This 5th edition of Essential Kylie Minogue focuses predominantly on tracks released from her albums 'X', 'Aphrodite', 'Kiss Me Once' and 'Golden'. All of the remixes on this edition lean more towards the big room and circuit sound. Tracks such as "New York City" & "Kiss Me Once" get excellent remixes from Toy Armada & DJ GRIND as does "Beautiful" her collaboration with Enrique Iglesias. "Love At First Sight" and "Can't Get You Out Of My Head" get updated remixes from Dario Xavier. Her most recent studio album 'Golden' produced the hits "Dancing" and "Stop Me From Falling" mixed by Barry Harris and Joe Gauthreaux & Leanh respectively and Joe Gauthreaux also delivers a power house remix of "Into The Blue". 7th Heaven and the Freemasons weigh in on "Timebomb" and "The One". The 4th edition of Essential Kylie Minogue focuses on her single releases in the 2010's. Her album 'Aphrodite', released in 2010 spawned the hit singles "All The Lovers", Get Outta My Way" and "Better Than Today". The world tour that followed was spectacular in both staging and success. She also collaborated with Taio Cruz on "Higher" which was an instant club hit. Her follow up album 'Kiss Me Once' was another success and gave us the hits "Into The Blue" & "I Was Gonna Cancel". In 2015 Kylie collaborated with her sister Dannii and released the hit single "100 Degrees". In 2018 she released her 13th studio album 'Golden' from which "Raining Glitter" was not an official release but became a big hit in the clubs. Official releases from 'Golden' will feature on the next edition. A variety of remixers feature on this 4th edition including Division 4, Moto Blanco, Brian Cua, Denzal Park, Wawa and some killer mixes from 7th Heaven. OUT OF THE DJRB VAULT: This is a blast from the past! I had the distinct honor to play the closing party of the Original World-Famous Pavilion on in the Pine on Fire Island at the end of the 2010 season. That winter our original sacred space burnt to the ground. :( For many of us that original Pavilion was a home and was our church. I would frequently pay homage to the ANTHEMS of the day in my own party at the Pavilion and this one just happen to fall on the closing party of that year.
