We're still here! Two years ago we watched Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 3 and drank a nice milk stout from Left Hand Brewery. Does the the movie audio randomly get better midway through the podcast? Was 2018 a better time without everyone realizing it at the time?? You be the judge!

In episode 128, "Y'Us Queen", Tony & Eddie get out their gold scissors and red jumpsuits and they sit back to discuss Jordan Peele's sophomore outing, Us (2019). The boys were huge fans of Get Out. They loved the world, the off-kilter reality that was described. And, they loved the showcase of Peele's talent as a writer director of last year's breakout flick. The question is - did Us live up to that? There's amazing stuff in this movie. From visuals, to dialogue and acting. No doubt there. Tune in this week to find out more about the boys thoughts on this one. They also sampled two new beers. One from Lagunitas called, Equinox. One from Left Hand Brewing called, Push Pop Party Nitro. At opposite ends of the spectrum, one very hoppy and one very sweet - there's a lot to think about if you're going to head out to find your own. Listen to this week's episode for the brew reviews.

In episode 113, the boys sit down at the bar to chit-chat about the 'ol days. In, The Man Who Killed Hitler and Then Bigfoot, Sam Elliot, reminisces about the war, past loves all while hanging out with his favorite dog. This movie delivers on its title. It's very strange title. But, in the end this film really isn't about either of those events in this man's life. Tony & Eddie didn't love this movie. In fact, there's a fair amount of dislike mentioned here, but there is something about this movie that generates a lot of talking points. It's about Hitler and Bigfoot and love and growing old and forgiving yourself and many many other things. So many that the main thread ends up lost a bit. But still...maybe you should watch it...? The boys drank new brews from Left Hand Brewery and Sierra Nevada this week. There's some great reviews here for both beers. Some excellent and unique choices this time around.

In episode 111, Tony & Eddie talk about Ryan Gosling's portrayal of the problematic protagonist/maker of history, Neil Armstrong in, First Man (2018). The boys joke about spoilers here - because we all now how this flick ends - but there is drama. There is tension. There is some worthwhile moments in this movie. Would the boys put their total seal of approval on this one? Did they love it? Did it pass the mema test? You'll have to tune in to find out. Tony also sampled a new/another beer from Sweet Water Brewing this week, and Eddie took a crack at a new Left Hand Brewing selection. They both were rated high so if you've got access to those breweries or are in a location that's within their distribution range and you're looking for reviews - check out this week's episode! And as always, we hope you enjoy this week's episode of, The Cinemantics.

In episode 108, Tony & Eddie talk about what it means to "pour hard." And play hard...maybe. This week we've got two new beers and in typical mini episode fashion, no film review. If you're a fan of Victory Brewing company you'll want to tune in to hear Eddie review Storm King. This imperial stout really packs a bitter punch. But...in a good way. Tony sampled a new nitro stout from Left Hand Brewery. If you're looking to get through the continued winter wallop - then check out this newest episode to see how the boys are sippin' through the snow.
