About a funeral and breaking all the rules, which I love. But the rules are for something, too. How do we know when they should be preserved?
"You shall have a tassel to look at and remember all the commandments of the LORD." Following the catastrophe of unbelief, God graciously provides instructions for when Israel finally enters the land. Grain offerings, drink offerings, and sin offerings are detailed. A man who gathers sticks on the Sabbath is put to death, demonstrating the seriousness of God's commands. And tassels on garments serve as constant reminders of covenant faithfulness. In this chapter, we see that God's law is meant to permeate all of life. The Rev. David Boisclair, senior pastor at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Overland, MO, joins the Rev. Dr. Phil Booe to study Numbers 15. To learn more about Our Redeemer Lutheran, visit ourredeemerstl.org. The Book of Numbers is far more than an ancient census report. It is the story of a people learning to trust God in the wilderness, and failing, and finding grace anyway. In this series, host Pastor Phil Booe and guest pastors walk through the Old Testament book of Numbers chapter by chapter. We follow Israel from Sinai toward the Promised Land, through grumbling and rebellion, fiery serpents and a talking donkey, faithless spies and faithful priests. The journey is hard, the failures are many, and God remains faithful to a faithless people. These ancient accounts point us to Christ. The bronze serpent lifted on a pole points to the cross. The rock struck for water points to the one struck for us. The high priest whose death frees the manslayer points to the Great High Priest whose death sets us free forever. Join us as we discover that the wilderness has more to teach us than we ever expected. Thy Strong Word, hosted by Rev. Dr. Phil Booe, pastor of St. John Lutheran Church of Luverne, MN, reveals the light of our salvation in Christ through study of God's Word, breaking our darkness with His redeeming light. Each weekday, two pastors fix our eyes on Jesus by considering Holy Scripture, verse by verse, in order to be strengthened in the Word and be equipped to faithfully serve in our daily vocations. Welcome back to another week of BEHIND THE LENS! This week, we're taking a look at WORLDBREAKER, an apocalyptic, action-oriented, sci-fi, creature feature with a dad and daughter dynamic that is told from the perspective of a young teenage girl, directed by BRAD ANDERSON. Described as a pulse-pounding sci-fi action thriller about survival, sacrifice, and a young woman's fight to step out of the shadows and into the war she was born to face, we encounter this apocalyptic world at a time of war following "The Stitch", a rift in the earth that released the Breakers, monsters that infect and twist their victims. There are also the Hybrids, the term for infected humans when attacked and injured by the Breakers. Men succumbed first to the Breakers, leaving women to lead the fight. Willa's mother is one of the war's fiercest warriors. Her father, a battle-scarred veteran not yet infected by the monsters, hides with Willa on a remote island, training her to survive. Their fragile peace is shattered when a mysterious girl drifts ashore. Willa, longing for connection, shelters her in secret—until the truth emerges and danger follows. With Breakers closing in, Willa must rely on her father's training and her own courage to survive. As I mentioned, WORLDBREAKER is directed by Brad Anderson and written by Joshua Rollins, and stars Luke Evans, Billie Boullet, and Milla Jovovich, with the bulk of the film carried by Evans and Boullet as Dad and daughter Willa. For Brad, WORLDBREAKER is another exploration of the space where genuine emotion and genre tension meet—what he calls the yin and yang of heart and horror….and with this film, he finally got to do a creature feature! http://eliasentertainmentnetwork.com

Dr. Beckett and Rich Klein discuss the leaked private Fanatics 2025 National meeting notes and treat it as an example of how sensitive corporate prep materials can surface, whether accidentally, intentionally, or spitefully. They argue the notes mostly reflect normal corporate meeting preparation, especially for Michael Rubin's rapid-fire meetings, and emphasize such documents should be collected or shredded rather than trashed. They also say they don't see anything “horrible” in the leaked content, noting that quantity pricing and giving better terms to bigger customers is standard business practice, including examples from their own experience and comparisons to dealing with large accounts like Walmart. The episode explores hobby implications such as allocation advantages for high-profile or high-overhead partners (e.g., Tom Brady's Card Vault) and how losing Fanatics allocation can hurt stores and breakers, sometimes forcing them to buy on the secondary market. They describe a local shop (Mason's) closing after losing allocation and discuss adaptation strategies, especially shifting toward singles (high-end and long-tail) versus modern “breaking room/lounge” stores that emphasize wax. They touch on concerns about behavior that could look monopolistic, but point to competition such as eBay Live's hiring push, and conclude Fanatics will be fine if it keeps serving customers rather than acting like the only option, ending with advice for future meetings: be mindful of discoverable notes and ‘bring a shredder.' 00:40 How Corporate Meetings Get Prepped (How Slides Leak) 03:11 Accidental vs Spiteful Leaks + Handling Sensitive Docs 04:50 Rubin's Team: Over-Preparation? 07:08 Slides Shown: Quantity Pricing & “Best Customer” Deals 08:46 Tom Brady's Card Vault, Breakers, and the Monopoly Line 11:13 When Allocation Gets Cut: How Shops Can Survive 13:19 Two Divergent Futures for Card Shops

In Episode 4 of the Breaking Barriers Podcast, host Lori Thurman, 1994 Kentucky Wesleyan College graduate and current Title IX and Disability Services Coordinator, sits down with fellow Panther alum Angel Welsh (Class of 2003), Executive Director and Founder of My Sister's Keeper. The conversation opens with Lori sharing her personal connection to Angel and My Sister's Keeper, highlighting how their paths crossed through a shared commitment to serving unhoused women and children in the community. Angel reflects on her time at Kentucky Wesleyan College, where she balanced life as a student-athlete, cheerleader, and employee while working multiple jobs both on and off campus. She discusses the challenges of managing those responsibilities and what it was like to navigate college as a female athlete. Angel shares her fondest memories from her time at KWC and offers insight into whether she experienced gender-based discrepancies or inequities during her athletic career. The discussion then turns deeply personal as Angel explains how her own life experiences inspired the creation of My Sister's Keeper and fueled her passion for advocacy and shelter work. Throughout the episode, Angel offers wisdom she wishes she could share with her younger self, reflects on gender inequities in sports and the workplace, and discusses why female athletes and coaches continue to be undervalued. She speaks candidly about what she is most proud of both professionally and personally, and considers whether there is any moment in her life she would change if given the chance. The episode closes with a heartfelt reflection on motherhood, as Angel shares her hopes and dreams for her daughter and for the next generation of young women growing up in a world still striving for true equity. This episode is an inspiring conversation about resilience, leadership, advocacy, and breaking barriers—both on and off the field.

If your mind is always scanning, bracing, and expecting the worst, it's not “just anxiety”, it's Negative Mind overdrive from generational trauma, stress biology, and guilt loops hijacking discernment, intuition, and peace. And let me be clear: there is nothing negative about the Negative Mind. In Kundalini Yoga, the Negative Mind is your protector, it's meant to help you pause, see red flags, and make clean decisions. The problem isn't the Negative Mind… it's what trauma did to it.In this episode of the Sovereign Sister Movement Podcast, I teach you how to retrain the nervous system, restore discernment, and stop treating guilt like God using Kundalini Yoga Therapy + A Course in Miracles (Jesus Christ's correction on guilt). As a first-time generational cycle breaker, sovereignty isn't a vibe, it's a brain + nervous system reality. Your lineage didn't only pass down stories. It passed down protective programming: stay on guard, expect the worst, don't relax, don't trust. That alarm can steal your present moment, turn relationships into courtrooms, and trap your identity in a survival role.Inside this episode, we break down:-The Kundalini Yoga map of the 10 Bodies + the 3 minds (Negative, Positive, Neutral)-What a healthy Negative Mind is designed to do (discernment, red flags, clean “no”) vs. how trauma distorts it into hypervigilance, paranoia, and worry-The brain science of stress: why clarity disappears when the “alarm team” takes the mic-How guilt distorts perception, hijacks discernment, and keeps the alarm on across generations-A Course in Miracles (Jesus Christ): guilt as a feeling vs. a state, the continuum from false guiltlessness → true guiltlessness, and why guilt is not evidence—it's a signal perception is distorted-Why forgiveness is both spiritual and biophysical (and how it restores perception so guidance gets clear again)-A powerful mantra for the Negative Mind: Ek Ong Kar Sat Gur Prasad (the “master key” to reverse negativity into sovereignty)If you're tired of living like you're about to get in trouble… if you want intuition that doesn't collapse under stress… if you're ready to stop letting guilt drive the mind, this episode will help you rebuild the Inner Sanctuary where God-led self-authority becomes normal again.Chapters/TimeStamps 00:00 Negative Mind overdrive isn't “just anxiety”02:05 Cycle breakers + inherited alarm programming (nervous system reality)04:25 The 10 Bodies + the 3 minds (Negative / Positive / Neutral)07:30 There's nothing negative about the Negative Mind (protector vs. distortion)12:10 Stress biology: why clarity and intuition disappear under pressure16:05 How guilt keeps the alarm on + turns relationships into courtrooms20:30 Mantra science + “taking out the garbage” from the subconscious24:10 Ek Ong Kar Sat Gur Prasad (meaning + how to practice)30:00 ACIM: guilt as feeling vs state (why you can't separate from God)36:10 False guiltlessness → neurotic guilt → healthy guilt → true guiltlessness41:30 Guilt vs God: how guidance actually feels45:15 Forgiveness as perception shift (spiritual + biophysical)49:30 Integration + invitation to train sovereignty inside the SanctuaryReady to train this inside the Sovereign Sister Sanctuary?Join the membership + train nervous system sovereignty (body, mind, spirit) for seven generations before and after.

The Pegasus World Cup Invitational has evolved from a bold experiment to a decade-long fixture on the South Florida racing scene. The 10th running Saturday is the focus of this week's Ron Flatter Racing Pod. FanDuel TV's Christina Blacker checks in from Gulfstream Park to set the scene for the Grade 1, $3 million race that serves as both a punctuation mark on the preceding season and a springboard to the coming year. Hall of Fame jockey John Velázquez rides Captain Cook in the Pegasus from post 9. He talks about the statistical perception that it is difficult to win a 1 1/8-mile race from an outside draw on Gulfstream's main track. Handicapper Mark Midland has tips for the Pegasus card as he offers his best bets for this weekend. Co-hosts John Cherwa of the Los Angeles Times and Keith Nelson of Fairmount Park join in the weekly host chat, and there will be a recap of the 2025 Eclipse Awards presented this week at The Breakers in Palm Beach, Fla. The Ron Flatter Racing Pod via Horse Racing Nation is available via free subscription from Apple, Firefox, iHeart and Spotify as well as HorseRacingNation.com.

To paraphrase Jay Monahan, the PGA Tour's Opening Drive is *finally* just about underway! Andy and Brendan are beyond happy to have actual golf back on the Schedule for the Week, even if this is still a Victory Wednesday episode for the Bears. It could also be a Victory Wednesday episode for the PGA Tour, as Brian Rolapp's new Returning Member Program has enabled Brooks Koepka's return at the Farmers Open in just two weeks. Andy and Brendan discuss all the details of the new pathway, open to just four LIV golfers for the next three weeks before LIV's season begins in Riyadh. The two wonder if the financial penalty of "equity coupons" and a donation to charity was enough of a punishment for Brooks, but see this move as an overwhelmingly positive for the Tour and Brian Rolapp's tenure. Things seemingly moved quickly over the weekend and Rolapp gets props from Andy and Brendan for decisively striking while the iron is hot. PJ makes a change to his major picks, awarding Brooks with a fourth PGA Championship, but Brendan is skeptical that Koepka will find himself in major shape in 2026. Brooks will not be at the Sony Open this week, but many PGA Tour stars will be to start the season. This gambling pod makes some picks for the first event of the year, riding with two big names and a podcast favorite. Elsewhere, Rory McIlroy and other European Ryder Cup heroes are in Dubai this week for a DP World Tour event as a tune-up before coming back to the states. Brendan comes in with a real winner for the Event of the Week, Tiger's 50th birthday at the Breakers in Palm Beach. Andy and Brendan toss out some musical acts that would fit the vibe before realizing that Jon Bon Jovi is already enlisted to perform. Lastly, some major LIV news came across the desk on Tuesday morning as the Ironheads and Stingers GC have re-branded! This podcast will continue using the Stingers name, but some potentially-AI press releases reveal the new country-based names of these teams. There's also some LIV hot stove news with a former U.S. Amateur winner seemingly making the jump from the PGA Tour.

What if neurodivergence, intuition, and psychic ability are all connected, and we've been misunderstanding them this entire time? In this mind-expanding episode of Mayim Bialik's Breakdown, Dr. Julia Mossbridge—cognitive neuroscientist, author of Have a Nice Disclosure!, and Human Potential Research Lead for The Telepathy Tapes—returns to the studio to pull back the curtain on the brain, consciousness, and humanity's untapped abilities. Dr. Mossbridge reveals what neurodivergence actually looks like in the brain (and why individual lived experience matters more than labels), her groundbreaking view that there's no true distinction between unconscious processing of local information and non-local information, why information is not the same as matter or energy (and why that changes everything), and what kinds of information we can access non-locally through remote viewing. She also breaks down: - Tips anyone can use to strengthen intuition, psychic perception, and precognition - Why nonspeakers may lead the next love revolution, and what their abilities are teaching us about consciousness - How to safely explore non-local awareness without losing grounding - Hidden positives & real drawbacks of diagnostic labels (and how they can both empower and limit us) - Cognitive drain we're all experiencing from modern society, and why so many people feel chronically overwhelmed - Why most people don't understand how they operate until they revisit their childhood and caregiver relationships - How identifying your special abilities offers the clearest window into your internal world - Brain-based factors that affect our ability to filter environmental and non-local input - True definition of unconditional love—and why it's a functional state, not a feeling Dr. Julia also opens up about deeply mysterious chapters of her life, including: - Her experiences in a gifted childhood program she believes she doesn't fully remember - Possible ulterior motives of the program's administrators - Potential ties to research on radiation exposure and radio waves - What it's been like to publicly acknowledge extrasensory abilities as a respected academic - When she first realized she had psychic abilities, and how those abilities evolved over time PLUS...Julia guides Mayim through a live remote viewing exercise, demonstrating how unconditional love can be used as a signal to access information from the future, in real time. This episode challenges neuroscience, psychology, and everything we think we know about the limits of the human mind. TUNE IN to MBB to change how you see yourself, your brain, and reality itself! In this essential episode, Bryan Orr sits down with Elliot, the residential install supervisor at Kalos Services, to unpack a critical issue that's causing confusion among HVAC technicians, electricians, and inspectors alike: the new standards for breaker and conductor sizing on inverter-driven equipment. The conversation was sparked by Elliot's frustrating experience of having two inspectors in the same county fail the same installation for opposite reasons—one for an oversized breaker and another for an undersized breaker. This contradiction led to a deep dive into recent changes in UL standards and how they affect everyday HVAC installations. The heart of the issue stems from the transition to low-GWP refrigerants and the updated UL 60335-2-40 Edition 3 standard, which replaced the 1995 certification approach. This new standard introduced more conservative calculations for electrical characteristics, particularly affecting equipment using A2L refrigerants. The result? Data tags now show higher Minimum Circuit Ampacity (MCA) ratings than before, even though the equipment itself hasn't changed—only the math used to calculate these values has shifted. This has created a puzzling situation where the MCA can be higher than the recommended breaker size, which seems counterintuitive to anyone familiar with traditional electrical principles. Bryan and Elliot clarify the fundamental rule that still applies: size your wire to the MCA and your breaker to the MOCP (Maximum Overcurrent Protector). The confusion arises because manufacturers like Mitsubishi are now including "recommended breaker" sizes on data tags that are lower than the MCA—a courtesy to contractors, not a code requirement. The higher MCA reflects conservative safety margins that account for extreme operating conditions, but in practice, inverter-driven systems have multiple built-in protections that prevent them from ever actually reaching these calculated amperage levels. The key takeaway is that contractors can safely install breakers at the recommended size without safety concerns, as long as the breaker's lugs are rated to accept the wire size required by the MCA. The episode also explores how inverter-driven equipment fundamentally differs from traditional PSC motors, particularly regarding locked rotor amps (now more accurately termed "inverter input") and voltage drop considerations. Unlike conventional motors that simply run slower with reduced voltage, inverter-driven compressors and ECM motors compensate by drawing more current to maintain performance, creating a potential compounding effect with voltage drop that installers need to understand—even though voltage drop itself isn't an enforceable NEC code requirement. Topics Covered: New UL 60335-2-40 Edition 3 standards and their impact on electrical calculations for HVAC equipment The relationship between MCA (Minimum Circuit Ampacity) and MOCP (Maximum Overcurrent Protector) and why they can now seem contradictory Recommended breaker sizes on modern data tags and why they may be lower than the MCA Handling inspector conflicts and failed inspections related to breaker sizing Differences between inverter-driven equipment and traditional PSC motors in electrical behavior The transition from "locked rotor amps" to "inverter input" terminology for modern equipment Voltage drop considerations with inverter-driven systems (NEC 210.19A and 215.2A) Why inverter-driven equipment draws more current at lower voltages compared to traditional motors Proper wire and breaker sizing for A2L refrigerant equipment (454B systems) NEC Section 440 requirements specific to air conditioning and refrigeration equipment Breaker lug ratings and ensuring they can accept the required wire size Practical advice for communicating with inspectors and resolving code disputes Read the tech tip on this topic HERE. In This Hour:-- After years of resisting, Tom finally broke down and ordered a custom pistol. The 45 from Cylinder & Slide exceeded his expectations.-- It turns out that the side windows on late-model cars are laminated, and you can't break them out with your emergency glass breaker.-- Is a custom-made gun "worth it?"
