Throughout the Bible we're given many Promises of God, and some of them may seem impossible to the hearer… like the one we'll look at today on Light on the Hill. But when God makes a promise, He always keeps it. And the promise you'll hear about would change the world. In this moving episode of Out of Zion, ICEJ USA President Dr. Susan Michael leads an inspiring exploration of how to pray for God’s purposes for Israel to be fulfilled. She walks through the key covenants that reveal God’s unchanging plan, culminating in the new covenant of Jeremiah 31. She then explains how none of God’s divine promises have yet been completely fulfilled—and why His very reputation depends on bringing them to completion. The episode concludes with a powerful time of prayer drawn from Isaiah 60–62, declaring that God’s Word is true and His purposes will stand. In this episode of Out of Zion, ICEJ USA President Dr. Susan Michael explains why this is a critical time for Christians to pray for Israel and the Jewish people. She first explores who is a Jew, how the Jewish people have miraculously preserved their identity through centuries of exile, and how their modern return to the Land of Israel fulfills Bible prophecy. She then sheds light on the spiritual battle that has surrounded the Jewish people for millennia and how it connects to the ongoing events in the Middle East today. Finally, Dr. Michael offers specific ways to pray for Israel and the Jewish people. When I was a kid, I remember my parents telling me and my siblings, “We're going to Disney!” Man, was I happy and putting all my hope in the fact that this was going to be the best day ever. Let me just say, Disney didn't disappoint. Today, Pastor Ken says you must put your hope in God because He'll never fail. He promises that there will be a day when all will bow before Him. That should assure you because no matter what injustice happens, it'll all cease in the end, and all will bow before the true King.

A football coach has complete control over what his team does. Every play he calls is going to be run, except for the quarterback changing it at the last second. Today, Pastor Ken reminds us that God is the God of Angel Armies. This means He's in control of all, and everything on this Earth is under His command. No matter how hard you try, you can't change His plans for you. Hold steady to the truth that God is in control and will always guide you to where you need to go. He has your best interests in mind.
Every year, I have faith in all the sports teams I follow. In fact, every year I'll say the same statement repeatedly, “This is our year,” except what happens? Usually, it results in me getting upset because the team starts losing. In today's message, Pastor Ken says you must believe in God and repent fully to be forgiven by Him. The difference between God and the sports teams I follow is that God will never fail you. He is for you and will always put you in the best situation to thrive as a follower of Him.
Replacement Theology. You may have heard the term—or maybe not. But what does it really mean, and why does it matter for Christians today? In this episode, we open the Scriptures and step into a centuries-old debate that still shapes pulpits, seminaries, and worldviews. We'll examine the key passage in Galatians 6:16, and weigh whether it truly calls the Church “the Israel of God.” We'll contrast Christian Zionism and Replacement Theology, exploring how each frames God's promises. You'll hear direct quotes from supersessionist voices, past and present, and then measure their claims against the Bible itself. We'll also tackle the practical questions: What should a Christian's position toward Israel be today? Should believers support the modern State of Israel? How do we distinguish between Israel as a people, as a nation, and as a government? These distinctions matter, and they shape how we pray, how we think about prophecy, and how we live faithfully in light of God's Word.Whether you're brand new to the topic or have wrestled with it for years, this episode will help you think clearly, biblically, and deeply about one of the most important theological conversations of our time.
In this powerful episode of Out of Zion, ICEJ USA President Dr. Susan Michael shares why your prayers for Israel matter more than ever. She dives into the biblical foundation behind this call to prayer—revealing God’s heart for Jerusalem and the Jewish people, the prophetic promises surrounding the Holy City, and the unbreakable Abrahamic covenant that still stands today. You’ll also learn why the enemy works to stop God’s plan for Israel and how you can stand in the gap as an intercessor for His people and His promises to be fulfilled.
