Hello lovelies! We're back after a few weeks away, and we are talking about all the camera and lens announcements! So, we've had a lot going on lately from Tisha starting a new part time job to her son flying in for a 6 week visit before he ships off to Navy boot camp, and just life in general. Now we're back and tonight we are talking about camera and lens announcements, mainly Canon & Fuji. What announcements are you most excited about? Let us know on Instagram and/or Twitter! Welcome back to the podcast! This week we talk about Marvel movies and how Tisha thinks there have been enough and Brandon is kind of on the fence. That spins off to a discussion on movie empires and TV shows that just need to call it quits already. So what say you... do you think Marvel or Star Wars or any other such movie series should call it quits, or will you never get enough? Let us know on our Instagram and/or Twitter! Hello & Welcome to this week's episode! It's been a rough almost 2 years with COVID and no travel, and Tisha is feeling effects of being in a creative rut with both her writing & her photography. So much so, she's even considered selling off her camera gear, but we all know that won't happen. We think it's time for a creative retreat or workshop, but want to wait it out a bit longer before we make travel plans. Do you have any suggestions for retreats or workshops around the world that you've attended or would like to attend? If so, leave a comment on this post on Twitter or Instagram! Hello & Welcome Back to the Podcast! This week Tisha explains why she returned the Sony a6400 and has given up the search, for now, for the best travel camera for her. We also talk about new projects, new and old TV shows, the documentaries Seaspiracy & Cowspiracy on Netflix, and trying to transition to vegetarian and then maybe vegan one day. What are your favourite Vegetarian and Vegan recipes? Let us know on Twitter & Instagram! Our Instagram Tisha's Twitter Brandon's Twitter www.tishaandbrandon.com
Hello & welcome back to the podcast! After a week off and a trip to Ottawa to see family, we're back and ready to talk about Tisha's purchase of the Sony a6400 as her travel camera, and why she passed on the Canon RP. We also delve into (our opinion) about how photography generally isn't embraced as an art form by people who aren't themselves photographers. Because generalizations make for interesting conversations, right? To leave a comment and continue the conversation, make sure you're following us on Twitter & Instagram! This week We test out Zoom recording for podcast interviews! All the audio for this podcast was recorded on Zoom this week, instead of our usual GarageBand. We're planning some interviews for future podcasts, so we thought, why not give a try this week? We think it turned out quite well, but let us know in the comments below (on Twitter) what you think. Also, let us know who you'd like to hear us interview! And lastly, what streaming services do you use for TV. Movie, Music? This week's podcast is all about Brandon's favourite genre, Street Photography. Tisha interviews Brandon about what drew him to street photography and some of the aspects he most likes about it. We dive into who his favourite street photographers are and what cities are on his bucket list to shoot. Make sure to follow us on Twitter for photography and more! Tisha's Twitter Brandon's Twitter
This week we played a game called Mispronunciations or Regional Dialect. Tisha came up with 10 commonly mispronounced words, put them on flash cards, and had Brandon pronounce them to see if he got it correct. This, of course, was brought on by a listener last week saying Tisha mispronounced the word vehicle. Anyway... come play along with us and feel free to drop us a comment to let us know which commonly mispronounced words you hear most often. Don't forget to follow us on Twitter! Hello & Welcome back! We took a few weeks off, because we can, and now we're back and ready to get the podcast back on track. This week we get you caught up, and talk about the issues Tisha is having with her 7 year old vehicle, and shopping for a vehicle, with all the different options such as EV, ICE, and Hybrid.
Hello and welcome back to the podcast! This week Brandon and I talk about his old man (he's not really old) ways and how certain things can really set off his inner Get Off My Lawnisms. It's a fun episode of us telling you about a few things that bug us. Who doesn't like a good natured rant, eh? We also talk about how our Instagram break is going. Spoiler alert, Instagram who?
Hello & welcome back to Tisha & Brandon's Podcast! We took a few weeks break, not intentionally, but it turned out it was necessary for our sanity. Now we're back and ready to delve into the topics that we've had on our minds, like how bad Instagram has gotten for photographers and how Twitter has stepped up its game to give photographers a place to shine. Let's go!
This week we talk about our favourite podcasts (at the moment) and ask you guys to give us recommendations on others you listen to.
This week we talk about choosing your photography path and how that may mean different things to different people. Apologies in advance, as Tisha is suffering from Springtime allergies, and about midway experienced a coughing fit. But we record these live now, so yeah. Enjoy!
Hello & welcome back to the podcast! This week we talk about our favorite wines and Mother's Day. Cheers!
Hello and welcome back to the podcast. The name has changed but the awesomeness is still here.
Hello Hello & welcome back to Season 2 Episode 12! This week Tisha and I discuss our top 5 food experiences we'd travel for, with some honourable mentions thrown in for good measure. We love to travel and big part of that is experiencing another culture and a big part of that is food! We LOVE food! And we had such a fun time sharing our picks with you this week. If you have any suggestions for foods to try while traveling the world, make sure you comment on this post on Instagram! (@tishaandbrandon)
This week Brandon and I discuss the places we'd like to travel once it's safe to move around beyond our borders. We each came up with a list of 5 places we'd like to travel, and not surprisingly, some of the destinations on each of our lists matched up. Whether it's Paris, London, or just the next state over, we'll all be glad to get back to travel soon!
Hello & welcome back to Season 2 Episode 10 of Conversations w/TaB! Spring is in the air and with all this sunshine and good temps comes the itch to get out and about and take photos. It also has us craving even more the travel we miss so much. There's nothing like traveling and exploring, all while capturing the scene and those memories in photograph. Am I right? And then, after the photos are taken, what should you do with them? Do you back up your photos religiously, or are you like us and do one big back up once a year? Do you back up to physical hard drives or do you use digital means such as iCloud or Prime Photo Storage?
Hello and welcome back to Episode 9 of Season 2 here on Conversations w/Tab! This week the conversation may have gotten a bit off track with talk over burgers. That's right, we discuss our favourite burgers and how far we'll travel to eat them. But before we forget, Happy Easter! We also talk about rearranging our office/studio again, and trying to do video podcasts (and failing). We'll figure it all out one day. Anyway, we hope you enjoy this episode. Don't forget to like & subscribe!
Hello & welcome back to another episode of Conversations w/TaB! Season 2 Episode 8! This week we catch up after our week off by taking about our cabin fever and how we are fantasizing about roast trips our West. Tisha also has a tough time speaking, as her brain has apparently shut down from lack of adult conversation. And we're both dealing with sniffalus (™) Brandon, a byproduct of Spring's pollen & allergens. Blah! We're ready to get out an about and thankfully Mother Nature is slowly making that possible.
Hello & welcome back to Episode 7 of Season 2 of Conversations w/Tab! This week we talk about photography projects, shooting RAW vs jpeg, Daylight Savings Time, St Patrick's Day, and Spring Break. It's all very exciting, and I'm sure you won't want to miss out!
Hello and welcome back to the 6th episode of season 2! This week Tisha let herself get a bit irritable after dealing with buyers on Kijiji who refused to hear the word no. Then we dive into how things are going with our meatless lent, and the not so great aspects of it. Seems no meat = more carbs for us. Finally, we cap off this week's conversation with the question, what's one must have, can't live without it piece of photography gear that you have?
Season 2 Episode 5 starts off with some decluttering, followed up by a good dose of reminiscing about Google+ and all the lovely hashtag theme days and how great it was too be part of a photo community. We ended on a bit of a ranty note about elitist photographers and how judgmental they can be. Moral of the story, don't be an elitist photographer!
Hello & welcome back to Season 2 Episode 4 of Conversations w/TaB! This week we reminisce about past travels and daydream about possible future travels, all while handing our sage advice and being awesome. We also discuss the fun game of Name That Tune that anyone can play, and everyone should.
Hello & Welcome to Season 2 Episode 3 of Conversations w/TaB! This week we are back from our break and ready to update you on the mattress saga, as well as talk all things vlogs. Tisha is still in search of a camera system she can comfortably travel with and still get the great quality images she's used to from her Canon 5D MKIV, and she's considering Sony, gasp! Brandon is warming up to his vlogging skills, and we're both just trying to get into a groove with the podcast and the vlog. Happy Valentine's Day, Lunar New Year, and Family day to those of us in Ontario Canada!
Hello & Welcome back to episode 2 of season 2 of Conversations w/TaB! This week we regale you with our exciting mattress saga that started back in 2016 and continues on today. And thence move on to the hopefully less domestic conversation of camera announcements, namely from Sony & Fuji. Beast cameras with 50mp and 102mp respectively. What are your thoughts on the new cameras coming out?
Hello & welcome back to Conversations w/TaB, Season 2! We're excited to get started and keeping this ball rolling. The new year got off to a rocky start, but I think we can all agree that the inauguration of a new US President & Madam Vice President has helped changed the tone for the good. We've also started our Project 52 to help us get out of our pandemic induced photography rut, and Tisha is researching cameras as a second or rather travel shooter.
In the last 10th and final episode of season 1 and thus 2020, we wrap up the year, talk about some goals for next year, and wish you all health and happiness. We thank you for your support on this new adventure of ours and hope you'll tune in next year when we are back with season 2!
In this week's episode of Conversations w/TaB we dive into all things Christmas, including 2020's Christmas plans via Zoom, Christmas gifts age limits, and the ever loved Christmas traditions. We also discuss Tisha's overuse of the word "Like" and Brandon's shopping dilema.
On this week's Conversations w/TaB Podcast we discuss one of our favorite topics, photography and being creative. From taking creative trips and meeting inspiring photographers, to our gear wishlist, we lay it all out there.
The latest Conversations w/TaB podcast is here! In this week's episode we discuss Brandon's mom's 90th birthday, childhood experiences & the world events that defined them, what it must be like to grow up in the age of the internet, cultivating your creativity, and a possible project 52 photography challenge for 2021. #HappyBirthdayMom #Childhood #Memories #Creativity #Project52 #P52wTab
In this week's episode we discuss Canadian Citizenship, Canadian winters vs those in milder climates, printing photos & making photo books, and dealing with anxiety disorders during a pandemic. Please remember to be kind to one another!
This week we discuss exercising more, eating healthier, and being mindful of our calories. But also we talk food, and what we miss eating now that we cut the junk. And then we wrap up with a discussion about AI photo editing. Whether you are pro or con on this hot topic, it's here to stay. Make sure you check out the podcast as well as our vlogs on YouTube!
Hello & welcome back to Conversations w/TaB! In this episode we discuss the return of Grey's Anatomy, Social Media and our addictions to it, as well as photography and the age old debate, should you be shooting in RAW or JPEG.
This week we discuss the momentous results of the 2020 presidential race, that was thankfully called just hours before we recorded our podcast; naming Joe Biden the President Elect and Kamala Harris the VP Elect. We also talk about YouTube channels we enjoy as well as new recipes we've been trying.
This week we discuss the US Election, Halloween, & Saying Goodbye to Daylight Savings. The 2020 US Presidential Election is underway, so of course we can't not talk about it. Are you on Team Biden or Team Trump... or perhaps just Team America? Also, did COVID put a wrench in your Halloween traditions? Are you looking forward to an extra hour in your day?
Hello & welcome to our new podcast! This week's episode we focused on introducing ourselves and talking about the thing on everyone's mind, COVID. We talked a bit about work and photography, as well as TV shows we're watching.
