Hayley Pace – Artistic Director, Playwright, Performer, DesignerHayley Pace is an award-winning performer from Kitchener, Ontario. She is a graduate of the Devised Theatre & Design programs at York University and since has worked internationally in Antwerp, Prague, Edinburgh Minneapolis and New York. Her storytelling shows include the The Teeny Tiny Music Show and High School Symphony which have played in various venues and festivals throughout Ontario. Other devised work includes A Language for Dogs and Paperweight at the Hamilton Fringe Festival. Other performances include RENT, The Beggar’s Opera and Curtains. Set design credits include set for Peep! (Nuit Blanche/Theatre Panik), and Hamletmachine (Theatre@York). Costume design credits include The Village Green (Applebox Film Company/Rockzeline) and Plato’s Atlantis (Canada’s National Ballet School). Thomason, and Broadway and television star, Tovah Feldshuh.Daniel Walsh – Musical Director, Composer, Arranger, Sousaphone, Bass Guitar Daniel Walsh is a York University trained multi-instrumentalist based out of Toronto, Canada. He built the beginnings of his career as a street performer and the founder of Turbo Street Funk in 2010 where he served as the manager, arranger, front man and composer for the group for 3 years. Du gras, du sucre, du croustillant. Cette semaine dans Bouffons, il est question de poulet frit dans nos fourneaux et sur nos écrans. En première partie d'émission, vous pourrez entendre la voix de Lionel, fondateur du restaurant Gumbo Yaya qui s'est spécialisé dans la Soul Food, la cuisine du sud des Etats Unis. Il y sert notamment de délicieux morceaux de poulet frit entouré de deux gaufres moelleuses. Ensemble, ils ont parlé raconté l’histoire de ce plat venu du sud des Etats Unis, en évoquant notamment une histoire de jazzmen. Lionel a également dévoilé un peu de sa recette secrète.En deuxième partie d'épisode, Guilhem a reçu le journaliste Yérim Sar (à partir de 19:15) pour parler de la représentation du poulet dans la pop culture, et de l'association quasi systématique faite entre le poulet et les afro-descendants. Ils ont ainsi évoqué la récurrence de ce plat dans les films, les discours marketing souvent très maladroits et la question de la réappropriation de ce cliché.
