McDonald's new AI ordering system ArchIQ is already getting tested in five US drive-thrus -- yeah after ditching the old IBM bot that kept screwing up orders they hooked up with Google Cloud to roll out this voice assistant that supposedly nails 90% of transactions with zero human help, pings managers on the fly, and sends orders straight to the kitchen while the real employees get "freed up" for window chats. Franchisees are hyped it cuts the chaos during peak hours but everyone else knows it's just another step toward replacing the kid taking your order with a glitchy chatbot that still can't handle accents or "no pickles" without a meltdown. The band quickly built a loyal following through relentless touring and a string of well-received releases.  Their sound balanced upbeat hooks with lyrics that captured the uncertainty and excitement of young adulthood.  Albums like A Collection of Short Stories and The End of an Error helped establish them as a favorite within the mid-2000s pop punk scene. It's Memorial Day weekend and the kick-off to summer! What are the plans for Kelly this summer with four kids at home? It's all about the R.E.P.S.! She doesn't know where she is going to put anything at this point, but really that excitement is really reserved for first time moms. It's a wedding weekend for Kelly and Lizz. Both with childhood friends, but different friends. Lizz is in the wedding and ready for everything that comes with it, pregnancy and all. The Car Moms are getting ready for Mother's Day. Of course, Lizz's day might not be all sunshine and flowers as this is the weekend she chose to potty train James. Hopefully it will all go her way. Later in the episode, Kelly and Lizz share what they REALLY want for Mother's Day this year. Speaking of James, he's about to turn three and Lizz has some BIG plans. Literally BIG plans as she is renting a dinosaur fossil activation. This could be the next major kid's birthday party activity.  Kelly has been in a content drought, lacking anything good to watch with her husband. That was till they discovered 'The Men Who Built America' and now she is hooked. Lizz on the other hand is completely obsessed with the new season of Running Point. But content watching really won't be a priority for Kelly in the next two weeks as she makes her way to D.C. to see something REALLY cool!  A really important question in today's Ditch the Drive-Thru: are we eating enough kabobs? That man is a suspect in Auglaize Counties only cold case - the murder of Roger Parent jr. Tonight in the Garage we walk through the basic facts of the Robbery/ Homicide case. Roger, only 33 years old, was the co-owner of P&S Carryout along with Larry Sullivan. He was discovered shot inside the carryout by a customer. He was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival. The Auglaize County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help to identify a man seen in the Drive-Thru / Carryout just before midnight that night. The sparkle is back on the podcast!  This week, Kelly is in full teacher appreciation mode as she puts together gifts for her kids' teachers. But who scheduled Nurse Appreciation Week and Teacher Appreciation week on the same week? Lizz is basking in the glow of the end of solo weekends with the kids, at least for the time being. Her final weekend without Matty taught her a big lesson for the future: the mall is a great place to entertain the kids! Panda Express, Barnes & Noble and a playground all in one indoor place? Yes please!   Drama erupted in the Stumpe household when Libby's ponytail suddenly appeared on the floor instead of on her head. Who cut it off? The answer will surprise you! At Lizz's house, she is in full potty training mode with James. So it's no surprise that the first items in her Last Three Transaction is all potty training related. Kelly, on the other hand, is experimenting with Amazon fashion finds.  In Industry News, Honda is pulling back on their EVs and relying on their tride and true models.    President Trump hosted a small business event at the White House Monday and one of the businesses featured was Slap's BBQ in KCK.  Joe Pearce, the owner, was there with staff.  The president was a little bit interested in the various sauces but mostly just asked the Slap's boys if Patrick Mahomes was going to be ok and start the season in week one.  This is so good.    A national hotel association says World Cup bookings are a disaster nationwide and KC is the worst of the worst.  Not only are 650k people not coming to KC... regular summer visitors are AVOIDING KC because of the World Cup.  Dang, if only a local podcaster could have warned officials this would happen.    A pair of drivers at Central Bank in Sugar Creek got quite a scare when the roof collapsed above them.    The Royals beat the Guardians with another great looking game, 6-2,  and have now won 8 out of 10.    The Chiefs sign 3 players out of 108 that tried out at Rookie Mini Camp... all at positions of need.  The Dallas Cowboys take an off season wedding photo for the ages and Stephen A Smith welcomes back an old partner this week at ESPN.

In the midst of tornado warnings, Kelly and Lizz are ready for a new episode of the Carpool. Kelly has been traveling extensively, leading to some new conclusions.
