From Clueless to Cleansers: Talking Skin Care Fundamentals With Morgan

Play Episode Listen Later Apr 6, 2021 63:51

Recently I realized just how woefully uneducated I am when it comes to the basic fundamentals of skin care.  What products do I use?  How often?  In what order?  Now that I'm a bit (gulp) older, I need to take better care of the skin I'm in, so I sought help. Enter my guest, Morgan Davidson.  In addition to her day job in the non-profit world, she's also a makeup artist and a marketing professional who worked in the skin care industry,  so she knows her stuff!  Join us for this episode where we strip it all back to the bare necessities and build from there. Oh - and if you find this discussion useful, be sure to watch for part two where we dive into the fundamentals of makeup!  I'd envisioned covering both topics in one episode but when we'd barely scratched the surface of skin care near the hour mark, we knew a follow up episode made the most sense. Enjoy! To connect with Morgan or to follow her work, find her here:https://www.instagram.com/morgansarahmakeup/http://www.morgansarahmakeup.comMorgan also has her own podcast entitled Her Megaphone,  so pop over and give her a listen!https://hermegaphone.com/https://www.instagram.com/hermegaphone/Music: https://www.purple-planet.com

If we thought 2020 was hard, the first week of 2021 has taught us that nothing new or magical happens just because we flipped the calendar.  On this solo episode, I talk through the week that was, how I found it hard, and how I'm doing my best to not only cope, but to give myself some room to feel and process and just be.  If nothing else, I hope we can all take solace in knowing that we're not alone in our feelings of anger and frustration and fear and desperation given the events dominating our world right now.  Music:  https://www.purple-planet.com
