Demonstrating repentance in ourselves and discerning it in others

Christian obedience flows from the heart of a believer in response to the saving work of Christ.

John assures us that in Christ we are born of God, delivered from sin, kept by His power to eternal life and delivered  from Satan and the world.

Those who are born of God will overcome the world because the Spirit of God dwells in them and guards them in the truth.

Believers can and must discern between the Spirit of God and the spirit of the world.

Loving God's family produces inward assurance and evidences a sign of your salvation.

Your spiritual family resemblance is reflected in your life and practice.

All who truly abide in Christ know Him, are confident in Him, hope in Him, and are like Him.

Children of God can have confidence in their hope of salvation as they abide in the pure character of Jesus Christ

God equips believers through the Bible and the Holy Spirit to stand firm against false teaching

Denying that Jesus is God's Messiah results in God's denial of you.

True believers can take comfort knowing the Spirit of Christ preserves them

A believer's love of Father comes from knowing His Word, hearing His Word, and living His Word
