They went into the different ways it can show up, how the pandemic has exacerbated these feelings, shared how they've learned to deal with mourning and grieving different kinds of endings, the loss of loved ones, and told us the biggest lessons they've learned from grief. They also discussed the passing of DMX and shared what their initial reactions were. Sending so much love to anyone currently experiencing grief, it's not easy and never will be - lean on your support system. R.I.P X, a Yonkers legend, and to all of our loved ones that we have lost throughout our lifetime... until we meet again!     This week Destinista discusses THERAPY and the Black community's relationship with it with her good, good girlfriend and licensed therapist @the_joya_show. Joya broke down different types of therapy and the ladies discussed whether or not they believe therapy is for everyone, and the importance of being ready and open when beginning therapy. They also discussed how untreated trauma can manifest itself into larger issues and how therapy or other forms of mental health treatment can help break this chain.
