Movsar Evloev picked up the biggest win of his career in the main event of UFC London as he defeated Lerone Murphy, handing the latter his first MMA loss in the process. While the fight was ultra-competitive, and included a rare point deduction for Evloev, a lot of people feel the judges got it wrong — and that it should've been a draw, or a win for Murphy. Following UFC London, MMA Fighting's Mike Heck and Jed Meshew react to the Fight Night card, Evloev's win and the scorecards, how the commentary was during the fight, and if Evloev will get a title shot against Alexander Volkanovski after the win. Additionally, topics include Luke Riley's co-main event win, the lackluster featured bout between Michael Page and Sam Patterson and if it was one of the worst fight's in UFC history, the incredible Mason Jones vs. Axel Sola Fight of the Year contender, and much more. Blockbuster news in the MMA world as MVP's entry into the space added a matchup between Nate Diaz and Mike Perry to the lineup headlined by Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano. While the May 16 event hasn't happened yet, MVP has stolen the headlines. With the card on paper as is so far, are they positioned to be the No. 2 MMA promotion right now? On an all-new edition of Between the Links, the panel discusses the impact of the Rousey vs. Carano card, the addition of Diaz vs. Perry, what it means for the space, and how the UFC will react — if at all. Additionally, topics include a massive performance for Kevin Vallejos this past Saturday at UFC Vegas 114, Saturday's UFC London event headlined by a huge featherweight matchup between Movsar Evloev and Lerone Murphy, Colby Covington's public gripes with the UFC, and much more. Saturday, Emmett and Vallejos square off in the main event of UFC Vegas 114, the UFC's return to the APEX following UFC 326. It's Emmett's first fight since losing to Youssef Zalal at UFC 320, and it presents a crossroads moment for the longtime veteran's career. With a win, Emmett is back in the mix at 145 pounds, a loss marks five defeats in six outings, and could mark the end of the 41-year-olds UFC tenure. Vallejos, meanwhile, is the new prospect to watch at 145 and poised to make a meteoric rise up the rankings if he can beat Emmett. Ahead of UFC Vegas 114, MMA Fighting's Alexander K. Lee and Jed Meshew preview Saturday's event and discuss if this is the last ride for Emmett in the UFC. Additionally, Lee and Meshew discuss the co-main event bout between Gillian Robertson and Amanda Lemos, the other fights to watch on the undercard, react to the UFC White House fights and other recent fight announcements, answer fan questions, and more. Jed Meshew joins me to react to some of the latest breaking news from Jon Jones wanting his release, to Ronda Rousey taking aim at the White House card, Francis signing with MVP and more!
Charles Oliveira delivered a workmanlike style to a BMF title fight, and that led to a one-sided smothering of Max Holloway to capture the title belt on Saturday at UFC 326. Unfortunately, as impressive as the performance was, the fan base was not overly thrilled by how the fight went down, which capped off — outside of a few highlights — a sluggish event. However, fans finally got the UFC White House card announcement, and even that has been met with a mixed bag. Following Saturday's event, MMA Fighting's Mike Heck and Jed Meshew recap Oliveira's BMF title win, if the UFC should put the title on ice for a little while, where both fighters go from here, and why Oliveira deserves some blame from the backlash. Additionally, they discuss other moments from the card, react to the long-awaited UFC White House announcement, the Ilia Topuria vs. Justin Gaethje main event, how the card stacks up overall, the UFC's effort in 2026 thus far, and much more. Max Holloway and Charles Oliveira are set to author another chapter in BMF title history. On Saturday, Holloway and Oliveira square off for the BMF title in the main event of UFC 326, in Las Vegas. This Saturday, the UFC returns with its third numbered event of 2026, UFC 326, headlined by a BMF title fight between Max Holloway and Charles Oliveira. Two of the most accomplished fighters competing in the UFC today, it's a bout between future Hall of Famers, where legacies, and possibly title shots, may be defined. And No Bets Barred is here to break it all down. This week, Jed Meshew is joined by Luke Noseda, AKA Long Island Luke, from Morning Kombat and The Main Card Minute, to dive into all things UFC 326. Topics discussed include how competitive the main event between Holloway and Oliveira will be, why the odds are so long in the co-main event between Caio Borralho and Reinier de Ridder, if this is Raul Rosas Jr.'s breakout moment, which undercard action is worthwhile and which is just filler, a new Climb, and more. Additionally, topics include Dana White saying the entire UFC White House card will be announced this week and what bouts could take place, Arman Tsarukyan punching Georgio Poullas after their match at RAF 6 and the weirdness of a grappling match between the two being announced, and abruptly cancelled, Aljamain Sterling's electric promo to MMA Fighting after his RAF win over Benson Henderson, and much more. Lone'er Kavanagh proved once again that fortune favors the bold. Now what does his future hold? Saturday's UFC Mexico event concluded with Kavanagh putting on a career-best performance to win a decision over two-time flyweight champion Brandon Moreno. Kavanagh made the most of a short-notice opportunity and is now poised to climb even higher in the rankings, but how quickly should the matchmakers push the budding prospect? On an all-new edition of On To the Next One, MMA Fighting's Alexander K. Lee and special guest Jed Meshew discuss what's next for Kavanagh now that he's landed firmly in the top 10 of his division. Additionally, future matchups are discussed for David Martinez, who defeated tough veteran Marlon Vera in the co-main event, the inimitable King Green after his upset knockout of Daniel Zellhuber, plus we do our best to find dance partners for up-and-coming fighters Edgar Chairez, Imanol Rodriguez, and Santiago Luna, and more. All that and a big assist from the listener picks. Follow Alexander K. Lee: @AlexanderKLee Follow Jed Meshew: @JedKMeshew Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices
Arman Tsarukyan did it again. On Saturday night at RAF 6, Tsarukyan wrestled influencer Georgio Poullas in a bout that quickly turned chaotic. Tsarukyan and Poullas got extremely physical during the wrestling match, with the referee repeatedly being forced to intervene as the bout blurred the lines between wrestling and Powerslap. Then, immediately after Tsarukyan won the match, he tackled Poullas and punched him, leading to a massive brawl in the arena. It was another instance of Tsarukyan letting his temper get the best of him, and will it once again lead to the UFC benching him in the lightweight title picture? Not only was Tsarukyan's outburst wild, it also overshadowed the UFC Mexico event, where Lone'er Kavanagh stepped in on short notice to handle Brandon Moreno in the main event, delivering the best performance of his career as he beat up the former two-time champion over 25 minutes. Fresh off a vicious KO loss, Kavanagh rebounded as well as possible, and is now a real player in the flyweight title picture. Following RAF 6 and UFC Mexico, MMA Fighting's Alexander K. Lee and Jed Meshew react to both events, Arman's big outburst, Kavanagh's sensational showing, whether Moreno still has title aspirations, King Green turning back the clock, and more.
