Oh boy, so this can be a hot topic, yet regardless of your viewpoint on it there's a possibility your DM Is doing this right now and you're unawares. Yet, it is an important thing to discuss because fudging a dice roll can ruin the trust that is crucial between the players and the DM/GM throughout play. What happens if this trust is broken? When should you fudge dice rolls for D&D 5e or Pathfinder 2e? And is it worth it? We chat about this and much more!Patreon - https://www.patreon.com/dungeoncrawlnetworkOur links & Discord - https://linktr.ee/dungeoncrawlpod Donate if you're able to the one of your choice - https://twitter.com/Xepla/status/1497438043464249347Sound effects obtained from https://www.zapsplat.comAdditional sound effects obtained from https://www.audioblocks.com/and SynrinscapeMusic from https://filmmusic.io"Unseen Horrors" by Kevin MacLeod (https://incompetech.com)License: CC BY (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/)

In this exiting episode we sit down with Bradford Younie and dig into his two fudge based games “Now Playing” and “The Unexplained”. Now Playing is actually a great introduction to Fudge, it is essentially a basic Fudge build with guidelines for basing your campaign around the premise of a TV show. Bradford is very active in the Fudge community, so its far past time that I had him on.Early on I mention Ruby, the creator of Ascendancy, go checkout her kickstarter. You can join the Podcasts Facebook Group.Or catch us on the Discord.Pickup Bradford Younies games over at DriveThru (affiliate) or check them out on his website. You can also grab his new novel Bad Luck.Witchcraft is no longer available from the Eden Studios website, but it is available free of charge on Drivethru (affiliate). Thanks for listening. Here is an episode where I wax poetic about dice. I was trying a cardioid langolier mic, I'm debating if I like the audio quality of it. I'm testing it in hopes of doing some interviews over the phone soon. In this episode I'll talk about features of Fudge Dice, sources for these wondrous creatures, and alternatives to them. Additionally I talk a little about when not to roll them bones, and discuss the possibility of doing future liveplays to make the game more accessible.Links 4DF Probability Distribution (anydice) Grey Ghost Games Dice Eldritch Fate Dice Wiz Dice Terrestrial Mystical Q-workshops Poker Dice Deck of Fate (My Review on Youtube) Fudge Coins (Anydice) Princess Bride Quickstart Another Fine Mess Milkrun Podcast, 5th edition Shadowrun actual play Fudge Random Tables City System Vornheim Random Esoteric Creature Generator Starships and Spacemen (funny forehead alien generator) Psi-PunkSupport the show (https://ko-fi.com/plusorminus)

Come listen to episode 25 of Inter-Party Conflict! And while you're at it, wish my dog a happy birthday. Question(s) discussed: 1. Should the DM fudge dice rolls, and if so, when is it appropriate? 2. How do you address a DM who you feel has ruined an encounter by not so discreetly fudging rolls? 3. Are there any elements of D&D that you don't think fit into the setting? 4. What are your thoughts on the DM tracking [player] hit points and not relaying numbers to the players, but instead relying on vivid descriptions?
