In this week's special episode, the team are joined by Val Moore, who is Women's Officer for Lincoln Labour Party and running as candidate for Lincoln City Council. We discuss the treatment of women during the Sarah Everard Vigil, and the treatment of women as a whole in our deeply patriarchal society. We also discuss the Right to Food campaign that Val is running in a country that heavily relies on food banks and where poverty is rife. Please readUnfortunately, due to technical difficulties Oli's audio was lost. At 23.48 he asked Val to what extent is sexism and discrimination a generational issue, with reference to the feeling of the country during the Yorkshire Ripper murders in the late 70s and early 80s.Apologies for this.
