In this episode of Lift Up, we feature an insightful keynote speech delivered by LSI's Sam Beasley at the 2026 Hill Industry Partner Exchange. Drawing from LSI's extensive logistics work with complex organizations like CAL FIRE, Sam breaks down the hidden reasons why business partnerships fail and how to build alliances that actually last. Skip the performative "communication theater" and discover why true organizational trust is a byproduct of clear structure, how mismatched financial goals can quietly ruin a deal, and what it takes to future-proof your partnerships against sudden market disruptions.

Our Chief Operations Officer, Sam Beasley, talks us through the differences between activity and progress, and how to tell if there's real movement or just motion. His experiences give him a unique perspective on how to make sure teams are spending their time on what matters the most.
The temple sure was beautiful. Nothing inspires hope for the future like the majesty of a 40-acre complex built with stones each weighing hundreds of tons. Their white marble and gold adornments shone in the sun, high on the hill, visible for miles and miles. But Jesus said it was all coming down. As you look to the future, what gives you hope? Is your heart weighed down with the anxieties of life? In the final days before the cross, Jesus knows what's coming for his disciples. There will be trouble ahead, but there is a present reality that can make even the most fearful of disciples stand tall and endure.
A gate is not just a physical structure. It is a spiritual checkpoint,a place where progress is eitherpermitted or resisted.

We celebrate a Savior who walks straight into troubled places with peace, authority, and love. When Jesus rode into Jerusalem, the city was filled with tension, fear, and uncertainty—yet He came anyway. Not on a war horse, but on a donkey… a symbol of peace. In a world shaken by political division, rising costs, global conflict, and the unknowns of tomorrow, Palm Sunday whispers this truth: Your King still comes to you. He comes with peace, not panic. With strength, not fear. With a kingdom that cannot be shaken. So today, lay down your worries like they laid down their cloaks. Lift up your hope like they lifted their palms. And trust that the same Jesus who faced His darkest week will carry you through yours. Hosanna—Lord, save us now… and He will.
In Psalm 30:5, sorrow is viewed as an overnight guest, but the next morning joy moves in to stay.

“Send Coach John a message”I found a memory that popped up in my social media feed from a year ago. I posted this quote: “We rise by lifting each other, not tearing people down.” I needed this reminder and I know others do too… in fact the entire world does. I've had a few comments on the post and it got me thinking about a few things. One is for sure that when you look at the history of our country (the USA), good things happen when we follow this thought! We are inspired to build, invent, create, work together, etc. Theresa, who is a former student of mine, had some thoughts as to how difficult this can be when dealing with someone who does the opposite of this. It got me thinking about a few things. First I think if we keep being the example of lifting up others (with our words and actions), other people notice - maybe even the negative person. I learned that depending on how well you know the person or are connected to this person, you can actually lift them up when they are in trouble. Life offers countless opportunities for this as we all stumble, fall, have setbacks, struggle, etc. This former student of mine, who is one like so many of them, a “teacher” of mine - as she got me remembering when there were a few times of me taking the low road and attacking the other person. Thinking back to those couple of times, I remember feeling horrible about it because that was not who I wanted to be. It caused me plenty of troubles for sure. I've learned to always strive for taking the high road. Theresa helped me see this. It all reminds me of this quote - “be the example the world needs to see.” We need more of this for sure! Do you use God to lift you up or does He use you to lift Him up?
Being assertive doesn't mean being pushy, aggressive, or domineering - but many corporate environments only show you that one style of leadership. In this episode, I teach you the two opposing styles of assertiveness: Pushing Down vs. Lifting Up. One erodes trust and damages your reputation over time. The other builds respect, inspires teams, and gets people to genuinely want to follow your lead - this is what I'm teaching you to do. You'll learn: Why "assertive" doesn't have to mean "aggressive" The Push Down vs. Lift Up framework for assertive leadership Why the aggressive style backfires (even for geniuses like Steve Jobs) 3 practical tactics to be assertive in a way that lifts others up How to inspire buy-in without forcing your ideas on people Why this style of assertiveness feels better for you AND your stakeholders Links: Free Assertiveness ebook: https://www.assertivenessebook.com/ Art of Speaking Up Academy waitlist: https://jessguzikcoaching.com/academy/

This week on Ministry Minute, we delve deeper into our 6-part series on the Armor of God. Today's message, entitled “Lift Up Your Faith!” centers around the fourth piece of the Armor of God: The Shield of Faith. We discuss how faith serves as a defensive mechanism to block the enemy's attacks, and we encourage you to lift up your faith even in the midst of adversity, trials, and difficult circumstances, knowing that, no weapon formed against us shall prosper. #JesusLovesYou #Faith #MinistryMinuteLift Up Your Faith! | The Armor of God, Part 4 | Ministry Minute EP302Romans 10:9:That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. We all have sinned, we all have made mistakes, but in spite of our imperfections, a perfect God sent His Perfect Son to die for those very imperfect sins, so we can have eternal life. THAT'S REAL LOVE. THAT'S JESUS' LOVE. In order to receive this forgiveness you must confess and repent of your sins and accept Jesus Christ into your heart which you can do by saying this prayer wholeheartedly:Dear God,I confess and admit that I am a sinner, and I ask that You please forgive me and save me. I renounce and repent of all my sins, iniquities, and transgressions. I confess that Jesus, You are LORD, and I believe with all my heart that You died and rose again. I put my complete faith in Your finished works on the cross and I believe because of Your Blood that was shed, my sins can be forgiven. I ask that You be the Head of my life and the LORD of my life from this day forward, and I ask that You please help me to live for You all the days of my life.In Jesus Name I Pray,Amen.I'm Saved, What's Next:- Be Baptized In Jesus Name- Be Filled With The Holy Ghost- Live A Holy LifeJesus Is Soon To Return— BE READY!!#Christianity #Christian #Jesus #Bible #God #Faith #JesusChrist #Church #love #Bibleverse #Gospel #prayer #HolySpirit #Godisgood #pray #biblestudy #Scripture #hope #truth #religion #JesusLovesYou #worship #grace #JesusSaves #amen #blessed #Christianlivinghttps://www.joshuahopkinsstudios.com/productions/ministryminute

Others, though they lie ready to die, yet they are busying themselves about their outward affairs, as though they should certainly live here, even to live and enjoy the same for ever. The sword of the Spirit is identified as the Word of God. It is an offensive weapon in spiritual warfare. Jesus was triumphant over the enemy with the Word during the 40 days and nights of temptation in the wilderness.
