And he named names! That's CRAZY. The series isn't over yet! It's tied 1-1. That's the type of stuff you usually say when the series is over. If you're the Nuggets, use that as fuel. He says you can't play defense, huh? Prove him wrong on Thursday.

I feel like I've seen this movie before. What happened, man? How did it all unravel?14:02 - After Minnesota's big win last night, Jaden McDaniels name checked a bunch of bad defenders on the Nuggets. By name! He specifically called the out and said they can't play defense. That's a WILD choice to make after Game 2 of a 7 game series, which is tied 1-1. Good news is the Nuggets have some fuel now. 30:35 - NBC completely bungled the Nuggets broadcast last night. They were late to the game! By the time they switched over from the Hawks/Knicks game, it was already 5-5 with a couple minutes gone. At no point did they say that Nuggets-Timberwolves was underway and available on a different channel or whatever. Absolute malpractice to make us sit through a postgame interview and a 3 minute commercial break instead of switching to Nuggets-Wolves.

0:00 - Boy, that was a PHYSICAL game between the Avs and Kings. LA brought the boom. That's how it goes in the playoffs. The physicality always ratchets up. The Avs survived, and held on for the Game 1 win. Is there any way LA wins this series?14:50 - The Nuggets didn't play well for a full 48 minutes, but they sealed the deal for a Game 1 victory! After the game, Timberwolves head coach Chris Finch was crying aboul Jamal Murray's 16 free throws. Cool, Chris. Criticize a guy who's known for playing some of the most ethical basketball out there.33:39 - The Rockies beat the Dodgers in a professional baseball game! Wow! That's impossible, right? There's no way that could've happened! They must've been cheating. That's what Dodgers catcher Dalton Rushing alleged (in a roundabout way) after the game on Saturday.

Wedgewood has been better, so should they ride with him the entire time? He'll join us later...hopefully...14:51 - Almost all of the national media is picking the Nuggets to beat the Timberwolves in Round 1. Even friend of the program Nick Wrong is picking the Nuggets! Does that say more about how good the Nuggets are? Or the deficiencies of the Timberwolves?34:12 - Jim Nantz went on Pat McAfee yesterday and said he spotted Bo Nix at the Masters! He was walking around Augusta with Drake Maye. The ankle looks fine, according to Nantz. Nothing predisposed about it! Are we still worried about his ankle? Is that still a concern we should have heading into next season/the forseeable future?

0:00 - Yesterday, the Bednar-less Avalanche beat the Oilers in a shootout! The Avs have nothing to play for, and yet the Oilers are still fighting for seeding! What a tough break for Edmonton. There's a reason their goalie angrily smashed his stick after Nathan MacKinnon buried the shootout winner.14:28 - Over the weekend, the DU Pioneers won their 11th national championship! That's 2 more than any other D1 men's hockey program. For Head Coach David Carle, it's his 3rd title in 5 years. How has he built such a consistently dominant program? Coach joined us today to look back on his incredible season.34:30 - Do we still fear the T-Wolves? There was a time when Minnesota struck fear into the hearts of every Nuggets fan. Will this year be different? How confident are we that the Nuggets can survive the Wolves and make it to Round 2?

Yesterday, they were playing a Spurs team that actually wanted/needed to win! Sure, Wemby wasn't playing, but the rest of the roster is stacked too! And the Nuggets B Team answered the bell. That's a great sign.14:54 - Rory McIlroy won his second straight Masters. He became the 4th golfer ever to go back-to-back at Augusta. But, he also said he's been practicing at Augusta a lot. Should Augusta limit the number of times you can play there before the Masters?Also, Aqib Talib said on his podcast that the Broncos might be making another big move this offseason...keep your eyes peeled on draft night...He was right about them getting another offensive weapon! Even so...Kirk Cousins talked about Mendoza in a recent interview and acted like he's already a Raider. The Rockies are actually fun to watch this year! Make of that what you will. Paul DePodesta, President of Baseball Operations for the Rockies, chatted with PHD yesterday. And he's saying things that Brett's wanted to hear for YEARS from someone in the Front Office. He's shifting the mindset and attitude of the team.The Avalanche can't face the Wild or the Stars in the first round because those 2 teams will face each other. So, who DO we want to see the Avs face?32:12 - Tonight is a MUST WIN game for the Nuggets for a couple reasons. First of all, the Nuggets snatched the 3 seed from the Lakers, since LA is struggling wihtout Luka and Austin Reaves right now. Second of all, the Memphis Grizzlies are resting EVERYONE today. They'll barely bring a roster of warm bodies to Ball Arena tonight. Losing to this G-League Grizzlies team tonight is inexcusable. Take care of business, strike while the iron's hot, and inch closer to stealing the 3 seed from the LakeShow for good.

That's an interesting move, to say the least. Malone absolutely could've and should've gotten another NBA coaching gig. He won a title. And yet, he ended up in college. That being said, he's the perfect coach for the portal era.
