On a dull morning in 1986, some workers in Stockholm, Sweden, were getting ready for a normal day inside the nuclear power plant they worked in but that would soon change. It seemed the radiation was drifting over from a little town called Pripyat in Ukraine and yet no one had told the world that this disaster was going to have long lasting effects and even death...Welcome to Killers, Cults & QueensToday, Cheryl & Nikki are exploring the case of the Chernobyl nuclear disasterIf you're interested in more true crime deep dives, hit subscribe and ring the bell to stay updated.HUGE thanks goes to SNAG for sponsoring this series. Money Moves What does a financial system look like right before it breaks? With the US 30-year Treasury bond yield hitting 5.19%—the highest since the 2007 Great Financial Crisis—the warning signs are flashing red. In this solo episode of Money Moves, host Matty A. unpacks the massive macroeconomic divergence that Wall Street isn't talking about. While the stock market rips to new all-time highs, the underlying economy is facing a historic squeeze. Most importantly, Matty shares three exact, actionable moves every investor needs to make right now to protect their portfolio and capitalize on the shifting landscape.Episode Highlights:The Five Dominoes: How the shutdown of the Strait of Hormuz triggered a 60% spike in crude oil, reaccelerated inflation, and spiked bond yields. The $39 Trillion Elephant: The US is running a $1.2 trillion deficit in just six months, with interest expenses hitting $3 billion per day. How this debt load threatens the purchasing power of the US dollar.Real Estate Gridlock: With 30-year mortgage rates creeping toward 7% and commercial assets facing negative real rent growth, Matty details the margin compression crisis hiding in plain sight. The Stagflation Threat: Comparing today's CPI charts and geopolitical shocks to the crushing 1970s and 1980s stagflation era.3 Actionable Moves: Why you must re-underwrite every deal for higher rates, pivot to inflation-resistant assets, and watch the 10-year Treasury yield like a hawk.Timestamps:00:00 – Intro: The warning signs of a breaking financial system.02:21 – Matty A. sets the stage: Why these numbers matter for your deals.03:45 – The 5 Dominoes: From the Iran conflict to a massive energy shock.06:11 – Domino 4: The bond market rebellion and spiking Treasury yields.07:05 – Domino 5: The $39 trillion US debt crisis explained.09:30 – How massive government deficits are destroying bond prices.12:30 – The immediate impact on mortgages, homebuyers, and sluggish sales.15:15 – The commercial real estate crisis: $900 billion in maturing debt.18:22 – Stagflation parallels: Are we repeating the 1970s economic freeze?20:21 – The 10-year Treasury: The beating heart of the US dollar system.24:19 – The Fed's trap: Will they be forced to print more money to suppress yields?27:06 – Why the odds of a rate hike just hit 36%.28:00 – 3 specific moves you need to make to protect and grow your wealth right now.Connect & Take Action:Wealth Intelligence Brief: Text "WIB" to 844-447-1555 to get Matty's free macro data, real estate intel, and crypto signals delivered to your inbox 3 times a week.Imagos Income Fund: Text "INCOME" or "DEALS" to 844-447-1555 to learn more about Matty A's private debt fund targeting 10% fixed returns paid out monthly.

Episode 370 The melting ice caps are accelerating global warming and contributing to sea level rise, but could also contribute to a different kind of climate catastrophe. The melting may cause massive amounts of frozen methane to bubble up into the atmosphere. It happened thousands of years ago - and scientists are concerned it's about to happen again. Methane is a greenhouse gas which is 86 times more potent than CO2. Some estimates suggest this frozen methane - methane hydrates - contain twice as much warming potential as all the coal, oil and gas on Earth. Scientists have now discovered a new way for methane in Greenland to be unleashed. It's not a threat that has been taken seriously as the evidence has been inconclusive. But perhaps it's time for us to take notice? Rowan Hooper and Penny Sarchet are joined by New Scientist's Alec Luhn to discuss the news. AI Cyber Exec: Vibecoding Is A Security Time Bomb | Ryan Burke, VP Worldwide Sales @ Crogl

Ryan Burke, VP of Worldwide Sales at Crogl, joins Sam Jacobs, AJ Bruno, and Asad Zaman on the new economics of enterprise cyber risk. Topics include Anthropic's Mythos model, AI for the security operations center, why vibe-coded apps are far more likely to have security issues, why Claude Design tanked Figma's stock, and what the Elon Musk versus OpenAI lawsuit signals for AI governance. Key takeaways: AI has crashed the cost of running sophisticated attacks, putting nation-state-grade tooling in the hands of low-skill operators. As Ryan Burke, VP of Worldwide Sales at Crogl, put it on Anthropic's Mythos model: "Mythos has lowered the cost to like the dollar menu equivalent of...running an attack...so more people can do it." Enterprises are staring down a multi-year patching backlog that runs from now until the end of time. Non-technical teams in finance, ops, and HR are shipping internal tools using Replit and Claude, and almost none of them are securing what they build. Ryan Burke flagged the research: "vibe-coded software is almost 3 times as likely to have security issues." When the employee who built the agent quits, the agent stays behind with no owner, no documentation, and quiet access to systems it never should have had in the first place. For founders eyeing an exit, security has joined revenue, IP, and hitting your numbers as a non-negotiable diligence pillar. As Ryan Burke explained: "lack of security can kill an acquisition...a fourth pillar now is you're secure." Acquirers like JPMorgan Chase will not buy a fintech startup that turns into a vector for attackers to walk straight into their environment. The market case for NRR-fortress legacy SaaS may be weaker than the last decade made it look. As Asad Zaman, CEO of Sales Talent Agency, argued: "there was a generation of software companies that had signs that they had really good customer relationships...but their customers felt more like prisoners." If AI makes switching cheap and a new generation of software actually delights users, the moats around system-of-record incumbents start to compress fast. A new report suggests that New Zealand’s rapidly changing demographic make-up has reached a critical point. Within decades, a quarter of all New Zealanders could be 65 or older – a situation unheard of in our history. At the same time, migration patterns are shifting, cities like Auckland are absorbing most growth, and regional decline is accelerating. The Koi Tū Centre for Informed Futures report argues these trends can no longer be managed as separate issues – we need a national population strategy to link housing, health, infrastructure and economic policy. Today on The Front Page, emeritus Professor Paul Spoonley unpacks the data, the risks of inaction, and what a credible strategy would look like for our cities, regions and prosperity. They discuss whether Apple's valuation can rerate if it proves AI success and argue the new CEO should be more acquisitive in AI/software/robotics. Ives says fears that Anthropic/OpenAI will “unseat” major SaaS incumbents are a false narrative, expecting AI monetization to improve as features bundle into core products and pricing models evolve. Houston's story is closely tied to oil and gas, but its economy today is much more diversified than it once was.In this episode of the LSCRE Podcast, Rob Beardsley, Craig McGrouther, and Sam Morris revisit the 1980s, when oil went from about $30 a barrel to about $8 a barrel. When that happened, it dragged down everything with it, with real estate on fire sale, widespread job losses, and banks failing, creating a long period of economic distress.Since then, Houston has become substantially more downside protected. Oil and gas is still a major part of the economy, but it is no longer as predominant as many people think, dropping to a much smaller share over time as other industries expanded.Today, when oil goes up, it boosts profits and activity in Houston, but the city is far more resilient than it was in the past due to its diversified economic base.Learn more about LSCRE at www.lscre.com

Creation Moments on Oneplace.com

The discovery of tiny pollen grains in rock shows just how inflated the billions of years claimed by evolutionists really are. This discovery, by a creation scientist, has turned those pollen grains into tiny time bombs that continue to damage the theory of evolution. In 1964, Dr. Clifford Burdick devised a new, better way to collect pollen samples, and he used this method to gather samples in the Grand Canyon. These pollen samples, when viewed under the microscope, allow scientists to identify what kinds of trees they came from. The Hakatai Shale, dated by evolutionists at 600 million years old, was among the layers Dr. Burdick examined for pollen. According to evolutionary dating, this layer would not have contained pollen from conifer trees. Conifers supposedly hadn't yet evolved. When conifer pollen was discovered in the samples, evolutionists quickly claimed that they were modern pollen grains that had contaminated the sample. The problem with the evolutionists' explanation is that pollen is resistant to staining. Yet this pollen was stained with red from the shale itself. It must have been there a long time. The experiment was repeated in 1970. Not only were grains of conifer pollen again found, but pollen from oak trees and evidence of other flowering plants were found as well. The discovery of these pollen grains offers scientific evidence that evolution's time scale and story of history is wrong. The evidence does support the accuracy of the Bible that tells us that all life began during the first week of the earth's history some few thousand years ago.Colossians 1:16“For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:”Prayer: I thank You, Lord, for those scientists who work to honor You. Bless them and keep them under your protection as they work in a field that is generally hostile to your Truth. In this episode of the Providence Financial Retirement Show, we break down what we call the ticking tax time bomb - the buildup of pre-tax retirement savings that can lead to rising required minimum distributions, unexpected tax brackets, and even higher taxes on Social Security and Medicare costs. You'll learn why traditional "tax-deferred" savings strategies may create long-term consequences, and how proactive planning can help you take control instead of reacting later. We also discuss how Roth conversions and smart withdrawal planning can help you manage taxes across your retirement, not just in one year. This is not about avoiding taxes. It's about controlling when and how you pay them so you can keep more of what you've worked for. John and Jim examine the third Trial of a Time Lord story featuring the Doctor's bold defense strategy: presenting evidence from his own future, complete with a new companion who somehow makes Perry instantly forgettable. The Gutsy Introduction: The hosts examine the unprecedented decision to introduce Mel (Bonnie Langford) not at the beginning of her travels but as if she's already been with the Doctor for ages. Discussion covers the instant chemistry between Colin Baker and Bonnie Langford, Mel's agency and enthusiasm as a breath of fresh air, and why this pairing works despite unconventional storytelling. Evidence From the Future?: Jim questions the trial's fundamental logic - why would Time Lords accept evidence that hasn't happened yet? The hosts debate whether showing the Doctor "gets better" in the future undermines the entire prosecution while simultaneously revealing he survives the trial. Discussion includes the questionable legal framework and the Valeyard's surprisingly weak objections. The Bonnie Langford Factor: Extensive background on why casting Bonnie Langford was considered both a coup and a joke. The hosts explore her reputation as "England's Shirley Temple" (not in a good way), comparisons to Justin Bieber or Tiffany suddenly joining Star Trek, and how Pip and Jane Baker deliberately wrote against audience expectations. Coverage includes the infamous scream count, the F-key requirement matching the theme music sting, and whether Mel's voice takes getting used to. Production Crisis Mode: John details the chaos behind the scenes - Eric Saward's resignation leaving no script editor credited, JNT forced to take over script development, the Starlog interview controversy, JNT's attempted resignation (initially accepted with the caveat he fire Colin Baker), and morale at all-time lows with no pickup news. The Space Liner Mystery: Discussion of the murder mystery setup aboard Hyperion 3, Honor Blackman's casting (playing someone in her 40s while in her 60s), the Love Boat-style passenger introductions, the Mogarians and their translator issues, and Commodore Travers recognizing the Sixth Doctor from an adventure viewers never saw. The Vervoid Problem: Both hosts agree the plant-based menace suffers from unfortunate design - looked fine in studio as tulips but became laughable on screen. Jim argues the human crimes prove more interesting than the creature threat. Discussion covers Pip Baker's research into plant hormones, the effective reveal scene in shadows, Professor Lasky's Thing from Another World-inspired death, and the wilting death sequence. Red Herrings and Subplots: Examination of dropped plot threads including the Demeter seeds going nowhere (despite the Doctor eating one), Ruth the plant-infested woman's wasted potential, the Mogarian hijacking subplot as acknowledged "sideshow," and whether these diversions work or waste time. The Chemistry Question: Both hosts marvel at how Baker and Langford perform as if they'd been together for years. Coverage includes Mel not being told to "stay here," treatment as the Doctor's equal rather than damsel, her computer programmer background never materializing, and Pease Pottage references connecting to nursery rhymes. Design and Effects: Appreciation for the art deco lamp-inspired Hyperion 3 design (compared to Empire Strikes Back's Cloud City inspiration), the elaborate video game homage possibly recycled from "Nightmare Fair" development, black hole interpretation, and bodies stacked like cordwood pushing graphic boundaries. The Genocide Charge: The Valeyard's closing accusation transforms the trial as Article 7 of Gallifreyan Law makes no exceptions - destroying an entire species constitutes genocide regardless of necessity. The hosts question whether this charge sticks and what it means for the finale. Behind the Sofa Confusion: Colin, Bonnie, and Nicola on one couch with Matthew Waterhouse, Fraser Hines, and Mark Strickson on another - the three men initially think the plant-infested woman is Nicola Bryant and wonder "what happened to Peri." Coming Up Next: Patreon Exclusive (Monday): More Doctor Who music, Memory TARDIS spin with random First Five Doctors story recall, the three-part comic "Time Bomb," and news about recent collection release controversies and RTD decisions raising hackles. Main Feed Episode (Friday for Patreon, Following Saturday for All): The two-part finale "The Ultimate Foe" wraps up Colin Baker's era. John handles narration and promises Jim will thank him for NOT handling this one. Fandom generally dislikes it - meaning Jim will probably love it. The Tax Time Bomb In Your Retirement Accounts

In this episode, we talk about the tax time bomb hiding inside retirement accounts for healthcare professionals. We focus on clinicians who have done everything right:.you saved consistently. You deferred income. You maximized our 403(b) and 457(b) plans. But we explain how those smart decisions can create large tax consequences later in retirement. Here's the core issue. Decades of tax deferral during high earning years allow retirement accounts to grow substantially. Over time, those accounts often become the largest part of net worth. The problem is not the saving. The problem is what happens when required minimum distributions begin. These RMDs are not based on lifestyle needs. They are based on account size. The larger the balance, the larger the forced withdrawal. And those withdrawals are taxed as ordinary income. They stack on top of Social Security, pensions, deferred compensation, and sometimes part time work. That is how many clinicians end up in their highest tax years after they stop working. The common assumption that taxes drop in retirement: it does not always hold true for prepared professionals. Retirement changes where income comes from, not necessarily how much income there is. Social Security taxation depends on total income. Medicare premiums increase when income crosses thresholds. Strong market growth can quietly increase future RMDs. Income can show up whether we want it or not.The most valuable planning window often happens before RMDs and Social Security begin. Those transition years between retirement and age 73 can offer meaningful control. If income temporarily dips while net worth remains high, we may have opportunities to shift assets strategically. What about Roth conversions? They are not about avoiding taxes. They are about choosing when to pay them. By moving money from traditional IRAs to Roth accounts during lower income years, we reduce future RMDs and create flexibility. Now, these conversions can feel uncomfortable because they increase short term taxable income and may affect Medicare premiums. But we emphasize that the real goal is to reduce sharp income spikes later.Again, these tax issues are often the result of doing everything right. Flexibility matters more than perfect timing. Thoughtful planning today can prevent forced decisions later.(00:00) Introduction(00:51) How 403(b) and 457(b) Plans Create Future Tax Risk(02:59) Why Taxes May Not Drop in Retirement(04:36) Social Security and Medicare Income Traps(07:01) The Transition Years Planning Window(10:26) Understanding Roth Conversions(14:46) How Early Planning Reduces RMD Pressure(16:17) The Power of Tax Diversification(18:21) Key Takeaways for Clinicians To get in touch with Amy and her team at Thimbleberry Financial, call 503-610-6510 or visit thimbleberryfinancial.com.The ThimbleberryU Podcast is produced by JAG Podcast Productions - https://jagpodcastproductions.com/

Join the Conversation at 303-477-5600 or text to 307-200-8222 Monday - Friday from 3 pm - 6 pm MT. https://RushToReason.com --- HOUR 1 Are We Treating Cancer All Wrong? The Truth About Food, Pharma, and Your Health. Hour 1 of Rush to Reason dives headfirst into one of the most provocative health conversations of our time—are we treating disease all wrong? John Rush, Dr. Kelly Victory, and Steve House explore emerging ideas in cancer treatment, including the surprising potential of repurposed drugs such as ivermectin and fenbendazole. Could creating a “hostile environment” for cancer be more effective—and less destructive—than traditional chemotherapy? The conversation expands into a broader look at immune health, prevention, and the growing skepticism around vaccines, including a controversial breast cancer vaccine currently in trials. But the real fireworks begin when the discussion turns to power and control—should judges, politicians, or medical professionals determine public health policy? Then comes a hard pivot to something every listener faces daily: food. From processed ingredients to misleading labels, the trio exposes how modern diets may be fueling chronic disease—and why real change faces massive resistance from powerful industries. Are Americans being protected… or profited from? And more importantly, what can you do about it? --- HOUR 2 Are Parents Being Kept in the Dark? From Schools to Global Tensions Hour 2 takes listeners from local concerns in the classroom to high-stakes global conflicts, revealing a common theme: are people fully informed about the systems shaping their lives? John is joined by Alvin Lui to uncover a program targeting young girls that raises serious questions about transparency in education. What's being presented as empowerment may carry deeper ideological messaging—but how would parents even know? The conversation then shifts to action, exploring how parents can investigate, push back, and demand accountability from schools. But the focus doesn't stay local for long. As Jim Pfaff joins the show, the discussion expands to election integrity, government policy, and rising instability around the world—from Iran to Cuba. Are global alliances shifting, and is the U.S. prepared for what comes next? The hour closes on a surprisingly practical note—driver's education and personal responsibility—bringing everything back to a central question: Are we paying attention to the changes happening around us… or reacting too late? Timestamps * 1:08 — Alvin Lui — https://courageisahabit.org/ * 26:56 — Jim Pfaff — https://theconservativecaucus.com/ --- HOUR 3 The Hidden Financial Time Bomb Inside Government Systems, and From Parenting to Policy—Where Responsibility Begins Hour 3 delivers a wide-ranging and thought-provoking conversation that connects economics, politics, and personal responsibility in ways that may surprise listeners. John Rush is joined by Jerzee Joe to unpack the hidden financial realities behind government systems—starting with the U.S. Postal Service and expanding to a much bigger issue: underfunded pensions. How deep is the problem, and what happens if those promises can't be kept? The discussion then shifts to taxation and economic migration, as high earners continue leaving states like California and New York. Are policies designed to generate revenue actually driving it away? From there, the conversation pivots sharply into global tensions, with bold takes on Iran and shifting political dynamics at home. But just as the stakes seem global, the hour comes full circle—back to parenting, independence, and the real-world skills young people are (or aren't) learning. Are today's challenges connected in ways we're not seeing, and more importantly, are we preparing for what comes next? Timestamps 1:10 — Jerzee Joe https://www.jerzeejoe.com/

During the Cold War, the Pentagon explored a terrifying possibility: weaponizing insects to spread disease. At laboratories like Fort Detrick and Plum Island, scientists studied ticks, mosquitoes, and fleas as delivery systems for biological agents. Now, newly examined documents are raising unsettling questions. Did secret military experiments help shape the mysterious emergence of Lyme disease in the 1970s? Dr. Robert Malone joins Richard Syrett to investigate one of the most disturbing chapters of biowarfare history. GUEST: Dr. Robert Malone is a physician, biochemist, and internationally recognized pioneer of mRNA vaccine technology whose early research helped lay the foundation for modern genetic vaccines. In recent years he has emerged as a controversial voice examining the intersection of public health, national security, and government transparency. Malone has been investigating Cold War biological warfare programs—including alleged experiments involving disease-carrying ticks—and their possible connection to the origins of Lyme disease. We often treat anger, sadness, fear, shame, or hurt as signs of spiritual failure—emotions to hide, suppress, or “pray away.” But what if these emotions are signals from God, pointing to places where He wants to heal and free us? Our past shapes us more than we realize. Family patterns, wounds, false identities, and unhealed memories all lie beneath the surface until we face them. Jesus invites us to live a new kind of life—one where emotional honesty and spiritual formation go hand in hand. The journey starts with silence, solitude, and truth-telling before God. It's here that He reveals what we've buried and begins transforming us from the inside out.

The clock is running for whoever took Nancy Guthrie.Twenty-five days of silence. Twenty-five days of hiding while genetic genealogy labs work through samples and investigators canvass every gun shop in Arizona with photos of that holster. Twenty-five days of exposure compounding.Former prosecutor Eric Faddis joins us live to break down exactly what the person responsible is facing—and why the decision they make in the next days or weeks will determine the rest of their life.If this was a break-in that ended with a death the perpetrator didn't intend, Arizona law doesn't offer much comfort. Felony murder means intent doesn't matter. A death during a burglary is a murder charge. Full stop. Concealment of the body is a separate crime. So is evidence tampering. So is flight.Faddis explains what surrendering now actually buys versus getting caught later. Walking in with a lawyer and the location of Nancy Guthrie's body is a different conversation than getting pulled in after a DNA hit. One gives the defense something to negotiate with. The other lets prosecutors argue consciousness of guilt to a jury. The problem: whoever hid Nancy also hid the evidence that could support their own defense. If the claim is "I didn't mean to kill her," how do you prove it when there's no body to examine? Both sides are stuck on cause of death—and that's the defendant's fault. We're also covering the civil side. The Guthrie family has resources. Wrongful death doesn't require a conviction. It's a separate track, and it's coming regardless.Bring your questions. This one cuts straight through the noise: tariffs aren't “tough policy,” they're a hidden tax, war risk isn't some abstract headline, it's an inflation accelerant, and the Fed is stuck trying to clean up a fiscal mess it didn't create. While markets pretend everything is fine, corporate margins sit at historic highs, consumers keep spending, homeowners are insulated, and the cost quietly gets passed down the line. Wages get blamed, voters get distracted, and the money printer stays off-camera. Calm on the surface, pressure underneath... and a tariff time bomb sitting right in the middle of it all.

The ayatollahs savagely crushed the uprising with impunity.  And vicious retribution reportedly continues unchecked.  The magnitude of the danger posed by leaving the perpetrators of such crimes unpunished and in power is hard to overstate. They dig into why Democrats picked this fight, why they folded even while winning the blame game, and what it says about Obamacare that it now needs emergency subsidies for the emergency subsidies. Then, from World War II wage controls to Hillarycare to the ACA, Peter walks through how America accidentally built three-and-a-half overlapping healthcare systems—and why both parties are in denial about the bill coming due.    In Politicology+ they dive into the battle between the Abundance Agenda and the ascendent socialism on the left Not yet a Politicology+ member?
