They talked about if they were offered a role to play someone in the LGBTQ+ community, would they be able to be believable. This conversation went further when Jerrilyn and Lynee’ spoke about Tyler Perry and how some of his movies, and other filmmakers, only show the trauma of black people, and black women specifically. Also, with it being Juneteenth, Jerrilyn and Lynee’ wants to celebrate black people being free in this country. And they spoke about who should be off work on Juneteenth. Offset wants spousal support and Cardi B wants him to die slow and is showing off her new relationship with Stefon Diggs. Jerrilyn and Lynee got into some Girl Talk and they spoke about having strained relationships in your family. They spoke about toxic family members that they no longer deal with the way they once did. This led to the host talking about Nikolas McKnight passing away from his battle with cancer. This led the host to talk about how someone can put their trust in someone who does not have their best interest at heart. Jerrilyn and Lynee’ then spoke about wanting Remy Ma and Papoose to keep their private life off of the internet. They think it just has become too much and that the public should not know all these things about their relationship. During Girl Talk, Lynee’ and Jerrilyn spoke about being the “auntie” at the cookout. They are no longer bringing paper plates and alcohol; they have to make the potato salad. Then the conversation transitioned to single women home ownership. They then spoke about single women and how they own homes more than single men. During Girl, What Happened, Jerrilyn and Lynee’ speak about Nottoway Plantation in Louisiana burning down to the ground. There have been mixed feelings because the owners of the plantation have turned it from a mansion of slavery and torture to a resort where people get married. The ladies of She Said it First introduced a new segment, Girl Talk. During Girl Talk Jerrilyn and Lynee’ spoke about rules to dating and the first one is like the person who you are dating. The conversation went deeper into Cassie, Halle Bailey, and Megan Thee Stallion. Jerrilyn and Lynee’ transitioned and spoke about Adriana Smith, in Atlanta. She is a 30-year-old woman who has been brain dead for 90 days and being kept alive because she is pregnant. Due to Georgia laws the family must keep her on life support until the baby can live outside of the womb on its own. Jerrilyn and Lynee’ gave their thoughts on the topic. They switched gears to talk about lower income consumers buying most of the luxury brands and what amount of money would they need to stop working forever. Jerrilyn and Lynee’ then went into a conversation about actor and legendary voice actor Cree Summers. She recently did an interview stating that she felt she was too smart to have chosen some of the men that she did. Summers also said that at the age of 55, she has never approached a man that she may have wanted. Jerrilyn and Lynee’ discussed how they felt about her statements. Then the host spoke about former NBA star Paul Pierce’s recent comments about marriage. Pierce said that marriage is only for poor and old people and that marriage does not benefit rich men. Jerrilyn and Lynee’ let the She Said It First fans know exactly what they felt about Paul Pierce’s comments. Lynee’ and Jerrilyn also talk about Shiloh Hendrix, a white Rochester, NY woman, who called a 5-year-old black boy with autism the N-word. Hendrix said she started getting death threats and must move so now she has raised over a half a million dollars through crowd funding. But a black woman in tech made sure she cannot get that money. She also had a turbulent plane ride. But What Irritated Jerrilyn, is the visit to the gynecologist. Every time she goes, she knows what is going to happen, but still wants to fight that lady. The Pop the Ballon Show has come to Netflix, and Jerrilyn and Lynee’ have expressed their displeasure about how the show was overly produced. They spoke about how it was done on YouTube and was for us, and by us, it had a certain appeal. It seems now when big business has come along it has become what some say is white-washed. Jerrilyn and Lynee’ then spoke about the owner of Slutty Vegan, Pinky Cole, having to buy her business back after she lost control. They spoke about keeping the right people around you. Jerrilyn and Lynee’ spoke about the sensitive story of teenagers Karmelo Anthony and Austin Metcalf in Frisco, TX. Karmelo Anthony was being bullied by Austin Metcalf and his twin brother and Anthony stabbed Austin in the chest, ending his life, as reported by various news outlets. While some people think that they cannot voice their opinions about something they paid for, Jerrilyn and Lynee’ feel more compelled to critic anything they paid for, rather it is services or goods. After Jerrilyn and Lynee’ the people know what irritated them, they spoke about Bishop Marvin Sapp telling the ushers in the church to shut the doors and not to let the congregation out until they raise $40,000. Now, Bishop Sapp has tried to explain himself but Jerrilyn and Lynee’ do not feel that it was sufficient enough of an apology. Lynee’ and Jerrilyn also spoke about rapper YG’s new song, 2004. In the song, YG talks about how he was raped by a woman twice his age. Jerrilyn and Lynee’ talked about how important it is for men to talk about their trauma and how it could influence their relationships. Speaking of men, black men in particular, Toure is upset that black men are not going to college. Toure is saying that the college attendance of black men has dropped over recent years. Jerrilyn and Lynee’ discuss rather if college is the right move for people and black men and women are finding alternatives for their careers. This led into a conversation about the recent allegations that have been made against Jay Z. Jay Z has been alleged to have sexually assaulted a minor along with Diddy at a VMAs party in September 2000. Jay Z immediately denied all the allegations levied against him. Lynee’ and Jerrilyn went on to talk about comedian Andrew Shultz crossing the line when he responded to Kendrick Lamar. Shultz went as far as telling Kendrick Lamar that he would have sex with him unwillingly and many people on social media were split about this topic. Jerrilyn and Lynee’ spoke about if it is okay to cross the line in the name of comedy. These conversations started because Shultz made jokes about black women. In speaking of black women, Candace Owens said that black women are over sexualized to sell art in the name of free speech and it should not be the case. And for once, Jerrilyn and Lynee’ agree with Candace Owens. The chatbot told the student to die among other things and Jerrilyn and Lynee' discussed how dangerous AI could be for young people. They also went into the topic of having it all. This comes from a conversation with Tia Mowry and her TV mom, Jackee Harry. They said it is not possible to have the man, the money, the kids, and be happy. Also, Jerrilyn and Lynee' spoke to the talented internet sensation, Tony Talks. He talked about how he got his start and where he draws his inspiration.
