respect and will desire their partner's happiness and joy over their own. Have questions? Our conversation this week is about “Making Christ real in the home.” As Orthodox Christians this is an important question: How do we make Christ real in our homes? It is so easy to just become Sunday Christians where, Christianity becomes to some people at least, something that they do on Sunday only. What about the rest of the week? Their ways, attitudes, language and behavior may be far away from Christianity completely. How then do we make Christ a central part of everyday family life? Tune into our conversation to learn more about this important subject.
In this episode, we are pleased to welcome a guest from the Missionary Training Center as we discuss the 'how' of Harvesting The Lord's Way.
In this episode, I'm joined by Matthew Robinson, Director of Media Gratiae. Matt and his team produce high-quality Christian documentaries, and their latest project Puritan: All of Life to the Glory of God is a beautifully done exploration of what it looked like when the Puritans began pressing Reformations principles into every aspect of life. Matt and I talk about drawing inspiration from Christians of the past to understand how we might live lives that glorify God today, how he goes from big-picture creative ideas to finished film, and how a desire to make Christ known is the driving force between Christian creativity.
