Emotional Freedom means we have sufficient safety, respect, and skill to stay present and engaged with life… whatever is happening… without reacting from our primitive brain with fight, flight, or freeze. And right now such freedom is rare… as rare as taking a deep breath free of pollution… or havin…

Do you find yourself eating when you didn't mean to? Eating things you didn't intend to? What if you learned to cover-up and bury emotions with food? In this free video workshop, we use Tapping to release the compulsive need for food to comfort, stuff down, and bury when we feel powerful emotions... and more.
I was invited to write the chapter on Spiritual Growth with EFT for the book, Freedom at Your Fingertips. As a special bonus for you, here is a PDF of that chapter along with an audio recording of me reading the book and doing the tapping sequences.
I spent a lot of years answering the greeting, “How are you doing?” with “fine"—when I wasn't. I was dying.
So often when we set life goals or make resolutions, they are around either Big Things We Want or Big Things We Must FIX. I propose you join me in a different kind of personal FOCUS: I Choose To Feel Good!
The unseen, inner intelligence that keeps our heart beating is the same intelligence that can restore our health-even if that restoration will take a miracle. But this is not an intelligence that can be forced. It defies our attempts to "fix" and cut corners. In the years that I've observed the healing process in myself and in others, I've noticed that true healing appears to be a process of allowing.
When we demonstrate our own personal power to resist and say NO, we feel in control. And that feels good. Yet, sometimes we resist that which is our own stated best interest. We say NO to ourselves! We say NO to our own positive choices.
(FREE Audio) When we start reconnecting with the body, sometimes we can find triggers that feel overwhelming. Here are some techniques that help us regain some balance and regroup. This audio covers what it means to be grounded along with some basic grounding techniques.
50% of everything you do... isn't as good as the other half. The first time I heard this, it was like a punch in the gut. Oh no, it's true. Half of everything I do isn't any good. Arrgh! And then I had to smile because...

Are you needing an uplift? A simple uplift is the type of thing that is available, I believe, to anyone anywhere. Simple says that it doesn't have to be Big. It doesn't have to be complicated. All the conditions don't have to be perfect. And it can still be savored and give us a pleasurable boost.

We're humans. We were born pliable. We adapt to different climates. Cold and warm, scary or pleasant weather. Cold and warm, scary or pleasant people. We were also born playable. We're susceptible to being manipulated by others and by our culture. And there is a question we can ask to help us not be so susceptible… to give us clarity, calm, and confidence.

Allowing… it's different than waiting. How can we be with "what isn't YET" and still feel at ease? Patient Presence.

How might each of us individually re-fashion our efforts… and life flow… to bring more emotional strength and resilience? What as a community can we TRY during these times that supports the emotional well-being of at least a few other people, both inside and outside our home? https://emotionalfreedom.love/

During this global spreading of coronavirus (COVID-19) and all the fear and uncertainty and panic that comes along with it, the way you show up for your heart and with your heart will make a difference. Perhaps ALL the difference. Please do tend to your heart. Feel its feels. Share its truths and its loving heartistry with those who matter to you.

Have you ever found yourself in an argument you didn’t want? One where whether you were “winning” or “losing” it was damaging the relationship. What typically happens? The battle keeps going, of course! Wouldn’t it be great if we could press a big PAUSE button? But where’s the pause button when you need it?!? https://emotionalfreedom.love/

What do we call it when we can’t do what some other human can? We call it a WEAKNESS. It’s also considered a defect, a flaw, a deficiency, a fault, and an imperfection. Or it’s a failing, shortcoming, inadequacy, lack, weak spot, limitation, blemish, disadvantage, and even a failure. What if instead… we cultivated our Gifts and accepted our Gaps? https://emotionalfreedom.love/

Tender-hearted people often carry the scars and bruises from blaming and shaming, especially from “friends” and “loved ones” and “authorities.” Fault-finding warps our sense of what is ours and what is theirs and what is the Divine’s. We end up with an Inner Critic instead of an Inner Buddy. And that CAN be shifted. https://emotionalfreedom.love/

Primal hierarchy is embedded in our culture and our brains. Rather than seeking status and power and control over others (and protecting and avoiding people who want to boss us around), what happens when we experience the “shared heart” of a well-tuned circle… where people join their power WITH each other to bring mutual relief, support, co-creation, and emotional freedom for all? https://emotionalfreedom.love/

Consider the possibility that an artist who you would hate to see quit is needing more emotional nourishment. Like lemon trees, they need more that social media Likes to be thriving right now. Are you willing to find out what would actually be helpful to them? To find a way that is a YES for you to be generous into their emotional world? How about becoming an active part of their support circle? It’s a potent and worthy way to make the emotional world a more beautiful place. https://emotionalfreedom.love/

“Stick and Stones will break my bones, but Names will never hurt me!” Such utter crap. When we’re not physically or emotionally safe around other humans in our spaces, we mal-adapt—a fancy way of saying it messes us up by forcing us to figure out ways to survive. But mal-adapting shuts down imagination, generosity, and authentic kindness and respect. You’re invited to help change the emotional world for yourself and for beautiful beings like The Boy with the French Braids. https://emotionalfreedom.love/

Consider that the most potent value of stress relief isn't just for your individual body, mind, and spirit – your me-space – but for the We-Space… the space we share. And it doesn't have to take more than 11 seconds.
In stressful situations, who do you become? Are you the fighter? Or, the one who wants to flee? Do you check out? Or do you feel you need to “agree with” the one in charge (even if you don’t actually agree)? Consider that the most potent value of stress relief isn't just for your individual body, mind, and spirit – your me-space – but for the We-Space… the space we share. How might our Emotional World clean-up and detox if more of us identified as Environmentalists? What does that even mean? I hope you'll listen and join us.
My Dad loved the Potomac River... and yet he still threw his beer cans overboard! That is, he did until environmentalists changed awareness (and laws). These changes have now lead to the return of mating dolphins to the Potomac River for the first time since the 1880's!How might our Emotional World clean-up and detox if more of us identified as Environmentalists?
