I'm not going to force feed you a mass of words. Every thing has been said and history has been Written in Stone. Forever will the world know what happened here. Forever we all will be able to look back with pride at what we have accomplished this year 2013. It hasn't been the easiest road for some as they lay back pouting over words that were said and intents that were assumed but as we move forward those that wish to no longer communicate will be remembered as the heros they were but also left behind. These moments were meant only as opportunities for those with none. Answer the call when it is heard. Rise to the challenge my brothers or decide for your self. This show. This broadcast. July First Five Episode 7.0 (The Unsigned Countdown) Written by: Jason Roeseke We called for warriors. We called for soldiers. We called for competitors, and these independents accepted our challenge. We told them that we wanted the best and strongest to prove themselves on the battlefield and they did this to perfection. Let our unsigned metal rock punk and alternative bans musicians and artists not be victims in the war against the commercialized fat cats, but victors. see them as the first in a wave that will sweep over the music industry like a tsunami. This is not some passing fad. This is The Unsigned Countdown, and we are here to promote, review, and support the independents. You might hear a lot about what we do for the unsigned artists, but what you don't often find, is useless information about who we are. This project isn't about self gratification, it's not about stroking our own egos. It's about the music, it's about support, and it's about promoting a new way. Let those record labels have their archaic way of doing things. Let them sit comfortably never knowing whats to come. Our first contender, straight from Portugal Is @AnotherDayWillCome with their metal bomb Collections. If you want to know about a great band before they are officially great then you will want to get on board with this band. Screaming vocals and a bouncing ass crazy guitar set the tone for this race to the finish line. While the problems with production ate almost painfully obvious, and the drums tend to be a little to up front. There is no doubt that there is a talented group here just perfecting their craft. Next on the list is Washington State rockers @SilverBullet and Stop. Come with us back to the late 80s when grinding voices and glam was king. This song is so reminiscent to an earlier age of rock that we had no choice but to add it to the list of countdowners this month. It may start out ruff, but once you feel the beat and get into the groove with this band you'll be back for more. Next up is @Feed-Em-to-the-Wolves with Apathia. I dare you to try and not start a mosh during this blast of metal. Layers of growling vocals backed by a variety of guitar tones that impress. intensity, with a story line and we loved every minute of this tune. I hope your up for a new sound here at The Unsigned Countdown because Matthew @Heller brings us a major dose of Folk Punk with his groove fest known simply as Shake it. Basic, cheesy, and beautiful as it is a great bouncing beat moves you through a track that makes you smile. The lyrics might be a bit simple but you'll find your self blissfully unaware and you'll notice your head a moving and you're serotonin pumping by the end. Then finally just when we've got you all vulnerable and ready we attempt to finish you off in style with @DuCru and the alternative wonderland that is Juggernaut. Drift away in a cloud of sound with this epic submission. Easily one of my favorite song ever featured in our humble little show. Layer upon layer of vocals, guitars, and drums fill the space completely, and the transitions involved are mind blowing in ways you couldn't imagine unless you've been inside of this song. As always thank you to every band involved and to every fan that has supported The Unsigned Countdown and The Underground Recap Sessions. We hope to continue serving the Independent and Unsigned communities even further with our Live Feed Interviews and our Live Feed Interview Fan Chats. I think it's important to say that we can only do so much. We can set the stage, bring you a world wide audience, and help promote great independent music, but we can't do everything, and to become better we need your involvement. Submit a song to Jarcode01@gmail.com, tell a friend to submit, or at the very least help spread the word that we are out here waiting to feature great metal punk rock and alternative tracks,
