In our first Munchies' choice episode back from the break, we were gifted a delightful stunt-cast-isode featuring one of the true titans of stage and screen. Yes folks, this SVU features none other than the modern voice of Shaggy Rogers himself, Matthew Lillard, in a, how shall we say, difficult role for him opposite some nobody casting pulled in off the street named Carol Burnett. We also see not Judge Al Bertuccio get defenestrated into a parked car, Fin casually dropping slang from the 1930's into conversation, and the writers' room creating new ethnic slurs from scratch. This one gets a hearty recommendation. What this delightful episode of SVU lacks in terms of coherent three-act structure or thoughtful character development is more than made up for by the absolute cavalcade of bonkers plot lines and instantly recognizable famous people. Ann-Margret justifiably won an Emmy for her turn as the perma-drunk Rita Wills. William Goddamn Atherton plays a petulant serial killer! Morgan Fairchild gets about 30 seconds of screen time! Liv and Elliot get propositioned for a threesome! The duo recounts their stops at some of the most talked-about booths this season, including *Gyozas of the Galaxy*, *India*, *Greece*, and the perfectly cozy *Milled and Mulled* stand. They discuss the dishes that stood out, the flavors that surprised them the most, and how the festival atmosphere continues to make EPCOT one of the most exciting parks to visit during the holiday season. As they savored delicious bites and drinks, Remy and Jen also caught a high-energy live performance by **Big Bad Voodoo Daddy**, bringing that swingin' holiday flair to the American Gardens Theatre. Between the music, the food, and the festive spirit, their visit to the festival perfectly captured the essence of the season at Walt Disney World.Next, Jen takes the mic for her always-enlightening segment, **This Week in Disney History**. In this week's historical spotlight, Jen dives into a fascinating moment from the 1950s when **Walt Disney appeared as a guest on the popular television game show “What's My Line?”** It's a piece of Disney history that many fans may not know, giving listeners a glimpse into how Walt's charm and humor captivated audiences beyond the theme parks. Jen breaks down how appearances like these helped shape Disney's image as both an innovator and an entertainer during a time when television was still finding its footing. Then, Remy brings on the chills with his segment, **Ride of the Week**, focusing on one of Disney's most beloved and legendary attractions — **The Haunted Mansion**. Remy explores the ride's history, from its early development by Walt Disney and his Imagineers to the timeless storytelling that keeps guests coming back for more. He highlights the unforgettable work of voice actor **Paul Frees**, the “Ghost Host” who gave life (or death!) to the attraction's haunting personality. Remy also shares some eerie fun facts, creative design details, and his personal connection to this classic ride that continues to define Disney's dark side of fun. Finally, **Mike** wraps things up with another mouthwatering edition of **Mike's Munchies**, this time featuring **Jiko – The Cooking Place** at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. So pour yourself a festive drink, kick back, and join **Remy, Jen, and Mike** for another magical, delicious, and slightly spooky edition of **Remy's Roundtable: The Florida Theme Park Podcast**.
In a raucous ride filled with twists and turns that only the Neal Baer years of SVU can deliver, the Unit first catches a dead baby in a bag in a gutter and ends up with two different perps going down for two very different crimes one of which is ripped from not one, but two different headlines. Featuring dives into West Nile Virus, the origins of the UK's Anatomy Act 1832, and subdermal tubes filled with other people's blood used to juke blood tests, this one has a lot going on, and that has nothing to do with how this Season 5, Episode 5 "Serendipity" will forever reframe how you look at honey.Sources:The use of insects in forensic investigations: An overview on the scope of forensic entomology - National Library of Medicine, PubMed CentralBurke and Hare Murders - WikipediaMusic:Divorcio Suave - “Munchy Business”Thanks to our gracious Munchies on Patreon: Jeremy S, Jaclyn O, Amy Z, Diana R, Tony B, Barry W, Drew D, Nicky R, Stuart, Jacqi B, Natalie T, Robyn S, Amy A, Sean M, Jay S, Briley O, Asteria K, Suzanne B, Tim Y, John P, John W, Elia S, Rebecca B, Lily, Sarah L, Melsa A, Alyssa C, Johnathon M, Tiffany C, Brian B, Whitney C, Alex, Jannicke HS, Erin M, Florina C, Melissa H, Olivia, Holly F, Karina H, Zak B, and Karyn R - y'all are the best!Be a Munchie, too! Sadly, this week the Season 13 writing staff unapologetically trashed the second largest city in the state that SVU calls home. We've seen this show look askance at lesser states and provinces across the continent, but the glee with which this episode implies that Buffalonians will stop at nothing to ensure that their own children grow up in unsafe homes is truly shocking. Josh and Adam, of course, talk early childhood education, examine the films of Satyajit Ray and Michael Cimino, describe bottomless brunches and lil' squeezers, and plumb the depths of Rollins's depraved backstory. On this episode of **Remy's Roundtable: The Florida Theme Park Podcast**, hosts **Remy** and **Mike** return to the mic to bring you another entertaining and news-packed conversation straight from the heart of Florida's theme park scene. The episode kicks off with Remy recounting his most recent adventure at **Disney's Hollywood Studios**, where he spent the day exploring attractions with a close friend. The day was filled with laughter, great memories, and perhaps a few too many drinks under the blazing Florida sun. Things took an unexpected turn during the **1:15 p.m. showing of the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular**, where the combination of heat, excitement, and cocktails proved to be a little too much for Remy — resulting in a rather unforgettable (and slightly embarrassing) moment. It's a story you don't want to miss, and one that perfectly captures the unpredictable magic of a theme park day in Florida. From there, the conversation shifts into a fun seasonal topic as Remy dives into the world of **Halloween candy trends**. He discusses which sweet treats trick-or-treaters are craving most this year and how some of the most popular options are surprisingly pricey. The discussion turns into a nostalgic trip down memory lane, as both hosts reminisce about their favorite childhood candies and share how Halloween in Florida hits differently when palm trees instead of pumpkins surround you.Next, the Roundtable brings listeners **The Latest Theme Park Updates**, filled with fresh headlines and major changes happening around Central Florida. Over at **Orlando International Airport**, big transformations are underway — the existing Terminals A, B, and C will be rebranded as Terminals 1, 2, and 3 as part of a decade-long modernization project. This plan also includes new technology upgrades, additional parking, and even a hotel on the property to enhance the traveler experience for millions of guests each year. The discussion continues with updates from the world of Disney. The Disability Access Service (DAS) program is once again making headlines with its updated requirements, sparking a lot of conversation among parkgoers. The team breaks down what these changes mean for guests and how they could affect the guest experience moving forward. In addition, **Disney Annual Passholders** have something new to smile about — renewed **discount offers** that become available after a pass expires, giving fans another reason to keep the magic going all year long. For this week's **Ride of the Week**, Remy takes listeners on a nostalgic trip back in time to celebrate **Back to the Future Day** (October 21st). He revisits the groundbreaking **Back to the Future: The Ride** attraction that once thrilled guests at Universal Studios Florida. Remy shares fascinating behind-the-scenes details about the attraction's development, including its impressive cost, making it one of the most expensive and ambitious rides ever built in the 1990s. He explores how the ride revolutionized motion-simulator technology and why it remains a cherished part of Universal's legacy today. To wrap things up, **Mike's Munchies** takes the show to a galaxy far, far away — straight to **Oga's Cantina** in **Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge** at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Mike gives Remy the full Batuu experience, sampling exotic drinks like the Fuzzy Tauntaun and Bespin Fizz while soaking in the immersive theming of the famous cantina. Together, they discuss the food, the ambiance, and what makes Oga's one of the most talked-about destinations for both casual guests and hardcore Star Wars fans.So grab your favorite drink, power up your flux capacitor, and tune in as **Remy and Mike** bring you another round of laughter, nostalgia, and insider updates on this jam-packed episode of **Remy's Roundtable: The Florida Theme Park Podcast** — your gateway to all things Florida theme parks!https://linktr.ee/remysroundtable
As we are getting back into the swing of recording again, the randomizer blessed us with a bonkers season 2 episode of SVU which features misplaced Jets fandom, Cuban Stars baseball lore, and the Bruneian consular website. Watch as this mom dismantles family after family on her way to the clink. Though "Turmoil" (S11E8) was not the best SVU in the series, this slapped together melange of homoerotic fan service, intra-Stabler household drama, impossible travel times, and substandard professional ethics does provide the Munch My Benson boys with plenty of food for thought: Did Dickie Stabler kill Bin Laden? Just how many bodies did Elliot drop this episode? Get ready for another exciting, laughter-filled adventure on **Remy's Roundtable: The Florida Theme Park Podcast**, the show where Florida's most passionate theme park fans come together to talk about all things Disney, Universal, SeaWorld, and beyond! On this episode, **Remy** is joined by **Mike** and **Nicole**, while **Jen** takes the night off to recharge before the big anniversary celebration coming soon. But even with one seat empty at the Roundtable, the energy was sky-high — and the stories? Absolutely unforgettable. The episode began with Remy proudly sharing some spicy news that had everyone cheering: he officially placed **2nd in a chili competition** hosted by **Real Radio 104.1** as part of *The Jim Colbert Show's* Listener's Challenge! The team congratulated him for representing *Remy's Roundtable* in style — proving that he's not only a theme park expert but also a master of flavor. Remy described the competition experience with excitement and gratitude, from the smoky spices to the crowd's energy, and of course, the thrill of taking home that second-place finish. After the cheers and laughter, the Roundtable switched gears to the **latest theme park updates**, and this week's big story came straight from the heart of Walt Disney World. Disney has once again **raised its ticket prices**, including both **single-day admission** and **annual passes**. Remy, Mike, and Nicole dove deep into what this means for park guests, especially families planning their magical vacations. They discussed the reasons behind the price increase, the possible effects on crowd levels, and whether the Disney experience still justifies the cost. Nicole shared some insightful thoughts on Disney's strategy and how the value of the parks continues to evolve, while Mike didn't hold back with his honest foodie's perspective on getting the most bang for your buck inside the parks.Next up, it was time for **Ride of the Week**, where Remy took the team — and listeners — on a nostalgic journey back to **EPCOT's golden era** inside the **Wonders of Life Pavilion**. The featured attraction was none other than the beloved and educational classic **Cranium Command**. The trio relived the clever storytelling, hilarious voice acting, and heartfelt message that made this attraction so unique. They discussed the genius behind its concept — a journey inside the human mind led by Buzzy, a tiny pilot with a big attitude. The group reflected on how the ride combined humor, science, and creativity in true EPCOT fashion. Of course, Remy led the tribute with a passionate, “**Long live Buzzy!**” reminding fans everywhere just how special that little animatronic still is in Disney history. And what better way to close the show than with some mouthwatering food talk? In this week's edition of **Mike's Munchies**, Mike treated Remy to a culinary experience at the **Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort**, where the two explored one of its signature **sushi restaurants**. With detailed flavor descriptions and a dash of humor, Mike guided listeners through the menu, pointing out the must-try rolls, appetizers, and drinks that make this hidden gem a must-visit for any sushi lover. Remy added his own foodie take, comparing textures, flavors, and atmosphere — and together, they painted such a vivid picture that you could almost taste the soy sauce and wasabi through your headphones! Before wrapping up, Remy shared a heartfelt reminder for all listeners to **mark their calendars for October 15th**, as *Remy's Roundtable* prepares to celebrate its **6th Anniversary Episode!** Six years of laughter, theme park history, interviews, music, trivia, and unforgettable friendships. The Roundtable team has grown, evolved, and connected with fans across Florida and beyond — and this milestone promises to be one of their most special episodes yet.
Jason is joined by Kyle Bowles (Senior Executive Chef at Grand Casino Arena) who knows he can't show up to his appearance empty handed. They chat about the transformation from the X to Grand Casino Arena and the 46 new foods they have on menu for the upcoming Minnesota Wild season. They talk about how they're partnering with some local businesses to feature their cuisine in the arena and how deals like these come about. Not everything is available everywhere in the arena so Kyle walks through what levels you can access the new goodies.
It's been a while folks, but the Munchie Boys are officially back on the horse. No, not H. The figurative horse that having a child can buck you from. And how are Adam and Josh repaid for their long overdue return to actively podcasting about Law & Order: SVU? Well, once you move past the fact that they basically had a three-minute commercial for the podcast on primetime network television, they had to watch an episode that avid gamer Ice-T has since distanced himself from. Yes, it's time to revisit Gamergate, one of the dumbest incidents in our timeline that somehow seems more and more germane to the world in which we live with each passing day.Music:Divorcio Suave - “Munchy Business”Thanks to our gracious Munchies on Patreon: Jeremy S, Jaclyn O, Amy Z, Diana R, Tony B, Barry W, Drew D, Nicky R, Stuart, Jacqi B, Natalie T, Robyn S, Amy A, Sean M, Jay S, Briley O, Asteria K, Suzanne B, Tim Y, John P, John W, Elia S, Rebecca B, Lily, Sarah L, Melsa A, Alyssa C, Johnathon M, Tiffany C, Brian B, Kate K, Whitney C, Alex, Jannicke HS, Roni C, Erin M, Florina C, Melissa H, Olivia, Holly F, and Karina H - y'all are the best!Be a Munchie, too! The whole crew is back together—Remy, Jen, Mike, and Nicole—for another lively round of theme park conversations, history, food, and Disney fun.The show kicks off with a fun **vacation planning challenge** where Remy gave Jen, Mike, and Nicole several Disney vacation tiers to choose from: Budget, Moderate, Deluxe, and of course, the ultimate VIP experience. Each host weighed in on what their trip would look like for a 5-day Disney getaway, breaking down what you'd spend depending on the level of luxury you want out of your visit. From value-minded travelers to those who dream of five-star perks, the team compared what's realistic and what's over the top when it comes to planning a Disney trip.Next up, Remy guided everyone through **The Latest Theme Park Updates.** Among the highlights: Loungefly backpacks have officially climbed to $90, sparking the crew's reactions on whether these stylish park essentials are still worth the splurge. Plus, Jen shared which upcoming Florida seasonal event she's most excited to check out this year, giving listeners ideas for fun outings outside of the parks. In **This Week in Disney History**, the Roundtable paused to celebrate two of the most important anniversaries in Walt Disney World history: the grand openings of both **Magic Kingdom** and **EPCOT.** The team reflected on what these parks have meant to generations of visitors and how they continue to define Disney magic today. For this week's **Ride of the Week**, Remy dove deep into the history of **Disney's Pleasure Island**, the nighttime entertainment district that became a legend among Disney fans. Not only did he cover fascinating facts about its clubs and atmosphere, but he also shared his personal connection—memories of performing live at the iconic Jazz Club with his dad and his band, Groove Logic. It's a nostalgic trip back to when Pleasure Island was the place to be after the parks closed.Hungry? You'll want to tune in for **Mike's Munchies**, where the Foodie King himself took us to **The Boathouse at Disney Springs.** Mike walked through the menu highlights, from appetizers to entrées, drinks, and desserts, while also giving a taste of the waterfront dining experience that makes The Boathouse a must-visit for Disney Springs guests. And as always, Remy calculated the grand total for one person to give listeners a real-world look at what dining there will cost you. Finally, the episode wraps up with **Getting Nerdy with Nicole,** where our resident science geek breaks down the fascinating world of **theme park ride restraints.** Nicole explained how these safety systems are engineered to keep guests secure while still allowing for the thrills and excitement of modern attractions. From lap bars to over-the-shoulder harnesses, she explained why different rides employ different types of restraints and how these designs are crucial to the overall ride experience. From budgeting a dream Disney trip to delving into park history, exploring Disney Springs dining, and uncovering the science behind making rides possible, this episode is a jam-packed mix of knowledge, fun, nostalgia, and laughs. It's all here, and it's all part of **Remy's Roundtable: The Florida Theme Park Podcast**—your go-to show for everything Florida theme parks.

That concern was UNFOUNDED with regards to “Motherly Love” (S18E10)—which is a banger in every sense of the word. After having seen nearly 500 episodes of SVU and recorded now 77 episodes of a podcast about the show, it's safe to say that the Munchie Boys have been subjected to some unimaginably shocking things, yet this episode still dropped their jaws with its brazen impropriety. So listen as Adam and Josh revel in a truly disturbing exploration of motherhood in its darkest form. Adam's Paternity Leave is nearly over, but while we still have a couple weeks left, let's look at the last of a pair of episodes featuring a very tall Emmy winner of yore. A few resourceful new Munchies figured out a work-around where you can join as a free member and upgrade from there to a paid account which charges you for one month and unlocks the back catalog behind the respective tier of the paywall. If you want more content and can't wait until we've fully unlocked everything next month, you can jump in ahead of our return in October. The Munchie Boys pick up where they left off last week, trudging through the murk as Ray's tall brother faces the fallout from having been charged as a serial rapist while the Correction Officers' Benevolent Association possibly threatens Barba's life for having the temerity to come after one of their guys. This fallout includes the first—and thus far, only—time an officer on the Unit dies in the line of duty, which gives Adam and Josh quite a bit to mull over while wondering why the stakes were lowered so much before offing him. Any episode that has Chekhov's gun go off while also not having Chekhov's gun go off means there's going to be plenty of plot discussion to be had. There are also plenty of discussions about the typically insane things that SVU forces one to reckon with, namely intimidation wizards, phantom door-locking chicanery, the hilarity of needing apple boxes in hostage shoots, and much, much more.Music:Divorcio Suave - “Munchy Business”Thanks to our gracious Munchies on Patreon: Jeremy S, Jaclyn O, Amy Z, Diana R, Tony B, Barry W, Drew D, Nicky R, Stuart, Jacqi B, Natalie T, Robyn S, Amy A, Sean M, Jay S, Briley O, Asteria K, Suzanne B, Tim Y, John P, John W, Elia S, Rebecca B, Lily, Sarah L, Melsa A, Alyssa C, Johnathon M, Tiffany C, Brian B, Kate K, Whitney C, Alex, Jannicke HS, Roni C, Erin M, Florina C, Melissa H, and Olivia - y'all are the best!Be a Munchie, too! Adam's Paternity Leave is near its end, but while we still have a few weeks left of it, let's look at the first of a pair of episodes (we'll pick up the second installment next week) featuring a key Emmy presenter from last night. A few resourceful new Munchies have figured out a work-around where you can join as a free member and upgrade from there to a paid account which charges you for one month and unlocks the back catalog behind the respective tier of the paywall. After that first payment, you won't be charged again until we're dropping new content (which we'll warn everyone is coming), so if you want more of this it can be had, along with access to the fully uncut episodes from 100 to present and Movie Club episodes.Hot on the heels of an episode that nearly broke our rating scale, the Munchie Boys watched Part 1 of a two-parter featuring Ray Romano's kooky brother Robert from the hit turn-of-the-century sitcom for olds, Everybody Loves Raymond. Fans of that show will remember that the actor in question, Brad Garrett, is really, REALLY tall. This causes the kind of continuity problems that only SVU can create. We're obviously talking about complex genital geometry problems. We would, of course, be remiss if our discussion stayed on topic, so expect to hear about Chinese New Year, more car talk from Josh, Rikers Island, and Predator.Sources:A Look Inside Rikers - NY TimesMusic:Divorcio Suave - “Munchy Business”Thanks to our gracious Munchies on Patreon: Jeremy S, Jaclyn O, Amy Z, Diana R, Tony B, Barry W, Drew D, Nicky R, Stuart, Jacqi B, Natalie T, Robyn S, Amy A, Sean M, Jay S, Briley O, Asteria K, Suzanne B, Tim Y, John P, John W, Elia S, Rebecca B, Lily, Sarah L, Melsa A, Alyssa C, Johnathon M, Tiffany C, Brian B, Kate K, Whitney C, Alex, Jannicke HS, Roni C, Erin M, Florina C, Melissa H, and Olivia - y'all are the best!Be a Munchie, too! On this episode of **Remy's Roundtable: The Florida Theme Park Podcast**, the Roundtable is packed with fun, updates, and a little bit of nerdy lightning science as **Remy, Jen, Mike, and Nicole** all come together for a lively discussion. This week is extra special because **Nicole is officially back on the Roundtable**, bringing her energy, insight, and her fan-favorite segment to the mix.The episode begins with **The Latest Theme Park Updates**, where Remy and Jen dive into the newest happenings across Florida's parks. From attraction announcements to construction progress, the big headline of the week is all about **the awards season for theme parks**. Listeners will hear which rides and attractions stood out this year, and it turns out that **Universal's Epic Universe dominated the competition**, walking away with the majority of the honors. Remy and Jen break down exactly what made those attractions stand out and why Epic Universe is already shaking up the industry even before its grand opening.Next up, **Jen takes us back in time with her beloved segment, This Week in Disney History**. She pulls fascinating stories, key milestones, and unforgettable moments from Disney's long and magical past. Whether it's the opening of a classic attraction, the release of a legendary film, or an important turning point for the parks, Jen always manages to bring the perfect blend of trivia and storytelling to give Disney fans their history fix. After that, it's time for Remy to shine with the **Ride of the Week** segment, and this week he takes us under the sea with **Journey to Atlantis (JTA)** at SeaWorld Orlando. Remy not only shares details about the attraction's history, theming, and thrill factor, but he also brings in his own personal experience—because he actually **worked on Journey to Atlantis during his time at SeaWorld**. From behind-the-scenes stories to Imagineering-style details about the hybrid water coaster/dark ride, this segment offers listeners a ride-through both as a fan and as a cast member who got to see the attraction up close every day.Normally, this would be the spot for **Mike's Munchies**, where Mike highlights a theme park restaurant and breaks down the menu, but don't worry—it's only on pause for this episode. Instead, since Nicole is back, we decided to move her signature segment, **Getting Nerdy with Nicole**, up in the rotation. And she didn't disappoint! Nicole digs into the fascinating (and slightly scary) topic of **lightning in Florida's theme parks**. If you've ever wondered about how lightning affects attractions, guests, and even some of the most iconic park landmarks, this is the segment for you. Nicole even shares the shocking story of **August 5th at Magic Kingdom**, when **Cinderella Castle was struck by lightning**, reminding us just how powerful Florida's weather can be.From **epic award winners** to **lightning strikes on castles**, from a **mythical SeaWorld adventure** to the **quirks of Disney history**, this episode has it all. So grab your headphones, settle in, and get ready for another electrifying, magical, and fun-filled ride with the crew on **Remy's Roundtable: The Florida Theme Park Podcast**.
Adam's Paternity Leave continues, but there's light at the end of the tunnel, so let's get conspiratorial. Patreon payments are frozen for the time being. A few resourceful new Munchies have figured out a work-around where you can join as a free member and upgrade from there to a paid account which charges you for one month and unlocks the back catalog behind the respective tier of the paywall. Well, the Munchie crew does their level best to answer this question and many many more as they watched "Real Fake News" (s18e17). Do you want to know what a teenaged Adam was watching at 1 in the morning on Austin cable access? Welcome back to another fun-filled episode of Remy's Roundtable: The Florida Theme Park Podcast! This week, the Roundtable kicks things off with some mouthwatering talk as Remy asks Jen and Mike to share their favorite spots to grab a cheeseburger in Florida. From sit-down restaurants inside the theme parks to hidden local gems, the crew swaps stories about juicy patties, melty cheese, and those can't-miss toppings. They even dive into which fast food chains serve up the best quick cheeseburger fix when the craving hits. It's the perfect way to get hungry before jumping into all the theme park action! After the foodie fun, Remy covers The Latest Theme Park Updates with some major news from Walt Disney World. Over at Magic Kingdom, fans of the beloved classic Carousel of Progress will soon experience something truly special — the attraction is set to feature a brand-new Walt Disney animatronic at the very beginning of the ride. This exciting update will give guests a chance to see Walt himself welcome them into his timeless vision of progress, blending nostalgia with innovation in true Disney fashion. And if that wasn't enough, Cinderella Castle is preparing to roll back the clock with a stunning refresh: the park has announced that the castle will return to its classic blue and gray color scheme, a look longtime Disney fans will remember fondly from decades past. The updates continue with some bittersweet news out of Disney's Animal Kingdom. The Roundtable discusses the official closure announcement for the beloved but sometimes controversial attraction, DINOSAUR. After thrilling guests since 1998 with its time-traveling jeep ride back to the prehistoric age, the attraction will roar for the last time on February 1, 2026. That gives fans just over a year to make their final journey into the late Cretaceous era. The crew reflects on the ride's legacy, its unique thrills, and what its closure could mean for the future of Dinoland U.S.A.Next, it's time for another delicious edition of Mike's Munchies, where Mike takes the Roundtable to Summer House on the Lake at Disney Springs. Known for its bright, airy atmosphere and California-inspired menu, this spot offers everything from refreshing cocktails to indulgent desserts. Mike builds a full dining experience — an appetizer, entrée, drink, and dessert — and by the time the check arrives, the grand total rings up to $116 for one person. The Roundtable debates whether the price tag matches the experience, and Mike shares his take on whether Summer House should be added to your must-visit Disney Springs dining list. Then, buckle up for this week's Ride of the Week, as Remy shines a spotlight on Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Remy dives deep into the history of this high-speed indoor coaster, from its groundbreaking launch system that propels guests from 0 to 60 mph in just a few seconds, to the ride's unique partnership with legendary rock band Aerosmith. He shares Imagineering details, fun facts, and why this ride remains a fan-favorite after more than two decades. Remy also talks about his own recent visit to Hollywood Studios, where, during his day off around 5:20 p.m., a thunderstorm rolled in and shut down nearly every attraction in the park — a classic Florida theme park experience that locals and visitors alike can relate to!From burgers and dining adventures to theme park history and future updates, this episode of Remy's Roundtable: The Florida Theme Park Podcast is packed with everything fans love about the Florida parks. Whether you're a Disney diehard, a coaster junkie, or just someone who loves discovering great eats in and around Orlando, this episode has something for you.So grab your favorite snack, settle in, and join Remy, Jen, and Mike as they talk food, fun, thrills, and farewells in another can't-miss edition of Remy's Roundtable: The Florida Theme Park Podcast.https://linktr.ee/remysroundtable
What happens when the edibles hit harder than expected? Adam's Paternity Leave continues, so why not cross the jump right back to where the Randomizer kicked us out to immediately after we did the three-part mega-Cragenisode? Patreon payments are frozen for the time being. A few resourceful new Munchies have figured out a work-around where you can join as a free member and upgrade from there to a paid account which charges you for one month and unlocks the back catalog behind the respective tier of the paywall. After that first payment, you won't be charged again until we're dropping new content (which we'll warn everyone is coming), so if you want more of this it can be had, along with access to the fully uncut episodes from 100 to present and Movie Club episodes.Praise be to the SVU Gods and the Randomizer because this week's Munchstallment “Russian Brides” has it all. The seventh ep from Season 13 not only thrusts a rusty Captain Cragen into undercover duty for the first time since before Cabot and Amaro were born, but it also traumatizes you with way-too-specific details as to what our vic went through before perishing. Add to that the unrealized prospect of high-end koozies, the irony of nicknaming a neighborhood Odessa by the Sea when the O.G. Odessa is in fact by the sea, a journey into the daunting world of the vory v zakone, and the fact this this episode feeds directly into the huge three-parter we just spent the past three weeks poring over, and you've got the recipe for a very tasty Cragenisode with a blini and a heaping portion of Captain Don's bottomless pit of sorrow.Music:Divorcio Suave - “Munchy Business”Thanks to our gracious Munchies on Patreon: Jeremy S, Jaclyn O, Amy Z, Diana R, Tony B, Barry W, Drew D, Nicky R, Stuart, Jacqi B, Natalie T, Robyn S, Amy A, Sean M, Jay S, Briley O, Asteria K, Suzanne B, Tim Y, John P, John W, Elia S, Rebecca B, Lily, Sarah L, Melsa A, Alyssa C, Johnathon M, Tiffany C, Brian B, Kate K, Whitney C, Alex, Jannicke HS, Roni C, Nourhane B, Erin M, Florina C, Melissa H, and Olivia - y'all are the best!Be a Munchie, too! This televised love song to Dann Florek provided so much material for Josh and Adam that it had to be broken up into roughly equal parts. Adam's Paternity Leave continues, so let's get dark and problematic this week. Patreon payments are frozen for the time being. A few resourceful new Munchies have figured out a work-around where you can join as a free member and upgrade from there to a paid account which charges you for one month and unlocks the back catalog behind the respective tier of the paywall. After that first payment, you won't be charged again until we're dropping new content (which we'll warn everyone is coming), so if you want more of this it can be had, along with access to the fully uncut episodes from 100 to present and Movie Club episodes.Mere weeks after covering its successor in the Baby Doe Parentage Saga, the Randomizer selected “Undercover Mother” (Season 16, Episode 15) for the Munchie Boys to cover. Undercover Mother is frankly an insufficient moniker to give this episode, as another mother goes undercover for our undercover mother, along with most of the rest of the Unit. Insanity reins supreme as SVU's undercover op interferes with Declan Murphy's own undercover op, one in which he's working on taking down the brutal Johnny D but not without showing that he's in so deep that he's basically a human trafficker himself. We talk the careers of Lili Taylor and Donal Logue, the history of the defunct Creedmoor Psychiatric Center, Eric Adams's purported sleep schedule, SVU's love for undercover ops, and much, much more.Sources:Creedmoor Psychiatric Center's Building 25 - Atlas ObscuraMusic:Divorcio Suave - "Munchy Business"Thanks to our gracious Munchies on Patreon: Jeremy S, Jaclyn O, Amy Z, Diana R, Tony B, Barry W, Drew D, Nicky R, Stuart, Jacqi B, Natalie T, Robyn S, Christine L, Amy A, Sean M, Jay S, Briley O, Asteria K, Suzanne B, Tim Y, John P, John W, Elia S, Rebecca B, Lily, Sarah L, Melsa A, Alyssa C, Johnathon M, Tiffany C, Brian B, Kate K, Whitney C, Alex, Jannicke HS, Roni C, Nourhane B, Erin M, Florina C, Melissa H, and Olivia - y'all are the best!Be a Munchie, too!
