A significant number of people suffer from documented and undocumented mood disorders. There is data to suggest that Creatives are particularly vulnerable to afflictions like anxiety and depression. We all wear social masks. It is not the norm to openly discuss or share struggles involving temperament. There is even more pressure on a Creative who has a professional persona to uphold to smash down any lurking noonday demons. Additionally, in real estate work, we often deal with clients who may express some of these traits. This poses unique challenges. Why is it so hard for a Creative to do something the same way every time?Maybe it's because to innovate and explore is part and parcel of our creative nature. In this solo episode, I discuss my realizations in the area of consistency and how the practice of real estate and even something as relevant as setting up the mic to record this show pushes me to work my "consistency muscle," awkward as it may feel sometimes.
