This short twelve verse Psalm speaks eternal truths to each believer. God wants each believer to trust only in him, stated four different times in this short Psalm. King David was a great king, not because of his strength, but because of the strength God gave to him. Regardless of the enemies David faced, he always trusted in God and God always delivered him. David's strength, and our strength, comes from God, not from ourselves. May we all learn tis invaluable lesson: God is much greater than any of us, and it is excellent for each of us to trust God instead of ourselves. If we want final, conclusive victory, this victory will be because God, in his eternal power, has given victory to us.

There are many scriptures that speak of the resurrection. A few of these are: I Thessalonians 4:16, Job 19:26, Psalms 49:15, Psalms 71:20, Ecclesiastes 12:7, John 5:25, John 6:40, John 11:25, Acts 24:15, and II Corinthians 4:14. I cannot emphasize enough - Believers have an eternal home with Jesus, and unbelievers have an eternal home without Jesus.

In 2 Corinthians 5:9-21, Paul shows that those who are in Christ are new creatures, called to live for the One who died and rose again for them. Ronnie Burge explains that salvation is entirely by grace through faith, yet the changed Christian life requires diligence: cleansing away worldly filthiness, renewing the mind through God's word, and refusing spiritual stagnation. Drawing from his own testimony of deliverance, he urges believers to stay close to the word and let others see that Jesus Christ has made them different.

Is it normal for children to fight on a daily basis over stupid things like who sits in the middle seat of the car? Why do things keep getting worse, even with constant correction? The dads address this ubiquitous issue, and talk about "pulling the weeds early and often"…use of the rod…why "stop it" isn't enough…how to encourage good behavior rather than just quelling fights…and how they discipled their children through these issues.

The Bible records many times that two or three witnesses must agree on a certain point before it is said to be true. Some of these are: Deuteronomy 17:6, 19;15, Matthew 18:16, 18:19-20, II Corinthians 13:1 and I Timothy 5;19. The Bible gives three undeniable proofs of the resurrection of Jesus from the dead. 1. The enemies of God. 2. The creation of God. 3. The people of God. 1. The enemies of God include Pilate, Matthew 27:65, Luke 23:4, Matthew 27:23-24. Pilate's wife: Matthew 27;19. Perhaps the most telling is when the soldiers witness the resurrection but were given much money and told to spread it around that the disciples stole the body. 2. The creation of God also testified silently, in Matthew 28:2, by a great earthquake and an angel from God sitting on the stone, which was moved from the burial opening. Matthew 27:45 declares there was darkness over the land from 12:00 noon to 3:00 PM. Matthew 27:51 states the veil of the temple was divided from the top to the bottom. Psalms 19:3-4 tells us that the even though creation cannot speak, their witness goes out all over this world. 3. The witness of the people of God. Matthew 27:52-53 speaks of physically dead individuals raising from the dead and going into the city and appeared to many. Matthew 28:9-10 records that Jesus told women to tell his disciples of a future meeting in Galilee. Matthew 16:9 tells of the first person who saw him, Mary Magadelene. Luke 24:13-35 speaks of two disciples on the road to Emmaus. God has given many witnesses of his resurrection, more than we can mention. God wants you to know his resurrection is real.
