This week’s episode is a deeply personal and reflective one. Granger, Parker, and AntMan sit down to remember the life and legacy of Pastor John MacArthur, who recently passed away. They share stories about his bold, unwavering commitment to biblical truth, how his sermons impacted their faith, and why his voice stood out in a culture full of compromise. Granger also opens up about AntMan’s recent stroke and how it became a moment of clarity and conviction. Together, they unpack Scripture—specifically John 5—and discuss what it means to give yourself fully to God, to live a life that’s not your own, and to offer your body as a living sacrifice. Later in the episode, the guys respond to an honest listener question from someone struggling with spiritual numbness, doubt, and disconnection from God. If you’ve ever felt distant from your faith or unsure how to return, this conversation will meet you where you are. This is a raw, honest episode filled with hope, Scripture, and heartfelt encouragement for anyone walking through the valley. ********************************************** CONNECT WITH MY PODCAST: Instagram► https://instagram.com/GrangerSmithPod YouTube► https://www.YouTube.com/@UCD1JSCn257RlatavklMALyg My NEW BOOK HERE▶ www.grangersmith.com APPAREL™️ GEAR ▶ https://YeeYeeApparel.com SUBSCRIBE HERE ▶ http://smarturl.it/gschannelsubscribe Subscribe to my family channel here ▶ http://youtube.com/TheSmithsTV TALK TO ME ON SOCIAL MEDIA: Instagram► https://instagram.com/GrangerSmith Facebook► https://facebook.com/GrangerSmith Twitter► https://twitter.com/GrangerSmith Website► https://GrangerSmith.com See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

And the Sudan Armed Forces destroyed a Pentecostal church complex in Khartoum last week. That's not the only thing growing.  So is the homeschooling movement, reports World Magazine in an article entitled, “Hard choices ahead for homeschoolers in China.” Kentucky church shooter killed 2 women, wounded policeman The suspect in a church shooting in Lexington, Kentucky, has been identified as 47-year-old Guy House. An aspiring rapper, House shot a police officer and killed two women at Richmond Road Baptist Church, before he was shot down by police officers. The wounded police officer is recovering. Two other church members were also wounded in the shooting, reports The-Independent.com. Revelation 13:10 leaves us this promise: “He who leads into captivity shall go into captivity; he who kills with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.” Pro-perversion and pro-abortion European group targets Christians The European Parliamentary Forum for Sexual and Reproductive Rights has issued a report attacking the Christian faith.  It was funded by George Soros and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. The report cites the enemy, by listing Christian people and organizations who represent traditional Christian values. Paul Coleman, Director of Alliance Defending Freedom International,  called the report “a thinly veiled attempt to silence ideological opponents under the guise of academic research,” reports Hungary Today. Bitcoin doubled in value in one year The value of one Bitcoin has topped $120,000, reports NBC News. Judge blocks defunding of Planned Parenthood in new law A federal district judge has arbitrarily blocked the defunding of Planned Parenthood, the nation's largest abortion provider.   Judge Indira Talwani's order purports to force the Trump administration to defy a federal law passed by the U.S. Congress and signed by the President. Supreme Court gives Trump green light to dismantle Dept of Education Yesterday, the US Supreme Court issued a decision allowing for the Trump administration's plan to dismantle the U.S. Department of Education, reports NBC News.   In a 6-3 vote, the high court allows for Secretary of Education Linda McMahon to fire 1,400 employees — amounting to about half of the department workforce. Trump's 2026 budget funds 2,179 employees compared to 4,099 working during the 2024 fiscal year. More young adults lean Republican Young people are moving Republican. A new Yale Youth Poll finds 18 to 21-year-olds leaning Republican by 12 points, while the older group of 22 to 29-year-olds still favor Democrats by 6.4 points.  Trump reflects on assassination attempt anniversary Yesterday, President Donald Trump reminisced on how his life was saved from the assassin's bullet a year ago in this exchange with a reporter. REPORTER: “On this one year anniversary of Butler, what was going through your mind this morning when you woke up. I know that you're praising God you're alive, but a lot of people want to know how you've taken this day on this one year anniversary.” TRUMP: “God was protecting me, maybe because God wanted to see our country do better, or do really well, make America great again. But God was protecting me, Brian, I'll tell you. I have a job to do, so I don't like to think about it much. It's a little bit of a dangerous profession, being President.” Proverbs 19:21 reminds us of God's sovereign hand over all of our doings: “Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails.” What are the most and least rewarding college disciplines? What's the best bang for the college enrollment buck? A recent study found that for best starting pay and employment numbers, Civil engineering, Construction Services, Aerospace Engineering, and Nursing are the best majors. By contrast, Anthropology, Sociology, and Fine Arts are the worst for starting pay. Pastor John MacArthur died And finally, this just in. Pastor John MacArthur has passed on to glory, reports The Christian Post. Recognized worldwide, as a definitive leader among conservative Evangelicals and reformed Christianity, Pastor John led Grace Community Church in Sun Valley, California for 56 years. Remarkably, he authored nearly 400 book titles. He preached the authority of Scripture and was defiant in the face of ongoing COVID-19 lockdowns. The MacArthur Study Bible sold two million copies, and his commentary series sold another one million copies. Master's Seminary, over which John MacArthur presided, enrolls 700 men, and his sermons are still heard over 1,000 radio stations across America through the Grace to You ministry. Listen as he eloquently explains the spiritual significance of the death of Jesus Christ on the cross. MacARTHUR: “Second Corinthians 5:21 – ‘He made Him who knew no sin, sin for us, that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.'  Let me unpack those 15 Greek words. He, God, made Jesus sin. What do you mean He made Jesus sin? Only in one sense. He treated him as if He had committed every sin ever committed by every person who would ever believe, though, in fact, he committed none of them. “Hanging on the cross, He was holy, harmless, undefiled. Hanging on the cross, he was a spotless lamb. He was never, for a split second, a sinner. He is holy God on the cross, but God is treating him -- I'll put it more practically -- as if He lived my life. God punished Jesus for my sin, turns right around and treats me as if I lived His life. “That's the great doctrine of substitution. And on that doctrine turned the whole reformation of the church. That is the heart of the Gospel. “And what you get is complete forgiveness, covered by the righteousness of Jesus Christ. When He looks at the cross, He sees you. When He looks at you, He sees Christ.” On the Grace to You ministry's X account, they posted, "Our hearts are heavy, yet rejoicing, as we share the news that our beloved pastor and teacher John MacArthur has entered into the presence of the Savior. This evening, his faith became sight." Pastor John is survived by his wife, Patricia Smith MacArthur; children Matt, Mark, Marcy, and Melinda; 15 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. He was 86 years old at his death.  And we may add, Pastor John MacArthur was a big encouragement to the Generations Ministry and our publications ministry over the last few years. Psalm 116:15 says, “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.” Close And that's The Worldview on this Tuesday, July 15th, in the year of our Lord 2025. Follow us on X or subscribe for free by Spotify, Amazon Music, or by iTunes or email to our unique Christian newscast at www.TheWorldview.com.  Plus, you can get the Generations app through Google Play or The App Store. It's Tuesday, March 11th, A.D. 2025. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 125 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com.  I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Kevin Swanson Supreme Court takes case of Christian counselor vs. transgenderism The U.S. Supreme Court has agreed to hear a Colorado case of a counselor who has been cited for counseling clients under 18 about a Biblically sound position on homosexuality and transgenderism.   Alliance Defending Freedom will argue that the Colorado law violates counselor Kaley Chiles' freedom of speech. Colorado law currently allows counseling conversations that aim to steer young people towards transgenderism, but prohibits conversations that aim to help them to remain content with their God-given gender. Thus far, 26 out of 50 U.S. states have endorsed body-mutilating surgeries for children between the ages of 13 and 17. Thousand citizens and militants killed by Syrian government France 24 reports as many as a thousand citizens and militants have been killed by supporters of the new Syrian government over the last few days. Execution style murders are being conducted in the Alawite State of Northwest Syria, and some of the victims are Christians.   Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa denounced the violence. Al-SHARAA (through a translator): “Anyone who commits violence against civilians will be held accountable. It is our duty to protect our compatriots.” Menacing warships from Russia, China, and Iran Eastern nations are forming closer military and political alliances as warships from Russia, China, and Iran initiated joint exercises on Monday in the Gulf of Oman. This is the fifth such drill since 2019.  Dutch reject one true God, turning to false Muslim god Religious faith is declining in the Netherlands.  A recent survey found only 13% of the Dutch consider themselves Protestant, and only 4% attend Protestant churches. That compares to 6% of the Dutch aligned with the Muslim religion. The study discovered that Protestants are losing adherents by a rate of 3% every decade, while the Muslims are increasing by a rate of 1% every ten years. Swiss Evangelicals drop from 34% to 3% Another survey conducted in Switzerland found only 3% of the population attend an Evangelical church. And the Evangelical population has dropped off to 19.5% of the population, down from 34% in the year 2000. Over the same period of time, the Muslim population increased from 3.6% to 6.0%. The rate of Protestants leaving the Swiss churches has topped 1.6% per year. Catholics are leaving the church at the rate of 1.2% per year. The warning from Romans 11:20 to be humble is appropriate for the Gentile nations: “Because of unbelief [the branches] were broken off, and you stand by faith. Do not be haughty, but fear. For if God did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either.”  Wyoming Gov. cuts property tax 25% and bans transgender nonsense Wyoming Republican Governor Mark Gordon signed several bills mirroring the Trump agenda over the last week.   He signed a bill cutting property tax by 25%, and another bill banning government programs which favor or disfavor people on the basis of religion, race, or sex. John MacArthur: “I'm on my last lap.” Pastor John MacArthur appeared on video at his Shepherd's Conference last week. The 85-year-old pastor of Grace Community Church in Sun Valley, California and the voice of the Grace to You radio ministry has undergone three heart surgeries and lung surgery over the last several months. He noted that he's slowly recovering strength after the ordeal. He closed his address with these words. MacARTHUR:  “I realize I'm on the last lap. That takes on a new meaning when you know you're on the short end of the candle. But I am all thanks and praise to God for everything He's allowed me to be a part of and everything He's accomplished by His Word in these years of ministry. Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord, Jesus Christ.” MovieGuide affirmed best pro-family movies and actors The 2025 pro-family MovieGuide annual awards were announced last week. The most inspiring movie award went to the Catholic story of “Cabrini.” The film “Reagan” on the life of the U.S. president, received the Faith and Freedom award. The most inspiring performance of an actress went to Candace Cameron Bure, for her role in “A Christmas Less Travelled” on the Great American Family Network. And the most inspiring performance for an actor was awarded to Jesse Hutch for his role in “Christmas Under the Northern Lights.” Bitcoin down, Gold up Bitcoin has lost 22% of its value in the last month. Gold is up 4%, now hovering around $2,900 and change per ounce. The U.S. trade deficit has spiked 100% year-over-year in January, hitting a record $155 billion — which would amount to almost a $2 trillion annual deficit. Exercise helps sleep And finally, it turns out that exercise is helpful for sleeping.  That's the conclusion arrived at by researchers studying a group of 2,170 people ages 60 and older. Muscle training such as lifting weights and doing pushups improved sleep scores by 5.75 points and aerobic exercise improved sleep scores by 3.76 points.  1 Timothy 4:8 reminds us that “while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.” Close And that's The Worldview on this Tuesday, March 11th, in the year of our Lord 2025. Subscribe by Amazon Music or by iTunes or email to our unique Christian newscast at www.TheWorldview.com. It's Monday, February 10th, A.D. 2025. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 125 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com.  I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus 35-year-old Muslim abducted & married 12-year-old Catholic girl A married 35-year-old Muslim man abducted the 12-year-old daughter of his Catholic neighbor and took her to another province, where he forcibly converted her to Islam and married her, reports The Christian Post. Saba Shafique was abducted by Muhammad Ali from outside her home in the Lahore Cantonment in the Punjab Province on January 5, according to her father, Shafique Masih. Ali took her to the city of Shaheed Benazirabad in the Sindh Province. Masih, a Catholic who works as a painter after retiring from the Pakistan Army, said Ali produced a fake marriage certificate on January 8 that states Saba's age as 18, though her birth certificate states she was born on May 16, 2012, making her 12 years old. He lamented that more than a month has passed since his daughter's abduction, yet police were making no effort to rescue her. Isaiah 59:15 says, “Truth is nowhere to be found, and whoever shuns evil becomes a prey. The Lord looked and was displeased that there was no justice.” Pakistan, where 97% of the people are Muslim, is the 9th most dangerous country worldwide for Christians. Man arrested for desecrating altar at Peter's Basilica in the Vatican A Romanian man in his 40s was arrested by Vatican police last Friday after he jumped onto the High Altar in Peter's Basilica and kicked off the historic candelabra along with the altar cloths, reports LifeSiteNews.com. Vatican security guards seized the man and took him into their custody. The altar is situated directly above the tomb of Peter, a disciple of Christ, which is situated in the Vatican crypt. The candles he kicked to the ground date to the mid-1800's. Trump wants to shut down Department of Education President Donald Trump is eager to shut down the Department of Education and return control back to the states, reports Fox News. TRUMP: “We spend more per pupil than any other country in the world, and we're ranked at the bottom of the list. We're ranked very badly. What I want to do is let the states run schools. I believe strongly in school choice. But, in addition to that, I want the states to run schools, and I want Linda [McMahon, Secretary of Education] to put herself out of a job.” Appearing on Fox Business with Stuart Varney, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said that President Trump will keep his promise to shut down the Department of Education. LEAVITT: “When you look at the literacy rates, the math and the reading rates of young children and students in America, they are not good. Our nation's report card was released last week, and it showed that only 40% of fourth graders are reading at a proficient level. So clearly, the tens of millions of dollars that the Department of Education is spending every single year is not working. “President Trump wants to empower parents to have a greater say in their child's education system. As for the Department of Education, [To Be Determined] on an announcement there.” VARNEY: “So, you can't confirm that he is going to try to abolish the Department of Education? You can't confirm that for us?” LEAVITT: “I will say that President Trump campaigned on that promise, and I think the American people can expect him to deliver.” More outrageous evidence of USAID taxpayer abuse More evidence to document the waste and abuse of the American taxpayers' money at the United States Agency for International Development or USAID, reports The Blaze.com. Founded in 1961 by President John F. Kennedy, the annual budget of the USAID today is $50 billion. Listen to some examples of your tax dollars being abused. “$7.9 million to teach Sri Lankan journalists how to avoid binary gendered language.” “$4.5 million to combat disinformation in Kazakhstan.” “$2 million for sex changes and homosexual and transgender activism in Guatemala.” “$2.1 million to help the British Broadcasting Corporation value the diversity of Libyan society.” “$10 million worth of USAID-funded meals went to an al-Qaeda linked terrorist group.” “$6 million for tourism in Egypt.” "$5 million to EcoHealth Alliance, one of the key Non-Governmental Organizations funding bat virus research in the Wuhan [China] lab.” “$1.1 million to an Armenian homosexual transgender group.” “$1.5 million to promote homosexual transgender advocacy in Jamaica.” “$2 million to promote homosexual transgender equity through entrepreneurship in Latin America.” “$2.3 million for small-scale gold mining in the Amazon.” “$5.5 million for homosexual transgender activism in Uganda.” Conservative talk show host Glenn Beck and his co-host, Pat Gray, were incredulous. BECK: “Give that list to your friends.” GRAY: “Yeah. Yeah.” BECK: “Hey, what part of this are you for?” GRAY: “Are we just immune to numbers like that now?” BECK: “Yeah, I think we are.” GRAY: “Do we hear trillions now so often, so hundreds of billions and trillions now that maybe, when we hear $20 million for Egypt tourism, maybe we it just doesn't affect us anymore. We're like, ‘Ah, that's not very much.'” BECK: “It's more than most people will pay in income tax their entire life.” GRAY: “Ever, ever in their life.” BECK: “Wasted.” GRAY: “Yeah.” BECK: “And your kids are on the hook for a loan to pay for things like that, because, you know, we're $3 trillion over budget. The biggest enemy we fight is complacency. It's got to stop right now!” Trump calls USAID funding “a big scam” In a Sunday interview with Brett Baier on Fox News Channel, President Trump expressed his outrage over the abuse of tax dollars at USAID as well. TRUMP: “You take a look at the USAID, the kind of fraud in there. Well, we're talking about hundreds of millions of dollars of money that's going to places where it shouldn't be going, where, if I read a list, you'd say this is ridiculous.  It's a big scam.” John MacArthur released from hospital And finally, Pastor John MacArthur, host of Grace to You, has been released from the hospital following complications during his recovery from heart and lung surgeries. He is now recovering at home, reports The Christian Post. After enduring a challenging period of recovery from heart surgery, MacArthur has been discharged from the hospital, according to a tweet by Phil Johnson, an elder at MacArthur's Grace Community Church in Sun Valley, California. The 85-year-old pastor, known for his extensive Evangelical work and theological teachings, faced multiple health setbacks in recent months that necessitated a prolonged hospitalization. MacArthur has undergone multiple heart operations in the past year and needed additional lung surgery within just a few months. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Kevin Swanson Brazil's Leftist president a liability Brazil's Left-wing president is not doing well in the polls. Luiz Inácio da Silva's ratings have dipped to 47%. Lula's deficits are running 9.5% of the Brazilian Gross Domestic Product which is the measure of the total value of goods and services produced in a country over a year. The Brazil Real, which is worth 16 cents in America, has dropped 16% in reference to the U.S. dollar since he took office. The Real took the dubious award for the worst-performing major currency in 2024, reports The Economist.  Brazil's debt to GDP also increased from 71% to 78% in 2024 Milei's conservative policies boosted Argentina's economy Meanwhile, just south of Brazil, Argentina's government under President Javier Milei has successfully reduced the nation's Debt to GDP ratio in 2024 from 155% to 112%. Milei's fiscally conservative policies also improved the nation's Gross Domestic Product slightly, year over year. South Africa seizing private property without compensation And, last week, South African President Cyril Ramaphosa signed a bill into law that would allow the national government to seize private property without having to pay compensation. The confiscations will be allowed where it is “just and equitable and in the public interest.” The radical measure has fired up disunity among parties in the new South African government. Power shifted a bit in South African government after last year's election. The African National Congress and the South African Communist Party dropped from 68% to 49.7% control over the nation's government. Redistribution of the land has not yielded good results thus far for the South African people.  Business Day reported that “On-farm beneficiaries earn little-to-no income, and the majority of beneficiaries seek employment on surrounding commercial farms instead of actively farming their own land. Where land reform farms are in operation, they operate below their full commercial potential and have a strong bias towards subsistence agriculture. Across sampled sites, crop production had decreased by 79% since conversion to land reform.” God's law states plainly, “Thou shalt not steal.” (Exodus 20:15) Trump's administration arrested 2,500 illegals since Thursday The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency has already arrested 2,500 illegal immigrants since last Thursday, 956 on Sunday, reports One America News. This isn't the first time the United States has deported illegal immigrants. The previous administration averaged about 311 deportations per day, according to ICE reports.  About one-third of deportations in 2023 were individuals facing serious charges or convictions of crime as well as 237 known terrorists.  Democrats oppose protecting baby survivors of botched abortions The U.S. Congress still has proven itself incapable of taking the most basic pro-life position against the greatest evil in American society today. Republican Senator James Lankford's  Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act failed again last Thursday, as 47  Democrats voted against allowing the bill to proceed in the Senate. Listen to what Republican Majority Leader John Thune of South Dakota said about the Democrat opposition. THUNE: “We should all be able to agree that a baby born alive after an attempted abortion must be protected. And yet, I fully expect that later today, my Democrat colleagues will vote no on this legislation. “They will vote against protection for a living, breathing newborn baby simply because that child has been born alive after an attempted abortion. Why are they going to vote like that, Mr. President?  After all, I think most Democrats would still claim to oppose infanticide, even if the moral line at times appears to be slipping. And yet, Democrats are going to vote against legislation to provide appropriate medical care to living, breathing, newborn children.” Be sure of this: “Though they join forces, the wicked will not go unpunished; But the posterity of the righteous will be delivered.” (Proverbs 11:21) Rubio halts all foreign spending except for Israel, Egypt, & emergency food assistance Politico reports that Secretary of State Marco Rubio has halted all foreign aid spending for 90 days, including distributions to Ukraine. However, the order exempts foreign military financing for Egypt and Israel, and allows for emergency food assistance and “legitimate expenses incurred prior to the date of this” guidance “under existing awards.” 11% now delinquent on mortgage Commercial Mortgage-Backed Security reports the highest delinquency rate on mortgages in recorded history going back into the 1990s — now at 11%. That's up from 2% in 2023. Coresight, which tracks store closures, recorded a total of 7,325 retail stores shuttered up last year — a 67% increase over 2023. Family Dollar and CVS were the big losers. Amazon, Walmart, and Costco had big years. Coresight estimates 15,000 closures this year to include Party City, Big Lots, and Walgreens, reports CNBC. 75% of Christian men & 40% of Christian women use porn Barna Group and Pure Desire Ministries issued their 2024 “Beyond the Porn Phenomenon” report  concluding that pornography use has increased 11% over the last eight years. Seventy-five percent of Christian men and 40 percent of Christian women report that they are viewing pornography at least occasionally, and 60% are addicted. About half of practicing Christians say they are comfortable with the habit. Also, the younger generation (or Gen Zers) were the least likely to express comfort with how much porn they use. Gen Zers were almost twice as likely to say they wished they didn't use pornography at all, as compared to older generations. John Piper cites 2 Biblical motivations not to use porn Pastor John Piper addressed the porn problem in his recent “Ask Pastor John” podcast.   PIPER: “The biblical principle of motivation for purity, for not pursuing or indulging in sexual pleasure where it ought not to be found, is that the Bible uses fear and hope to draw us away from impurity. You hear both of these, for example, in Romans 8:13. “‘If you live according to the flesh, you will die. But if, by the Spirit, you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.'  So, if you spend your life giving into lust, the lust of the flesh, you perish. Now, that's meant to make us afraid. It's meant to strike fear into our hearts so that we turn away, flee from temptations of the flesh. “But then he says, ‘If by the Spirit, you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.' And that's meant to awaken hope. In the power of the hope, pursue this purity and not sin. So, the Bible uses both fear and hope, threat and promise.” He points to the Gospel motive from 1 Peter 2:24. It says, “He Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.”   Pastor Piper emphasized that “Christ purchased the power not to sin.” Pray for Pastor John MacArthur's recovery after heart surgery And finally, Pastor John MacArthur, the host of the radio program Grace to You, remains in the hospital following heart valve surgery, dealing with ongoing issues with his heart, lungs and kidney. Grace Community Church Elder Phil Johnson took to X to correct rumors that the pastor was dying. In this sermon, Pastor John MacArthur delves into Colossians 1:12–14, highlighting the profound reasons Christians have for gratitude. He emphasizes that believers should be thankful for their salvation, which includes being qualified to share in the inheritance of the saints, being delivered from the domain of darkness, and being transferred into the kingdom of God's beloved Son. MacArthur underscores that these aspects of salvation are central to the Christian faith and serve as the primary sources of a believer's thankfulness. In ancient pagan civilization, child sacrifice was routine, bordering on universal. Only the Judeo-Christian tradition has rejected that practice. But as Pastor John Macarthur explains, as Christianity has faded from modern life, the modern-day child sacrifices of abortion and trans mutilation have flourished. Pastor John and Charlie also talk about how Covid was a great test for American church leaders, the importance of marriage and children for young women, and more.Support the show: http://www.charliekirk.com/supportSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
