Lesandro Guzman-Feliz was a 15-year-old who went by the name Junior. On June 20th, 2018, a group of men from the Trinitarios Los Sures gang drug Junior out of a Bodega. The gang brutally murdered Junior with knives and a machete because they believed he was part of a rival gang. DON'T FORGET TO WATCH CRIME REPORT WITH VERY SPECIAL GUEST RALPH FRIEDMAN, RET. NYPD DETECTIVE, AUTHOR OF STREET WARRIOR AND STAR OF ID'S STREET JUSTICE: THE BRONX. MONDAY 7:30PM, FREE ON COMPOUND, WE'LL BE TAKING YOUR CALLS. July 4th didn't disappoint. An immigrant criminal from a communist country has become something of a local hero to a certain kind of idiot radical, and it's annoying. Harvey Weinstein could be looking at LIFE behind bars, now that a third accuser in criminal court has shown a pattern of predatory abuse. We discuss details of the case. The video of "Junior" (an innocent 15-yr-old named Lesandro Guzman-Feliz) getting stabbed to death got people's attention, even here in NYC. Murders are up in the Bronx about 70% from this time last year and have even doubled in some precincts, over the same period last year. Ryan Katsu Rivera - who some of you will know from Compound Media - appears.
On our initial episode, Mansa & Kal start off by discussing on whether Rich the Kid's relevance will be respected in the near future, since he recently took a few loses. They also chopped it up about who are the young fellas in the rap game that will be here in the next 3 years or more (not many). Towards the end, the topic of R&B and who's holding it down for the new generation came up as well. On a more somber note, #MeToo movement & Terry Crew's C-Span testimony was brought up and positive insight was given about it. Lastly, the crew wanted to say rest in peace to the young man Lesandro Guzman-Feliz aka 'Junior' (age 15) that was stabbed to death in the Bronx, NYC recently by a Dominican street gang...
