Shelter | Neuer Job, gleicher Jason Statham: Überzeugt der Actionstar nach der "Working Man"-Enttäuschung? Er war schon Rennfahrer, Umweltaktivist, natürlich Cop, ist eigentlich immer auch ein ehemaliger Spion oder zumindest Supersoldat und versuchte sich sogar bereits am Bau sowie an der Imkerei. Ja, man kann Jason Statham vieles vorwerfen, aber in Sachen Jobs probiert der Brite offenbar konsequent alles einmal aus – Hauptsache, er darf dabei bösen Buben die Visage auf links ziehen und im Idealfall noch jemanden Unschuldigen retten. Genau so läuft es auch in "Shelter", der am 26. März in die deutschen Kinos kommt. In dem Actionfilm spielt er einen Leuchtturmwärter – zumindest entsteht zunächst dieser Eindruck. Doch nach einem schweren Sturm muss ein junges Mädchen namens Jessie schnell feststellen, dass der wortkarge Mann durchaus gefährlich sein kann, zumindest für jene bewaffneten Männer, die seinen abgelegenen Leuchtturm stürmen wollen, was letztlich den Auftakt zu einer kompromisslosen Hetzjagd bildet.
