Almost a decade ago, Scott Linebrink took a trip to Honduras with Water Mission. Joined by St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Adam Wainwright and Don Christensen of Ronald Blue Trust, the group was there to establish clean water resources for a country where they are scarce. Little did he knew that living in a nearby community was future major league player Mauricio Dubón, now with the Houston Astros. A fews after that trip, Dubón left Honduras to pursue his MLB career. Growing up, he had felt the effects of unclean drinking water, experiencing occasional illness because of it. Now an established big league player and a member of the Astros' 2022 World Series championship team, he caught wind of the trip that Linebrink and Wainwright took to help bring clean water to his community, and earlier this season he got to thank Wainwright in person for his efforts. He joins "Get in the Game" this week to reflect with Linebrink about his road to the major leagues as well as his encounter with Wainwright and how much it meant to him. This is Part 1 of a two-part series, with Wainwright rejoining the show next to share his version of the story and how much it impacted him. "Get in the Game" is part of the Sports Spectrum Podcast Network. The military service-member-advocacy group Protect Our Defenders said the Air Force has failed to fix racial disparity in its punishment process. From documents it obtained through Freedom of Information Act requests, the group alleges the Air Force hid work done by a committee set up to fix racial disparities in airmen punishment. The Air Force said it acknowledges implicit bias and says it's addressing it through training. It disputes the contention it sabotaged work addressing racial disparities. Federal News Network’s Scott Maucione spoke to the president of Protect Our Defenders, Don Christensen, for Federal Drive with Tom Temin.

So far, nearly all of the candidates have taken the pledge but four haven't: Donald Trump, Joe Biden, Mike Bloomberg and Joe Walsh. For more, Federal News Network's Scott Maucione spoke with Don Christensen, president of Protect Our Defenders, on Federal Drive with Tom Temin.
