Was Spinnen mit Menschen verbindet

Morgenimpuls

Vikings GM Search: Top Candidates, Culture Fit, and AJ Schulte's Pick — Tyler Forness and GM-candidate expert AJ Schulte discuss the Minnesota Vikings' general manager search, focused on six external candidates with scouting backgrounds and one internal option, interim GM/cap specialist Rob Brzezinski. They examine whether Brzezinski fits best in a “triangle of authority” model and the potential trust and power-dynamics issues if he remains close to ownership. They group external long shots as Titans AGM Dave Ziegler, 49ers AGM R.J. Gillen, and Seahawks AGM Nolan Teasley, detailing concerns about Ziegler's Josh McDaniels ties and highlighting Teasley's respected scouting/pro personnel impact and Gillen's wide-ranging, NBA-to-NFL background and role in major 49ers moves. The top contenders discussed are Rams AGM John McKay, Bills AGM Terrance Gray, and Chargers AGM Chad Alexander, emphasizing culture and collaboration; Schulte's top choice is Alexander, followed by Teasley and McKay. 00:00 GM Search Overview 01:27 Rob Brzezinski Case 04:33 Triangle Authority Debate 07:10 Long Shot Candidates 07:29 Dave Ziegler Breakdown 11:40 Nolan Teasley Profile 15:19 RJ Gillen 49ers Tree 19:29 Top Three Candidates 19:56 John McKay Rams Fit 25:12 Terrance Gray Evaluation 28:32 Chad Alexander Culture 32:32 Final Picks Wrap Up 33:48 Outro And Plugs _______________________ ⭐️ Subscribe to us here! - https://www.youtube.com/@vikings1stskol92 ⭐️ Our Twitter can be found at @Vikings1stSKOL ⭐️ Our Discord at https://discord.com/invite/493z6mQXcN ⭐️ Tyler Forness can be read at A to Z Sports - https://atozsports.com/nfl/minnesota-vikings-news/ ⭐️ Submit questions: forms.gle/7LJkCAern9kdUkuD8 ⭐️ On Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/vikings1standskol ⭐️ Watch the live show here: https://youtu.be/rhqvLBa3vxs Fan With Us!!! During this episode, Attorney Ziser addresses: 1. What is a MSO?   2. Insights about the benefits for certain Personal Injury Law firms to set-up a MSO   3. The role for MSOs as Private Equity firms continue entering into the single event Personal Injury Law marketplace   While explaining the functions of a MSO in the legal industry, including for certain Personal Injury Law firms, Attorney Ziser points to the value that MSOs provide by separating the non-legal functions of a law firm from the practice of law.   Addressing the potential concern for unauthorized practice of law by non-lawyer owners of a MSO, Ziser points out that lawyers will presumably not violate ethics rules and risk their bar licenses by permitting non-lawyer involvement in decision making about a law firm's practice of law.   As Ziser says, “[T]he notion that Private Equity, which owns a service provider, is somehow now controlling the law firm, I just don't think that's true. And, by the way, it isn't good for business for the Private Equity firm either, because if there is such a violation . . . if the law firm goes under, for example, there's nobody to pay the service provider. That's not going to help grow the enterprise.”   In his concluding remarks, Poock reiterates Ziser's point that MSOs will enhance the enterprise value of law firms as MSOs improve the business of law, which will result in higher prices for law firm sales.  Poock also points out that Private Equity has expressed particular interest in Personal Injury Law because of the volume of clients that Personal Injury law firms can represent, plus the predictability of revenues due to many Personal Injury Law matters involving insurance companies paying on behalf of defendants.

Welcome to Season 3, Episode 13 of A Friend for the Long Haul - A Long Covid Podcast! In this episode, I got to connect with Heather Schulte. Heather is the powerhouse behind Stitching the Situation. From her website: "Stitching the Situation is a continuation of artist Heather Schulte's textile work, Situation Report, a daily cross-stitch documentation of the coronavirus case and death counts in the U.S. from Jan 20-June 25. The Situation Report panels began as the artist's way to record cases in the US, and translate them visually with stitch. "We discuss a unique art exhibition called "It Comes in Waves," centered around the impacts of COVID-19. Set in The People's Building, an art gallery located on the east side of Aurora, Colorado, Heather took me on a tour of the displayed art pieces, which include drawings, dye sublimation prints, and masks. The exhibition, organized by Heather, features a mix of personal stories and collective experiences related to living with Long Covid. Special attention is given to the ‘Stitching the Situation' project, which involves community participation in cross-stitching data and personal stories onto cloth. The discussion also highlights the incorporation of art from incarcerated individuals, collaborations with other artists, and the logistical challenges of managing such a significant project. I'm absolutely thrilled that this podcast is included in the exhibit. I called my portion "A Life Redacted," and it is made up of excerpts of episodes with words redacted from the transcripts. It Comes in Waves illustrates the power of art in documenting and processing collective trauma. Heather, you are amazing, thank you for all the work you do!You can find Heather on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/stitchingthesituation/ and https://www.instagram.com/heatherdschulte/Press for It Comes in Waves includesThis feature from Visit DenverA review from DARIA Art MagazineOne woman's method for coping with COVID turned into a 5-year art project, now on display in AuroraArt Show It Comes in Waves Brings Long COVID Stories to LightFrom Denver Westword: Running through December 30, It Comes in Waves invites viewers to consider what happens when a crisis slips from public view but its consequences remain. As Big Law looks for ways to scale up, McDermott Will & Schulte says it's looking at outside investment in the firm—a move that could set off a paradigm shift in how law firms run their businesses. If it does sell a part of itself to investors, McDermott would be by far the largest publicly known firm to take this step. Outside investment represents a new source of capital for law firms looking to expand, but does come with myriad risks and potential roadblocks. On this episode of our podcast, On The Merits, Bloomberg Law's Jessie Kokrda Kamens and Justin Henry talk about why McDermott is doing this now, whether they can pull it off, and how they're going to get around the ethical rules prohibiting outside ownership of firms. Caitlin highlights the potential benefits of self-disclosure, such as possible declinations, but notes the associated costs, including time, legal fees, and reputational risks.
