Un véritable miracle, alors qu'il y a de moins en moins d'espoir de signes de vie après ce drame qui a fait plus de 2 500 morts et des dizaines de milliers de disparus dans le nord du pays. À ce bilan, il faut ajouter les déplacés qui ont tout perdu. Certains se sont réfugiés dans un stade de La Guaira où se sont rendus nos envoyés spéciaux, Mélissa Barra et Jad El Khoury. L'une des priorités des organisations humanitaires est d'apporter un soutien psychologique aux enfants. La colère gronde toujours au sein de la population, explique, pour sa part, Alice Campaignolle, correspondante de RFI à Caracas. Beaucoup considèrent le gouvernement responsable du retard des secours et de la gestion chaotique de la crise. Dans la zone la plus touchée, « les altercations entre survivants et forces de l'ordre se multiplient, les habitants trouvent que les fonctionnaires de police ou les militaires n'en font pas assez, qu'ils devraient être comme eux, sur les décombres, à chercher des survivants ou bien maintenant à extraire les corps », raconte la journaliste. Chaque jour, elles interpellent les sauveteurs internationaux avec l'ultime espoir de pouvoir leur donner une sépulture. Reportage de nos envoyés spéciaux Mélissa Barra et Jad El Khoury. En ligne depuis le Venezuela, Melissa Barra nous raconte les coulisses de ce reportage. « Dans la zone la plus sinistrée, la "zone 0", c'est le chaos », témoigne-t-elle. « Les forces de sécurité sont absentes. » La journaliste de RFI a dû servir de traductrice entre des familles à la recherche de leurs proches et des secouristes. Des Vénézuéliens affluent dans le désordre pour tenter de porter secours aux sinistrés. « Les équipes internationales ne peuvent pas déployer leurs équipements sonores destinés à localiser d'éventuels survivants tellement il y a de vacarme », explique encore Mélissa Barra.   La crise du logement au Canada Ce mercredi 1er juillet 2026, ce n'est pas seulement la fête nationale au Canada.
