Building a Christ centred generation to influence the world by pioneering a Bible-based culture. Based in Jakarta, Indonesia

Resurrection is not a doctrine to defend — it's an operating system that replaces the old one. The old OS ran on three defaults: transactional ledger, worldly scoreboard, and managed distance. The risen Christ doesn't patch them — He replaces them. The sermon's signature image is Paul's athletic strain forward (ἐπεκτεινόμενος) — a runner leaning into the finish with full-body extension — because he was first seized (κατελήμφθην).

The Passover lamb dies for free — but the meal itself is engineered to replace Egypt's operating systems. Three elements do the work: bitter herbs (you can't romanticize bondage), unleavened bread eaten in departure posture (you can't negotiate the timeline), and a household-sized lamb (you can't depart alone). The signature image: a Passover plate on a threshold — where the meal is the departure.

Kingdom forgiveness isn't an emotional transaction but an identity shift. The person who truly experienced mercy (10,000 talents cancelled) becomes someone who releases others (100 denarii).

True revival isn't an event, spectacle, or arrival — it's recognizing that "something greater is already here" (πλεῖον) and responding with repentance. The central image: an empty swept house vs. the already-present Christ, and the pierced hand as the only sign.

God's dependability is not a straight line of success — it's a relentless thread of grace woven through dysfunction, rebellion, and mediocrity across 42 generations.

God's dependability is proven because He addresses opposite groups with the same welcome — shepherds and magi at the same manger.

Zidane survived a thousand pressure moments. One insult in minute 110 ended his career. David passed the cave test — then nearly massacred a household over four words: "Who is David?"What changed? The man who confirmed his identity had just died. From 1 Samuel 25: how Abigail's interruption stopped a king from becoming a murderer — and why the people you let speak into your life determine whether you finish well.

Two kings. Same throne. Same God. Opposite hearts. One won every battle, grew his army from 3,000 to 300,000, and never had a public scandal. The other committed adultery with his general's wife, covered it up with murder, and wrote the whole confession down in Scripture for everyone to read — forever.Ask most Christians which one lived righteously, and they'll point to the second king. This sermon walks through three tests from 1 Samuel that expose the difference between performative religion and transformed desire — and why the distinction matters.

In this episode, we unpack what it means to live as someone who is already “unleavened”—not just forgiven, but re-formed. Drawing from 1 Corinthians 5 and the Feast of Unleavened Bread in Exodus, we explore how sin isn't just an act but a pattern that shapes your identity, habits, and cravings. We talk about the difference between clearing visible sin and confronting the residue of old formation—what Paul might call the “leaven” that still spreads. This isn't just about lust or performance—it's about certainty, platform, and control. Even good things can carry old rhythms. If you've walked away from your Egypt but still feel its cravings in your body, this episode offers language, clarity, and direction for how to move forward.

In this episode, we enter the paradox of Gideon—hailed as a hero of faith in Hebrews 11, yet unraveling into compromise and idolatry after his greatest victory. Through the lens of calling vs. assignment, we explore how Gideon fulfilled a divine task but failed to live out his deeper calling. What happens when our success becomes our snare? What does it mean to finish well?

The Christian life will have seasons where God seems distant and silent. Understanding this is a normal part of the life of faith is important, so we're not caught unaware. More than that, God can use these times to grow our faith. We can rely on the promises that God will never leave us and that the inner work of the Spirit will help us persevere and experience God's faithfulness.

What's the meaning of life? Everyone from philosophers and British comedians have been asking the question since the beginning of recorded history, but there's just no single answer for all people. Instead, Jesus offers us a vision of a meaningful life that embodies his mission of Spirit-filled hope and love. This series takes lessons for a meaningful life from Jesus's final meal with his disciples (John 13–17). A meaningful life looks different for every person, yet for all of us, it is a life well-lived with and for Jesus.

Through the life of Paul, we can learn that we can be lost with all the condemnation for what we did and our mistakes and failures, yet Paul also shows that grace from God is bigger than all of our issue.
