Why walk with God when answers don't come quickly—and sometimes don't come at all? Watch the video of this episode on YouTube here. Russell and Beth join forces again to embark on the Bible's darkest terrain: Ecclesiastes and Job. Drawing from Beth's current teaching on Job, her newly released Bible study, and Russell's work through Hebrews 11, they explore why Scripture so often leaves suffering unresolved. Along the way, they reflect on faith as endurance rather than fragility, and the long, quiet formation that happens through daily obedience rather than spiritual breakthroughs. Beth shares wisdom shaped by decades of teaching, parenting, journaling, and marriage—including what she's learned about letting God hold people we love and how stubborn grace can sustain a life and a marriage over time. The conversation turns finally to Job, Gethsemane, and the cries of Jesus, who not only models lament, but gathers it up and answers it entirely with his death and resurrection. If you're living through uncertainty, carrying grief you can't yet resolve, or learning how to trust God without clarity—and you're comforted by a conversation that refuses clichés while still insisting on hope—this episode is for you. Lets be honest, there are many twists and turns we'll have to endure throughout the course of our lives and many of which we won't even see coming. But what do we do when we reach the fork in the road? When we find ourselves at one of those life changing crossroad moments when we have to choose if we'll go left or go right? And how do we know which path is from God? I believe that it's in these crossroad moments where we see just how much we trust God with the direction of our lives by how quickly we walk it out in obedience after we've heard from Him. So if you're at that crossroad right now or facing one of the hardest decisions you've ever faced, and you're uncertain, take heart. In this episode I unpack:1. How to know when you're truly at a crossroad in life2. How to discern which path God has for you3. When to move forward in obedience 4. Why you can be confident that God has youI pray this episode blesses you and the path that God has for you is confirmed again and again by Him and those He'll send your way to remind you that you're hearing Him. If you've been doing everything you were told would work—grinding, pushing, staying disciplined, trying to stay faithful—and yet you still feel tired, scattered, or stuck… this episode is for you. This conversation is not about quitting effort or ignoring responsibility. It's about the quiet truth many men are afraid to admit: forcing life out of fear will drain you, even when you're doing “the right things.” In this final episode of the week, we bring closure to the tension between hustle culture and faith by naming what most men were never taught to look for—peace as a signal of alignment with God. We talk honestly about: Why hustle and manifestation sound empowering but often come from fear and control How men confuse pressure with purpose The difference between disciplined action and fear-driven forcing Why rest isn't laziness, but alignment How God's peace—not anxiety—is meant to guide your decisions This episode is an invitation to breathe again. To stop punishing yourself. To trust that you are not behind—you're being redirected. If you've been living with constant internal pressure, second-guessing every decision, or feeling like God is distant because you're exhausted… this episode will help you reframe effort, faith, and identity in a way that brings clarity instead of more striving. You are a good man. You are not broken. And you don't have to force what God is already leading.

“Walking With God Through Life’s Trials” Scriptures in Today's Message: 1 Corinthians 1:9 ESV Daniel 3:14-30 ESV Isaiah 43:1-7 ESV
Today we are continuing our study in Ephesians chapter 5. Right at thebeginning of this chapter, we are told to “be imitators of God as dearchildren.” As believers, we are called to put off the old man—to put offbitterness, anger, and wrath—and to stop living the way we lived before webecame followers of Jesus Christ. Then Paul gives us this clear admonition:“Walk in love.” Myfriend, as I have been thinking about this, I couldn't help but reflect on thetruth that when we walk in love, we are walking with God. Remember in 1John chapter 4, at least twice—in verse 8 and again in verse 15—the ApostleJohn tells us that God is love. One of the great attributes of God is that Heis love. Everything God does flows out of His love and His goodness, becauseGod is love and God is good. Aswe walk in love as imitators of God, as His dear children, we demonstrate tothe world around us that we truly belong to Him. People see that difference—notjust in what we say, but in the purity of our lives and in the love that ismanifested through us. Remember, Scripture tells us to love our enemies and toovercome evil with good. How do we do that? Naturally speaking, when we areoffended or hurt—when someone strikes us—the human response is to strike back,to get even, to retaliate. But my friend, it is just the opposite for someonewho has experienced the love of God. Remember Jesus said in Matthew 5:9, “Blessedare the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.” Romans5:8 tells us: “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while wewere still sinners, Christ died for us.” While we were still sinners—whilewe were alienated from Him, ignoring Him, blaspheming His name—Christ loved us.He died for us. While we were being mean to Him, rejecting Him, spitting in Hisface, and nailing Him to the cross, He loved us. My friend, that is anunfathomable love, an unlimited love, an unselfish love. That is theunconditional love of God, and that is the love God calls us to walk in. Howdo we do that? First, we must personally experience that love through JesusChrist. As we read at the end of Ephesians chapter 4, “forgiving one another, just as God in Christ forgave you.” Because we have been forgiven, we canforgive others. Years ago, I heard something that helped me greatly. My naturalresponse to offense or hurt has often been to get even—to strike back. I didthat as a teenager and as a young person, and even later in life I have hadthoughts I shouldn't have had when I was hurt. But my friend, our response isnot based on how we feel—it is based on what we have experienced in Christ. Thelove God speaks of here is agape love—God's love. It is not something wemanufacture. God is love, and He has an endless reservoir of love. When I amoffended or hurt, when I am tempted to respond in an unchristlike way, Ipicture reaching into God's reservoir of love. I don't give someone my love, because I don't have it. I give them God's love. I respond with kindness, forgiveness, and goodness. I have had people tell me that I'm being a hypocriteif I'm being nice and kind to someone when I don't feel like it. My response is,“No, I'm not being a hypocrite, I am being a Christian. AsScripture says, “Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.”(Romans 12:21). There is joy in doing that, because we are abiding in His love. Please read 1 John 4:14-19! 1Corinthians 13 tells us that love is not a feeling. It's an action that comesfrom walking with God in His love. Read 1 Corinthians 13 that gives us a description of God's agapelove. MayGod help us to practice this. As Paul points out here in Ephesians 5:2, we areto walk in love. How do you do that? One step at a time, everyminute of every day, when you are walking with God, you are walking in Hislove. And my friend, His love will be manifest through you to a world around usthat desperately needs to know that love.

Today on the show, I get to talk to my friend—and one of our spiritual mothers and mentors—Beth Moore. We talk about her experience with her surgeries and recoveries last year and learning how to 100% lean on the Lord, and what it looks like to grow with God and sit with Him everyday. Plus, we got to talk about her new study: Walking with God. She's created this study to help us understand what it looked like to walk with God in different eras of Scripture. It's fascinating. I think this conversation is SO helpful as we start talking about the small, daily habits we can lean into this year to increase our spiritual strength. . . . . . Judges 7:1 Then Jerubbaal (that is, Gideon) and all the people who were with him rose early and encamped beside the well of Harod, so that the camp of the Midianites was on the north side of them by the hill of Moreh in the valley. 2 And the Lord said to Gideon, “The people who are with you are too many for Me to give the Midianites into their hands, lest Israel claim glory for itself against Me, saying, ‘My own hand has saved me.' 3 Now therefore, proclaim in the hearing of the people, saying, ‘Whoever is fearful and afraid, let him turn and depart at once from Mount Gilead.' ” And twenty-two thousand of the people returned, and ten thousand remained.
The Bible teaches that God is Triune, consisting of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Although many members of the Body of Christ understand this concept, they may not know each member of our Triune God intimately. When people pray, they often speak to God in general without understanding the specific roles and functions of each member of the Trinity. In this new series, Pastor Frances aims to introduce each member of the Trinity to inspire the Body of Christ to walk closely with all three. We hope you enjoy this series. For more information visit: globalgraceministries.com/

The Lord is the light. Notice what God's Word says in 1 John 1:3-7. We read in verse five, "God is light, and in him is no darkness at all." Because God is light, He provides the light we need for our daily walk. The Christian life is a journey through earth to glory. It is the light of the Lord that enables us to make the journey victoriously. The key work in this epistle is "fellowship."
In this episode of Pray the Word on Genesis 5:24, David Platt challenges us to imitate the life of Enoch, who walked with God.Explore more content from Radical.

As a new year dawns we find another opportunity to reflect on the daily paths we walk and to reconsider God's invitation to walk “The Ancient Paths”—with Him. His offer is not to add him to a loose list of resolutions, but to enter his fellowship, experience his presence, and enjoy his rest more deeply. Will you consider his offer?

Greetings, my friends. For over thirty years, I chased peak experiences and goals that were often fabricated from what I observed as adventures and success in the lives of people I would read about but never met. Then, now, over three decades later, I have the divine opportunity to share with you, “The Ultimate Adventure! - Walking with God!” I can confidently say that walking with God is not a fantasy but a daily reality.God offers the invitation to everyone and promises to walk with us. The promise begins with identity. Ephesians says we are God's masterpiece, created anew in Christ Jesus for good works prepared long ago. Our value and identity are determined exclusively by God. That means our worth is determined by what God says about us. Therefore, walking with God changes everything for us.Our purpose is not improvised; it is discovered. When we grasp this, the pressure to self-invent, self-actualize is removed. God sees me as His masterpiece! This reality has reshaped my choices, my work, and my relationships - everything in my life. The adventure begins in a relationship with God through faith and belief in Jesus alone. At the moment we accept God's invitation through Jesus, the Holy Spirit of God comes to live inside us. We are united with Jesus in our spirit. The power originates in our spirit. Walking with God flows from spirit to soul to body. Becoming one with God is a transformational process that occurs over time. As we grow in our walk with God, our thinking aligns with who God says we are, what He says He will do, and our trust and confidence that, through His promises to us, all the good works planned for us will be accomplished, thereby impacting everyone we meet.“The Ultimate Adventure! Walking with God!". Tony Send Tony a Texthttps://www.seldicompany.com/

Update on work in Colombia Congregations tend to be small and spread out. Christians there tend to be very strong and knowledgeable…
It was Tuesday at the gym, so the people walking around the track were supposed to go clockwise. The first walkers my wife joined were doing that. But then another person walked onto the track going counterclockwise. A couple of her friends joined her—and then another. Suddenly there was chaos on the track—and it took a few minutes to restore order. While no harm was intended by the wrong-way walkers, I couldn’t help but think about the power of influence. One person headed the wrong way leads to another, and on it goes. It’s a bit like Proverbs 13:20: “Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm.” Following the lead of a person going the wrong way leads to trouble. In Galatians 5, Paul explains how such a mistake can halt our spiritual progress. “You were running a good race,” he says. “Who cut in on you to keep you from obeying the truth? That kind of persuasion does not come from the one who calls you” (vv. 7-8). God, who desires obedience, never leads us away from truth and “into confusion” (v. 10). But those who oppose His truth can hamper our spiritual walk by redirecting us from Him. God wants to be our guide. When we walk with Him we’ll never wander in the wrong direction.
Pastor Omar Lopez | My Story 11.30.25
Growing In God Podcast Program Number: GIG #278 Title: Walking with God is Doing Web Description: How do we walk with God? By taking steps to act on what God is telling us to do. The Scriptures are more than ideas to learn about and discuss. They are a way for God to speak directly to us what He wants us to do. We can know His will for us in the Scriptures when we are willing to do His will. And we can know the blessings of a walk with God when we find the way to do His will as He makes it real to us in His Word. Show Notes: There is an abundance of material available to us for Bible study. We can do a great deal of Bible reading. We can memorize Scriptures. We can consume many Bible teachings. And God can speak to us through that. But if we never do anything about what God speaks to us, how beneficial is our study? Yeshua (Jesus) said, "If you know these things, you are blessed if you do them." The Scriptures are examples for us to live by. More than just studying them and discussing them, we are to take steps to walk in them. That is what a walk with God is all about. It is learning what God wants you to do and then taking steps to do it. If a Scripture touches your heart, or the Lord makes something real to you, then meditate on it with the purpose of doing something about it. Seek the Lord about it and ask Him, "What do you want me to do with this? How do I express this in some type of action?" This is how we appropriate the Word in our lives. It becomes real to us when we are doing it. Yeshua said that we will know if His teaching is from God when we are willing to do His will. And we know that God is at work in us to will and to do His good pleasure. The purpose of Him working in us is not to learn more about His will or to talk more about His will, but to be driven to do His will. Let us begin to apply this to our Bible study. One way is to keep a notebook of action items that we can do in response to what God is showing us in His Word. Whatever method we use, let us strive to see the will of God accomplished in our lives. Key Verses: • Genesis 17:1. "Walk before Me, and be blameless." • Psalm 116:9. "I shall walk before the Lord in the land of the living." • John 13:12–17. "If you know these things, you are blessed if you do them." • Matthew 22:35–39. "LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD … LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR." • Philippians 2:12–13. "It is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure." • John 2:5–10. "Whatever He says to you, do it." • Hebrews 13:20–21. "Now the God of peace … equip you in every good thing to do His will." • John 7:17. "If anyone is willing to do His will, he will know of the teaching." Quotes: • "It's not knowing the Scriptures. It's doing the Scriptures. It's not knowing the things of God. It's doing what He's commanded us to do." • "We're not to read the books or listen to messages and then sit around and just discuss them. If we're going to sit around and discuss the Word and what God's saying, let's start discussing what we're going do about it and how we're going to do it." • "He is working in you because what He is asking, or what's needed as a response to His Word or the teaching, may be a difficult thing to do. And so you have to draw on His strength and His enabling in order to go do that." Takeaways: 1. There is a tendency for us as Christians to consume a lot of material in our study of the Scriptures. But the concern is what do we actually do about what we are learning from the Scriptures? 2. It is important to develop some methodology that helps us do something about what God makes real to us in the Scriptures. 3. We have a greater grasp of Bible teaching when we have the heart to do it. And not only when we have the heart, but when we actively find the ways to do something about what God shows is in the teaching.

In this episode (KIB 505): Veterans Day gratitude & prayer for healing, provision, and justice Discerning the times without fear—and praying for spiritual awakening Why "talking with God all day" transforms prayer closet power Abraham's journey (Gen 17) and the invitation to walk before God as El Shaddai supplies every need Acts 4 boldness: being recognized as those who have been with Jesus Isaiah 11's seven-fold Spirit and cultivating holy reverence Practical stories: technical problems solved through dialogue with God, unexpected intercessions, and the joy that returns to daily obedience Scripture references (ESV): Genesis 17:1, Matthew 6:7–8, Acts 4:13, Isaiah 11:1–3.
Pastor Andy teaches that spiritual growth requires surrendering control to God and walking in community with other believers. Using the analogy of amusement park rides, the message explores how we can only go so high on our own, but reaching the heights God intends requires trusting Him completely and strapping in for the journey. We are reminded that isolation is the enemy's strategy, and that being built up together as living stones means learning from each other's experiences and testimonies, allowing God to take us higher than we could ever go alone. Scripture References: Ephesians 4:12-13 1 Peter 2:4-5

When we walk with God, we want to see that our relationships are healthy. It's part of the command to love one anotherFew things are more heartbreaking than damaged relationships. When those linger, the Body of Christ is weakened. Churches split because of it. Families suffer for it.Joshua 22:5 says, “Love the Lord your God, walk in all his ways, obey his commands, hold firmly to him, and serve him with all your heart and all your soul.”Notice that we are to walk in all His ways. And what did the Lord do in every situation in the Bible that involved relationships? He provided the very best. That's our mandate. Do excellence in your relationships. Has someone wronged you, or do they mock you? Take your eyes off their smug expressions and “walk in all His ways.” You'll be surprised how some people will react, in a good way!Just as we read that spouses can choose to pray for an unbelieving spouse in the hopes they come to repentance and wholeness, so too can we simply choose to want the best in all our relationships.Let's pray.Lord, relationships are difficult! But how blessed we are by You, that You created them for us. Most of all, our relationship with You, our Creator. In Jesus' name, amen. Change your shirt, and you can change the world!
