In this week's sermon from our series Entrusted, we dive into 2 Timothy 1:1–7, where the Apostle Paul writes to a weary and discouraged Timothy from a Roman prison. Paul's call? “Rekindle the gift of God that is in you.” It's a deeply personal, pastoral reminder that speaks not just to Timothy, but to all of us who've felt the fire of faith flicker under the weight of fear, fatigue, or discouragement. This is a call for all believers—not just pastors or leaders. Whether you feel like your passion is burning bright or barely a flicker, God meets you not with shame, but with grace—and invites you to stir up the flame of faith through His Spirit.Mission Church www.missionlasvegas.com
This week we start our summer series in Timothy and Titus. This first week we look at how the early leaders in the church were entrusted with the calling God had on their life and how believers today ought to live in the same way as we too are entrusted.
In Galatians 2, the Apostle Paul fights to ensure that the gospel isn't lost, distorted, or withheld. This message explores how the good news of Jesus isn't just for us—it's meant to go through us, reaching those who haven't yet heard. Just like a package that never reaches its destination, an undelivered gospel can't change lives. Paul reminds us that we're not just recipients of grace—we're the delivery team. Title: Entrusted Text: Galatians 2:1-10 Speaker: Josh Branham
LESSON 166 I Am Entrusted With The Gifts Of God.All things are given you. God's trust in you is limitless. He knows His Son. He gives without exception, holding nothing back that can contribute to your happiness. And yet, unless your will is one with His, His gifts are not received. But what would make you think there is another will than His?Here is the paradox that underlies the making of the world. This world is not the Will of God, and so it is not real. Yet those who think it real must still believe there is another will, and one that leads to opposite effects from those He wills. Impossible indeed; but every mind that looks upon the world and judges it as certain, solid, trustworthy and true believes in two creators; or in one, himself alone. But never in one God.The gifts of God are not acceptable to anyone who holds such strange beliefs. He must believe that to accept God's gifts, however evident they may become, however urgently he may be called to claim them as his own, is to be pressed to treachery against himself. He must deny their presence, contradict the truth, and suffer to preserve the world he made. Here is the only home he thinks he knows. Here is the only safety he believes that he can find. Without the world he made is he an outcast; homeless and afraid. He does not realize that it is here he is afraid indeed, and homeless, too; an outcast wandering so far from home, so long away, he does not realize he has forgotten where he came from, where he goes, and even who he really is.Yet in his lonely, senseless wanderings, God's gifts go with him, all unknown to him. He cannot lose them. But he will not look at what is given him. He wanders on, aware of the futility he sees about him everywhere, perceiving how his little lot but dwindles, as he goes ahead to nowhere. Still he wanders on in misery and poverty, alone though God is with him, and a treasure his so great that everything the world contains is valueless before its magnitude. He seems a sorry figure; weary, worn, in threadbare clothing, and with feet that bleed a little from the rocky road he walks. No one but has identified with him, for everyone who comes here has pursued the path he follows, and has felt defeat and hopelessness as he is feeling them. Yet is he really tragic, when you see that he is following the way he chose, and need but realize Who walks with him and open up his treasures to be free? This is your chosen self, the one you made as a replacement for reality. This is the self you savagely defend against all reason, every evidence, and all the witnesses with proof to show this is not you. You heed them not. You go on your appointed way, with eyes cast down lest you might catch a glimpse of truth, and be released from self-deception and set free. You cower fearfully lest you should feel Christ's touch upon your shoulder, and perceive His gentle hand directing you to look upon your gifts. How could you then proclaim your poverty in exile? He would make you laugh at this perception of yourself. Where is self-pity then? And what becomes of all the tragedy you sought to make for him whom God intended only joy?Your ancient fear has come upon you now, and justice has caught up with you at last. Christ's hand has touched your shoulder, and you feel that you are not alone. You even think the miserable self you thought was you may not be your Identity. Perhaps God's Word is truer than your own. Perhaps His gifts to you are real. Perhaps He has not wholly been outwitted by your plan to keep His Son in deep oblivion, and go the way you chose without your Self.God's Will does not oppose. It merely is. It is not God you have imprisoned in your plan to lose your Self. He does not know about a plan so alien to His Will. There was a need He did not understand, to which He gave an Answer. That is all. And you who have this Answer given you have need no more of anything but This. Now do we live, for now we cannot die. The wish for death is answered, and the sight that looked upon it now has been replaced by vision which perceives that you are not what you pretend to be. One walks with you Who gently answers all your fears with this one merciful reply, “It is not so.” He points to all the gifts you have each time the thought of poverty oppresses you, and speaks of His Companionship when you perceive yourself as lonely and afraid.Yet He reminds you still of one thing more you had forgotten. For His touch on you has made you like Himself. The gifts you have are not for you alone. What He has come to offer you, you now must learn to give. This is the lesson that His giving holds, for He has saved you from the solitude you sought to make in which to hide from God. He has reminded you of all the gifts that God has given you. He speaks as well of what becomes your will when you accept these gifts, and recognize they are your own.The gifts are yours, entrusted to your care, to give to all who chose the lonely road you have escaped. They do not understand they but pursue their wishes. It is you who teach them now. For you have learned of Christ there is another way for them to walk. Teach them by showing them the happiness that comes to those who feel the touch of Christ, and recognize God's gifts. Let sorrow not tempt you to be unfaithful to your trust.Your sighs will now betray the hopes of those who look to you for their release. Your tears are theirs. If you are sick, you but withhold their healing. What you fear but teaches them their fears are justified. Your hand becomes the giver of Christ's touch; your change of mind becomes the proof that who accepts God's gifts can never suffer anything. You are entrusted with the world's release from pain.Betray it not. Become the living proof of what Christ's touch can offer everyone. God has entrusted all His gifts to you. Be witness in your happiness to how transformed the mind becomes which chooses to accept His gifts, and feel the touch of Christ. Such is your mission now. For God entrusts the giving of His gifts to all who have received them. He has shared His joy with you. And now you go to share it with the world.- Jesus Christ in ACIM

God's Word isn't just meant to grow in us—it's meant to move through us. It's alive, enduring, and expanding. In this episode, we explore how we can be part of that multiplication. Scriptures: Acts 12:20-24
In Acts 11, we see God at work through His scattered followers, spreading the gospel beyond Jewish boundaries. As the gathered crowd in Antioch forms, God brings together a diverse community, united by faith in Jesus. Through unexpected messengers and Spirit-led moments, the early church grows—multicultural, mission-minded, and marked by grace. Scriptures: Acts 11

We celebrate moms and spiritual mothers, acknowledging the joy and the aches holidays can bring (loss, struggle, longing). Jesus meets each of you in your unique story. He knows what you need. Jesus deeply loved His own mother and all women, treating them with radical dignity, respect, and compassion—truly countercultural for His time.Key Points:Jesus' Radical View of Women:Spoke respectfully to them (Samaritan woman, John 4; woman caught in adultery, John 8).Healed them publicly (Peter's mother-in-law, Mark 1; woman with issue of blood, Mark 5; bent-over woman, Luke 13).Affirmed their faith & worth. Many women followed & financially supported His ministry (Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Susanna - Luke 8). Mary of Bethany learned at His feet (Luke 10).Entrusted women as first witnesses of His resurrection (Matt 28, John 20).These women, freed from shame, became deeply devoted, bold partners in His mission.Celebrating Women in Our Church Family – Echoes of Biblical Strength:Mary of Bethany (Matt 26): Extravagant worshippers, pouring out your most valuable for Jesus. Like her, Radiant women, you've done beautiful things for Him.Miriam (Exodus 15): Leading in worship, singing songs of deliverance, reminding us God brings us to dry land.Esther (Esther 4:16): Courageous, sticking your necks out for others' freedom and safety, saying "If I perish, I perish."Ruth (Ruth 1:16-17): Faithful, loyal, obedient, choosing right relationship over comfort, loving for the long haul: "Where you go, I will go."Widow of Zarephath (1 Kings 17): Hospitality in scarcity, giving generously from little, trusting God's miraculous provision.Lydia (Acts 16): Businesswomen and those with abundance, leveraging success and resources for God's Kingdom.Hannah (1 Sam 1:27-28): Prayer warriors, contending earnestly, prevailing on God, and lending your answered prayers back to Him.Mary at Lazarus' Tomb (John 11:28-35): Raw faith in grief, falling at Jesus' feet, finding Him as the God who weeps with us & brings comfort.Deborah (Judges 4-5): Strong leaders with prophetic wisdom, inspiring victory ("Up! For this is the day..."), and partnering beautifully, calling men and women higher in God.Conclusion: Radiant women, for 20 years (and all women of faith), you've chosen the better thing. You've poured out love in extravagant worship, not counting the cost. You've taken courageous steps, chosen faithfulness, given generously, contended in prayer, wept honest tears at Jesus' feet while believing Him even in the dark, and led with wisdom. Because of this, we've seen Him. Thank you for being lovers of God and spiritual mothers. Proverbs 31: not competition, but a celebration of a woman's lifelong fruit. God counts & celebrates all you do.Call to Action: Let's continue this journey of faith: loving God and living for Him. Men, actively honor and celebrate the women in your lives. Women, keep arising, using your God-given gifts to call us higher. Let's embrace the future, partnering for the Gospel. God is worthy of it all! From Jonah to Peter, God has always pursued the lost and called His people to share His grace with all nations. Today, we ask: are 'Holy Blind Spots' holding us back form fully embracing His mission of love and redemption. Scriptures: Acts 10:11-18

In Acts 9, God chooses Saul—a violent enemy of the Church—to carry His name to the world. After encountering Jesus, Saul becomes Paul, a bold messenger of the gospel. His story shows that God uses sinners, and His mission often includes suffering. Paul's life of hardship wasn't a mistake—it was part of God's plan to make His name known. Scriptures: Acts 9: 1-18, 2 Timothy 3:12, 2 Corinthians 11:23-28
Paul's final exhortation in 1 Timothy is to “guard the deposit entrusted to you.” What is “the deposit” the apostle has in mind?
What if unschooling isn't just an educational choice, but a sacred initiation into presence, connection, and becoming? In this powerful and poetic conversation, we sit with Chevanni Davids: educator, father, ritualist, and founder of Reimagined Learning in South Africa. Together we explore the wild force of learning, the decolonization of time, and the radical tenderness required to hold the unknown. Chevanni invites us to reimagine unschooling not as an escape from systems, but as an embodied response to life's deepest questions. With stories, metaphors, and reverence, he offers a different map for learning - one that honors silence, slowness, contradiction, and ceremony. This is not a conversation to “understand.” It's one to feel. One to breathe with.~ As mentioned in this episode:You can contact Chevanni here:IG: @che_reimagined, @reimaginedlearningYou can check out Chevanni's offering Entrusted with Uncertainty here:https://medium.com/@chevannidavids/entrusted-with-uncertainty-a-12-week-journey-through-deschooling-grief-and-eros-pathways-of-0e1b245a7dec
In today's podcast, we learn about being sensitive to the Spirit. Just like Philip, who helped the Ethiopian eunuch understand God's Word and baptized him, we're reminded that when we listen to the Spirit, our everyday lives can become powerful opportunities to lead others to God. Letting God Be Lord Over Your Finances, which Are His but He Entrusted to You, Will Liberate Your Life! MESSAGE SUMMARY: We are so focused on earning money and other financially driven life activities so that it is easy for money and finances to become our god. Making finances “our god” violates the Second Commandment. If Jesus is Lord over all Creation, as we are told in Psalms 24:1, then: “The earth is the LORD's and the fullness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein. For He has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the rivers.”; therefore, everything that has been entrusted to you is God's. In James 5:1-3, the author of the Book of James provides insight into someone who does NOT make God the Lord of their finances: “Come now, you rich, weep and howl for the miseries that are coming upon you. Your riches have rotted and your garments are moth-eaten. Your gold and silver have corroded, and their corrosion will be evidence against you and will eat your flesh like fire. You have laid up treasure in the last days.”. Therefore, let God Be Lord over your finances, which really are His finances. TODAY'S PRAYER: Lord, I now take a deep breath and stop. So often I miss your hand and gifts in my life because I am preoccupied and anxious. Grant me the power to pause each day and each week to simply rest in your arms of love. In Jesus' name, amen. Scazzero, Peter. Emotionally Healthy Spirituality Day by Day (p. 132). Zondervan. Kindle Edition. TODAY'S AFFIRMATION: Today, I affirm that because of what God has done for me in His Son, Jesus, I AM FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT. If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him! This episode explores *the danger of a self-centered faith* and the subtle idol of self-importance. True gospel humility isn't thinking less of yourself, but thinking of yourself less. Learn how forgetting the self and resting in Christ's finished work frees us to live with joy and focus on others. Scriptures: Acts 8: 1-25

This week, we look at Acts 5:41, where the early believers rejoiced in suffering—not because it was easy, but because it made them more like Jesus. Their boldness in the face of opposition reveals what following Christ truly requires, tests how we view Him, and separates true followers from those sitting on the fence. When suffering happens to the Church, it refines, reveals, and reminds us who we really are. Scriptures: Acts 5:17- 6:7

In Acts 4:34–35, we see a powerful picture of radical generosity—believers freely giving to meet the needs of others. This reminds us that money is more than just currency; it's a tool to bless others, a test of our trust in God, and a testimony of the gospel at work in our hearts. How we handle our resources reveals what we truly value and who we truly trust. Scriptures: Acts 4:34-35

In this episode of The Estherpreneur Podcast, I sit down with Sam Vadakekut—a visionary entrepreneur, Kingdom steward, and author of About My Father's Business: Enslaved vs. Entrusted. Sam's message isn't just another faith-and-business pep talk. It's a spiritual wake-up call that will challenge everything you thought you knew about success, authority, and wealth.Because here's the truth: Most entrepreneurs are unknowingly building their businesses the world's way while praying for Kingdom results. They're applying marketplace tactics to a Kingdom assignment and wondering why it's not working.Sam knows this struggle well. His journey has been a wild collision of trials, triumphs, and radical obedience—all guided by God's hand. He's built successful ventures in real estate, healthcare, and more, but his greatest accomplishment isn't in profit margins—it's in the eternal impact of transforming mindsets and financial legacies through biblical principles. But Sam's path to success was far from glamorous. He's faced devastating failures that would've made most people quit. He's battled through seasons of loss, betrayal, and frustration. But every setback became a stepping stone—teaching him true stewardship, resilience, and a level of trust in God's provision that most believers never tap into. And here's what makes Sam different: He doesn't just teach business. He teaches Kingdom alignment.Because making money without God's blueprint is just glorified poverty—no matter how big the numbers are.And the blueprint he shares? It's straight from God's Word. It's the same Kingdom principles that empowered Joseph to run Egypt's economy, David to lead a nation, and the Proverbs 31 woman to build generational wealth. We dive into radically misunderstood truths like: Why most entrepreneurs remain trapped in religious systems instead of stepping boldly into their Kingdom mandate. The secret to unlocking true authority and wealth—and why most believers will never access it. How rest and celebration aren't luxuries—they're weapons for acceleration. Why partnering with the Holy Spirit is the missing link to transforming your business and impacting the marketplace. What if everything you've been taught about faith, business, and wealth is only scratching the surface? What if your pursuit of success is actually the very thing keeping you from it God's way?
In today's podcast, we explore Acts 4, where persecution led the disciples to pray for boldness, shaping their perspective and strengthening their unity. Instead of fear, they responded with faith, growing closer to God and each other as they advanced the gospel. Scriptures: Acts 4:23-35, 2 Timothy 3:12, Job 42:2, 2 Timothy 1:7

This week, I will reflect on my resources and skills and determine how to use them for God's kingdom work.
