Bronnen: Beowulf. Auteur onbekend, vermoedelijk uit de 8e eeuw. Justin's computer issues continue to haunt him like the children in this film. Notwithstanding, it's back up. Joe Brady is back. Kids are killing people. Anarchy ensues. Adults are killing children. It's bonkers. So, without further delay, please enjoy Beware! Children at Play. Grab that moonshine...cheers! Thank you for your patience.

From Troma's website: "Childhood used to be about jumping rope and playing hopscotch…but in one little backwoods town it's now about slitting throats and eating flesh! While visiting Tromaville, the DeWolfe family discover a terrifying secret. God-fearing parents panic as their children mysteriously disappear. Little do they know that only thing worse than their children disappearing would be them coming back! Lured into a cannibalistic cult, doe-eyed innocents are transformed into mindless killing machines. Parents and children face off in the most stomach-churning finale of mutilated flesh to bloody the screen!"

In our inaugural episode, we talk about the Troma classic (if you could call it that) "Beware! Children at Play". We share our thoughts and notes about the movie and then decide whether it should live in our beloved junk drawer for the rest of time, or be thrown on the funeral pyre to burn like hot garbage

Brett comes back just in time for a trip to the New Jersey bible belt to debate the finer points of cleavages, both front and back.
Welcome to another Friday Night Family Movie Night! Beware! Children at Play1hr 34mins | Horror | 1989 Well that happened... DJ and Justin just watched Beware Children at Play. And...Well...It's not so great. It is a slow boring movie that only picks up right at the end. Sure the topic of murdering demoniac crazy children is a fun idea to use in a movie but if you don't do anything with it then its pretty lousy. Hopefully the movie next time is a bit more enjoyable to watch, because even though this trailer looked amazing, the final product was just lame. CUTTING ROOM FLOOR Ep. 75 with Movie Background Ep. 75 without Movie Background :)
The Beef travels to small town USA where the citizens are holier than thou and the kids are hungry for attention. When kids and adults start to go missing in a small town, It’s up to a writer to figure out the puzzle of the “woodies” and how to keep these little bastards from filling their bellies. All this and mass genocide in Beware! Children At Play. From Troma! Of Course.
