We are at the end of our Holy Week series, and it's resurrection day. We all know what happened today. The church worldwide is celebrating! We are all declaring! He is Risen! Christ is risen indeed! I just have a few thoughts to share. The resurrection is a new creation reality. The first Easter morning, Jesus rose from the dead and He went to them, wherever they were. He went to Mary in the garden. He went to the two walking on the road to Emmaus. He went to the house the disciples were hiding in. And He wants to come to where you are too. Let's take a look at all the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus purchased for us. 

Good Friday is in the past now and it's Silent Saturday. I don't know if that's what others call today, but that seems like a good title to me. Yesterday, Good Friday, was good for us but dark for the disciples. They scattered. What happened to Jesus in the hours following the crucifixion? What happened to the disciples? Let's find out together.

It's Good Friday. Good means to be desired. And although it is good to us, it seemed dark to the disciples. Let's go through the events of Good Friday together. There's so much to see!

We've made it to Maundy Thursday of Holy Week, and it's happening. Feet washing. The Last Supper. Final words. Love one another as I have loved you. Sleeping in the garden. Jesus is arrested. So many things to see and learn from here. Let's take a deeper look.

We are deep into Holy Week, and there is a lot going on. We see a woman with an alabaster box doing something we call worship but she called simple obedience. There's the reason it's referred to as Spy Wednesday, Judas makes a deal with the elders, and so much more. I'm so thankful you've come along on this Holy Week journey with me. 

We've looked at what Holy Week is, Palm Sunday and Holy Monday. But what really happened Tuesday? Jesus was getting it done. Let's find out together the significance of His final words to the crowds and what He had to say about the fig tree He cursed the day before. 

We're back with day 2 of Holy Week - Holy Monday. From cursing the fig tree to clearing the Temple, come with us to discover the significance of what happened on this day in the final week of Jesus' life. 

I'm so excited to share my thoughts with you on Holy Week (or Passion Week). Today we look at the why behind celebrating Holy Week and answer the question of why there are differences in the gospel accounts. We also take a little deeper dive into the significance of Palm Sunday and the prophetic moment it is. 

As we move towards Christmas, two questions resonate in my soul. Do you know how loved you are? My prayer is that by the time you finish listening, you will know for certain and be filled with the tangible love of God.And...what is love supposed to do? Once we receive God's love, it has a specific work it does in our lives. Do we really know what that is? Our lives will never be the same when we do.

The elections are on Tuesday, less than a week away. It's such an unsure time in our nation. We  have talked in the last two episodes about the process of determining how to vote. Let's take a look at what happens when it's all said and done. The polls are closed. The votes are cast. It's the day after....What happens Wednesday?

My husband and I recently heard a statistic that somewhere upwards of 37,000,000 (yes, that is thirty-seven million) evangelical Christians who have decided not to vote. That number is astounding and perplexing to me. In this two-part series, we are going to address why we need to vote, some reasons why maybe we don't think it's necessary, and how we should vote.

In Ezekiel 37, God showed Ezekiel a valley full of dry bones and asked him a simple question. Can these bones live? It's a question He is also asking each of us. And sometimes we don't even recognize what the enemy looks like so we give him no opposition. What are the deep places? How can we recognize our enemy? Everyone wants to know the secret to an effectual prayer life, which really is a prayer life that gets answers. We dive into that today in this episode on walking with God. We want to move from a prayer life that is all about transacting business to one that takes us into the deep places of God, and we do that in walking with Him. Walking with God truly safeguards our faith and takes us to a place where we will see the supernatural. 

We are back (under a new name - Let's Go Deeper!) with the same love and passion for going deeper in the Word of God together and deeper in our walk with God. We are knee deep in this stay-at-home (shelter-in-place) directive in Ohio, and it's hitting us all a little differently. Today my daughter, Alli, and I had a great conversation about the quarantine from the perspective of a high school student. We chat about surviving, togetherness in a small house, taking things for granted, boredom and pressing in to God as well as what it's like to be a PK (aka pastor's kid). The middle. It's no one's favorite place. You're not at the beginning. You may not even have sight of the end yet. How's your city? Is it prosperous or poor? Godly or wicked? God has a plan for our cities to be full of His power, and it all starts with prayer. Culture can only reign when the church does not. What difference does it make? It's a question we usually ask when we're frustrated. Mary Did You Know? It's one of my favorite Christmas songs, but it's a question that begs an answer. She carried the Son of God for 9 months. Did she really know who she was carrying? Do we? As I look around, I see so many falling short of what God has called them to be - miracle workers. Overcomers in Him. More than conquerors. Carriers of His glory. Why? Culture can only reign when the church does not. God has given authority to the church to pray. To speak. To declare His will on this earth, and in this seminar we take an in depth look at what it looks like to reign in this life through prayer. Jesus said if we are thirsty to come to Him and drink and THEN rivers of living water would flow from us. Before we can give anything out, we must first take Him in. And that is what Spirit Fed Prayer is all about. Let's take a drink, shall we, of those rivers of living water!

We are living in the last days, and we need to pray. Pray for our leaders and governments. Pray for world events. Pray for the will and plan of God to prevail on this earth. Most of the time when we say, "I will pray," we're referring to praying for something after the fact. Praying for a tragedy that happened. Praying for something we heard on the news. Praying for comfort and grace for something that happened in the past. What if we could pray out into the future? Well....there is good news. We can! The position from which we pray matters. We don't want to pray prayers from the perspective that the problem looks bigger than our God does. No. God is always bigger. In session #4, we take a look at what our position in prayer needs be to be the most effective and open the mic up for a Q&A time.

Generations. Generation X. Millenials. Baby Boomers. So many generations. Which is the most important generation? The answer is - all of them. There wasn't a generation missing in the first coming of Christ. Every generation played a vital role the first time around. Well, I have some news for all of us. Jesus is coming again, and it's time for every generation to take its place to help usher His presence into this earth again. What part are you supposed to play?

I love the Christmas story. I've read it hundreds of times. And it can get a little ho-hum. But I got stuck on one verse of Luke chapter two, and it inspired a poem and a whole message. Take a few minutes to recapture the wonder of Christmas with this podcast. Never lose the wonder!
