The Easter Bunny will be here this weekend and there was talk of him bringing some friends to join the menagerie in the Stumpe house. While that idea has subsided, the ladies are still excited for the holiday and all the amazing brunch food it brings with it. The good news is that Kelly has perfected her hard-boiled eggs! Speaking of animals, Kelly and Lizz had a busy weekend taking the four young kids to the zoo solo. Luckily, the animals were on point and they used it as an opportunity to get their workout in. Since they're on the topic of zoos and the animals in them, it's time to talk about the jump scare that was Robert Irwin's thirst trap pictures on social media. If you were confused, you aren't the only one! Where is the family friendly zoo content? How do you store your kid's pajamas? Kelly discovered a new method this week that has changed the nighttime routine forever. It gets the ladies into a discussion on finding the best systems for your family and figuring out what works for you. Have a hamper in the kitchen? Fine! Laundry basket in the closet solely for donations? Do it! In Industry News, it's time to talk Cybertruck. Tesla has announced they will start selling a stripped version of the polarizing vehicle at massively reduced prices. Will it be enough to get them off the lot? Speaking of new cars we're getting our first look of the 2026 Hyundai Palisade and Kelly and Lizz have thoughts. Plus, the rumors of the 2026 Kia Telluride. Finally, in Ditch the Drive-Thru, Kelly and Lizz take back everything they said about Tyler's steak salad order because a good salad always slaps!

Back to new content after a fun and exciting time at GamerNation Con!!! Welcome to the second session of play for this short Monster of the Week game. We join in as Oaken, Myles, and Marcus have just come upon the unconscious body of Hecate, the goddess of the crossroads! So what do you do when you find an injured goddess (who also happens to be a mentor of yours)? As folks are I'm sure familiar, sometimes everyone just can't make it, so we just played with who was there! We recorded this in late spring of 2024, right before I had to switch shifts at work, so it was kind of a 'last hurrah' for the group that had kind of dubbed themselves "Those Guys". A big "Thank You!" to Ben for once again running the game, and to Terry, Eric, Hagen, and Steve for coming along for the fun! I hope you all enjoy! Happy Thursday and Happy birthday Tyler! This leads into a conversation on birthday traditions and what Kelly and Lizz's perfect birthday dinner would be. They also share their marriage advice of the day and reveal trauma from their dad's lectures. But the big thing they need to talk about is once again tariffs. This week, they have someone that can hopefully shed a little more light on the subject, Jenna from SmartHer News. She explains exactly what a tariff is and why it can affect so many things we buy every day. If the whole tariff conversation has you confused, this conversation is a must listen! Jenna is a journalist, so Kelly and Lizz take some time to also talk about her favorite news stories right now and how to find the truth in modern day media. Plus, what she's driving and her favorite Ditch the Drive-Thru dish!
The RPGBOT.Podcast team dives headfirst into the chaos, corruption, and cosmic bureaucracy of Warhammer: 40,000 - Imperium Maledictum—where your worst day in HR is just the beginning. Links Imperium Maledictum Core Rulebook (affiliate link) Starter Set (affiliate link) Imperium Maledictum Digitals on DriveThru (affiliate link) In this episode, the RPGBOT hosts take a deep dive into the dark, dystopian world of Warhammer 40,000 through the lens of its RPG adaptation, Imperium Maledictum. The conversation blends humorous banter with insightful analysis, offering listeners both entertainment and education. The hosts start with an overview of the setting's lore, including the Emperor's role, the brutal nature of the Imperium, and the ever-present threat of Chaos. They explore the concept of Grimdark, the loss of advanced technology, and the unique role of the Eldar as twisted space elves. The discussion covers how these elements shape the game's tone and influence character creation. Further into the episode, the group breaks down the game's mechanics, including its D100 system, critical injuries, corruption and mutation, psychic powers, and the use of factions and patrons. They also touch on gameplay themes, such as horror, political intrigue, and the struggle of ordinary individuals caught in a merciless galaxy. Throughout the episode, the hosts celebrate the flexibility of Imperium Maledictum, brainstorming campaign ideas and character concepts, while emphasizing that storytelling and narrative immersion are central to the experience. Key Segments: 1. Warhammer 40K Lore Overview The Emperor's role as a guiding force in interstellar navigation. Humanity's decline in the face of ancient alien threats and rogue AI. The dark, magical nature of the Warp and the emergence of Chaos Gods. Eldar as corrupted, tragic analogs of fantasy elves. The Imperium as a bureaucratic and religious nightmare. 2. The Grimdark Tone “In the grim darkness of the far future, there is only war” – and it shows. Every victory feels like a loss; choices often have no good outcomes. The concept of technological regression and lost knowledge. Humanity's struggle framed as a desperate survival in an uncaring universe. 3. Game Mechanics Uses a D100 system with degrees of success for outcomes. Initiative is fixed, reducing bookkeeping during combat. Critical injuries, healing, and long-term character impact. Mutation and corruption as central elements—both physical and narrative. Psykers (psychic users) are powerful but dangerous to use. 4. Setting of Imperium Maledictum Focuses on the Mecarion Sector, conquered by Solar Mecarion. Earth (Terra) is portrayed as a decaying industrial monolith. Patrons (influential NPCs) shape missions and character growth. Factions within the Imperium provide unique gameplay hooks. 5. Themes and Campaign Ideas Encourages stories beyond combat—mystery, horror, political drama. Game supports both serious and comedic storytelling styles. Emphasis on ordinary characters in extraordinary situations. Ideas floated include office politics in a hive city and noir-style investigation Key Takeaways: Imperium Maledictum is a spiritual successor to Dark Heresy, steeped in lore and focused on immersive storytelling. The Emperor is vital not just spiritually, but also functionally, enabling warp travel. Warhammer 40K's aesthetics are intentionally excessive and impractical. The setting has shaped, and been shaped by, decades of science fiction and fantasy. Characters are vulnerable—critical injuries, mutation, and corruption are ever-present. Psykers function like wizards, with significant risks attached to their powers. Patrons and factions provide narrative depth and mission structure. Combat is strategic and punishing, but narrative drives the gameplay. The game encourages creativity in character creation, campaign themes, and tone. Scenarios can range from horror to satire, showcasing the game's flexibility. Everywhere you look people are talking about Chat CPT and other AI technology. It can be a little scary, but can it be used for good? Kelly put Chat GPT to test to see if they could get any use out of it and had it write the podcast today! Did it give them any gems? It's first suggestion was to talk about chaos moments or funny kid quotes. While they couldn't think of any, it did bring up some drama at the library. Then, it suggested a segment called "What's in the Snack Bag?" which is basically Taste drive and Lizz brought a new viral snack for the ladies to try, frozen grapes. Spoilers: not a fan. Chat GPT then suggested Kelly and Lizz talk about pop culture headlines including stories on Katy Perry and Kim Kardashian, which is not really their thing. But it did bring up a good question - is anyone really a fan of Katy Perry? Next, Chat GPT suggested a segment called "Carpool Categories: What's In My Purse?" It sounds like a Instagram post from 5 years ago. But with the suggestion of "Currently Obsessed," it gave the ladies time to talk about red sneakers and how car care is self care. So it's not all bad. Before they wrap up the Chat GPT talk, Lizz has a suggestion from a Carpooler on alternate names for the "Ceiling Vent" segment from Chat CPT. Some of them are great, some not so much... But it could just be Lizz's delivery... Before they wrap up the episode, Kelly has breaking IIHS Safety Pick drama in Industry News. Then, it's Ditch the Drive-Thru with a possible super juicy chicken tender recipe and chuck roast tacos.

Another big week for the Car Mom as Kelly is headed off to Dallas for a big event. Lizz's pumping schedule made it too difficult to make the trip herself, but she has some big news of her own. She is finally a certified CPST! Is this big enough to change the Instagram bio? Driveway dumps are turning into Ceiling Vents and the ladies have a lot to talk about. First, Matty is writing a kid's book and it's enough to make any parent cry. It reminds the girls of how they would use rhymes to remember things as kids and how they are using it to teach their kids valuable life lessons. Then, Lizz shares some emails from listeners including the origin of the Jeep wave and a new bath of icks. Kelly has updates from the farm including their 25 new residents and an eczema update. It's time to talk tariffs in Industry News as new ones for the car industry are set to take effect on April 2nd. What cars will be affected and which ones won't? Kelly breaks it down for you. House work is happening at Lizz's house today on the podcast, and that's one of the drawbacks of living in an older neighborhood. But what do you get in a new development? Neighbor drama! Ever since Lizz moved her neighborhood has been drama free and she's kind of craving it. Can you help her out? It's been a slammed week for the ladies of the Carpool Podcast! Not only are there new roughs being put in, but they are making tons of content in the new Suburban and the Just Between Friends sale is BACK! But the biggest event is Lizz getting her CPST certification! It's also time to talk about what we're viewing. Lizz NEEDS to talk about the Drake and Josh reunion podcast and all the drama surrounding it. Kelly, on the other hand, is enjoying time with her own thoughts. But they both have plenty of suggestions for a listener who wrote in asking what girly shows to watch while her husband is on deployment. Kelly had a post go viral this week asking what car features are not worth the hype. There are going to be some hot takes here. The first one? Wireless Apple CarPlay is SO not worth it! Neither are wireless chargers! Finally, Kelly ended up in a video with Naptime Kitchen that turned into a "one of these things is not like the others" situation. In this 55th episode of 'Drive-Thru' Crew Chiefs Brad & Eric, along with their Executive Producer Tania share a mix of automotive news, personal anecdotes, and discussions about cars. Brad confesses to selling his Volkswagen due to ongoing maintenance issues and discusses his criteria for a future car purchase, sparking a debate about the merits of German vs. Japanese cars. The show then transitions into a discussion on Volkswagen news, notably the new Golf R and its varying performance characteristics. They move on to talk about the downsides of modern car features and subscriptions, highlighted by a review of Tesla's camera vs. LIDAR system. Welcome to the first session of play for this short Monster of the Week game. It all started with the McDonald's hot coffee case in 1994, and it still happens today. Customers who have sued and won over injuries resulting from spilled food and drink from restaurants at drive-thru windows. The latest, a $50 million jury award to a plaintiff who sued Starbucks over spilled hot tea, reminds Michael of an interview he conducted with Judy Allen, the daughter of the original McDonald's lawsuit plaintiff, Stella Liebeck. Hear that archive audio here as part of a conversation with NBC News / MSNBC Legal Analyst Danny Cevallos, examining several of these cases. Original air date 17 March 2025.

MDJ Script/ Top Stories for March 5th Publish Date: March 5th Commercial: From the BG Ad Group Studio, Welcome to the Marietta Daily Journal Podcast. Today is Wednesday, March 5th and Happy Birthday to Andy Gibb ***03.05.25 - BIRTHDAY – ANDY GIBB*** I’m Keith Ippolito and here are the stories Cobb is talking about, presented by Times Journal Early Voting in Cobb Commission Runoff Underway Cobb to Consider Gas Station, Drive-Thru on Austell Road Cobb and Douglas Public Health wants to expand services, but federal funding has grown more uncertain All of this and more is coming up on the Marietta Daily Journal Podcast, and if you are looking for community news, we encourage you to listen and subscribe! BREAK: Ingles Markets 5 STORY 1: Early Voting in Cobb Commission Runoff Underway Early voting for the March 11 runoff in Cobb County’s District 2 special primary election has begun, with Democrats Erick Allen and Dr. Jaha Howard competing for the seat formerly held by Jerica Richardson. Neither candidate secured over 50% in the February primary. Key voter concerns include zoning, transportation, and LGBTQ+ rights. Early voting runs through March 7 at two locations, with Election Day on March 11. The winner will face Republican Alicia Adams on April 28. The election redo, ordered after a court ruling on district maps, could cost taxpayers $1.5 million. STORY 2: Cobb to Consider Gas Station, Drive-Thru on Austell Road The Cobb County Planning Commission will review a proposal for a gas station, convenience store, retail spaces, and a drive-thru restaurant on Austell Road near Pat Mell Road. The 3.83-acre site will replace an existing water damage recovery business with two new buildings: a 5,000-square-foot convenience store with eight fuel stations and attached retail spaces, and a 2,200-square-foot fast-food restaurant. The convenience store will operate 24/7, while other spaces will run 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Zoning staff supports the plan, recommending a 20-foot landscape buffer and lighting plans to protect nearby residential areas. STORY 3: Cobb and Douglas Public Health wants to expand services, but federal funding has grown more uncertain Lisa Crossman, deputy director of Cobb and Douglas Public Health, is focused on improving health services in South Cobb, where many residents lack insurance, healthy food options, and mental health resources. Plans include a $17.5 million health center offering services like cancer screenings, mental health care, and a food pantry. Federal funding delays, including $3 million from Sen. Jon Ossoff, threaten the project’s timeline. Local nonprofits like Sweetwater Mission and the Center for Family Resources support the initiative, emphasizing its importance for underserved residents. Crossman is seeking alternative funding to avoid significant delays, aiming for a 2026 opening. We have opportunities for sponsors to get great engagement on these shows. Call 770.799.6810 for more info. Break: STORY 4: The Avenue West Cobb kicks off spring with first ever Bloom Campaign The Avenue West Cobb in Marietta is hosting BLOOM, a month-long eco-friendly event series from March 15 to April 22, celebrating spring and sustainable living. Highlights include: - **World Water Day** (March 22): Free water bottles, goodie bags, and donations benefiting Pure Water for the World, with a $100 gift card giveaway. - **Spring Fashion Preview** (March 24-28): Showcasing spring collections from retailers like J. Jill and Altar’d State, with giveaways and promotions. - **Spring Festival** (April 17): Family-friendly activities like an Easter egg drop, scavenger hunt, face painting, and a petting farm. Local artist Sheena Yoe will also display her spring-inspired art collection. Visit avenuewestcobb.com/bloom for details. STORY 5: High Court Upholds Conviction of Mableton Murderer The Georgia Supreme Court upheld the murder conviction of David Nesbit, who fatally shot Gregory Gabriel during a 2020 altercation at a Mableton gas station. Nesbit initiated the dispute, firing the first shot, while Gabriel, unable to flee, was struck twice and later died. Nesbit fled the scene but was arrested over a week later, indicted in 2021, and sentenced to 35 years in 2022. His appeal for a new trial, citing ineffective counsel and alleged prosecutorial misconduct, was denied, with the Supreme Court affirming the conviction on Tuesday. Break: STORY 6: 'A Social Thing': New Wine Tasting Room Coming to Austell Divinely Elegant Vines, a wine tasting room and bottle shop in downtown Austell, will open on March 15. Founded by Jessena and Michael Waldo, the space offers 12 wine varietals, locally-sourced charcuterie, and an intimate, educational wine experience. The 1,000-square-foot venue features dark red and black decor, an outdoor patio, and events like wine tastings, classes, and live entertainment. The Waldos aim to foster community and share their passion for wine, with plans to expand in the future. The grand opening includes live music, food, and wine giveaways. Visit www.divinelyelegantvines.com for details. STORY 7: Georgia Senate Republicans pass religious freedom law, raising concerns about discrimination The Georgia Senate passed the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (SB 36) on Tuesday in a 32-23 party-line vote. The bill requires courts to prioritize religious customs in disputes unless there’s a “compelling government interest.” Proponents, like Sen. Ed Setzler, argue it protects religious rights, citing cases from other states. Critics, including Sen. RaShaun Kemp, warn it could enable discrimination against LGBTQ individuals and others, as the bill lacks anti-discrimination protections. Similar legislation was vetoed in 2016 due to backlash from civil rights groups and businesses. SB 36 now heads to the Georgia House for consideration. It's a new week and spring is in the air! Well, at least it feels that way for the Car Mom... Before you know it though it will be summer and you have to figure out what to do with your kids while school is out. That is currently the journey Kelly is on as she decides if she wants to send them to daycare or camp. Unfortunately, there is no Camp Phineas and Ferb like the one the ladies ran when they were kids. That's right, Kelly and Lizz ran their own week long summer camp when they were teenagers made them some bank! Could this be your side hustle this summer? Speaking of things from the Disney universe, neither Kelly or Lizz have ever been to a Disney park but they feel like they could be Disney adults. They're both into the Disney adult content creators and have a love for the High School Musical soundtrack. Maybe one day? Lent starts this week and Kelly and Lizz are getting ready to give something up for the next 40 days. This year not only are they giving something up, but they want to do something to better themselves before Good Friday. But the real best of lent season? The fish fry!! It's been a while since Kelly and Lizz checked in with their bank accounts for Last Three Transactions. Kelly is getting ready for a family trip to Arizona by stocking up on Tea Collection clothes for the kids and lots of activities and toys for the plane. Plus, she got some Crocs for herself and she's very excited about it! Meanwhile, Lizz has had her life completely changed thanks to the Haakaa breast pump and the Athleta pale yellow collection. There are two juicy stories in Industry News. First, Carvana is making moves into the franchise business with the purchase of a Stellantis store. Then, why the Honda and Nissan merger may be donezo! Finally, as we head into Lent a quick reminder of a solid Ditch the Drive-Thru favorite. If fish will be a staple for you the next 40 days, it's time to break out the salmon sushi bowl recipe! I don't do talk about chain restaurants much on this podcast. I tend to be more of a fan of mom and pop local spots. But I've always appreciated that Chipotle uses fresh natural ingredients. I don't know if all their menu offerings are 100% organic, but I do know they make an effort to use less science and chemicals in their food compared to other national fast food establishments. When I heard they were getting into the drive thru game to accommodate our American laziness, I had to drop by to check it out.

Speaking of things that are trending on the internet right now, what is the trending food currently? It's all about combo protein and energy drinks on our timeline. Kelly and Lizz are back together in the same place to record the podcast! But this may be the last time it happens for a while. Why? It's all about efficiency in 2025!
