Fri, December 13, 9:00 PM So. Do you know Travis Nowak? Ever heard of him? Travis is the Kevin Bacon of the Soudcloud Metal community. You can't go far with out hearing his voice on some track by some great new band. Working with the likes of Increased Distortion, to The Day the Sky Fell to other great unsigned artists singing and collaborating has been a mission, but a fun hobby since 2012. We've known about Travis for about a year now and have been pacing the JarCodes hallways working to secure the first interview with this Countdown Hero. And he with us. Travis has been featured twice in The Unsigned Countdown, and has even officially ranked songs as a judge. He has always been a huge supporter of our shows, and interviews that he has finally relented to our constant requests. Friday the Thirteenth is the night. You've worked with him, or wrecked your neck listening to him. Now is your chance to support him, to support us, hell to support great new fresh Heard and heavy music, made by people you can talk to. This event will be a Live Streamed Event. You will be able to post your comments under the Live Feed broadcast video on YouTube at the time the Hangout studio goes live. We will be talking tunes to tunings with the man, influences, and inspirations. With Adam and Tony doing the interview, on a friday night. Dude this is going to be legendary! I'm not going to force feed you a mass of words. Every thing has been said and history has been Written in Stone. Forever will the world know what happened here. Forever we all will be able to look back with pride at what we have accomplished this year 2013. It hasn't been the easiest road for some as they lay back pouting over words that were said and intents that were assumed but as we move forward those that wish to no longer communicate will be remembered as the heros they were but also left behind. These moments were meant only as opportunities for those with none. Answer the call when it is heard. Rise to the challenge my brothers or decide for your self. This show. This broadcast. An entire season. Thank you so much for the support and each and every band featured here in our The Unsigned Countdown wants to thank you for supporting them. We would also like to thank every one of these great and brave Unsigned musicians, For making the music and for then trusting us to get it out there using the Platform we built from the ground up. From conception to finale in under a year. We were the first all music podcast to be on the Stitcher smart radio app. Now of course many others have followed us. We are still the only Metal podcast on there, as well we are still the only internet radio show, broadcast, Podcast, whatever you want to call us, That features each song in it's full uncut original, uncensored version across the planet and into iPods, tablets, phones, home computers and even car stereos and home receivers Fast and free. We are the only show that goes even further and offers reviews of the song which include genre location, and band links to every independent band we feature. And then yes we even go further by offering Live feed Interview Fan Chats. In which one of our hosts straight from the Underground Recap Sessions joins you in a unique experience. Along with our latest concept The Bandangout, where our hopes would be to connect individual musicians with a live stream stream so that we can get them to talk shop and share secrets about the process that is independent music creation. In our next season we hope to expand and perfect what we've started. Bigger and better is the goal. Artist reputation outlets, Record executives and signed artist will be asked to share their insights in interviews and a new website with unlimited storage will mean plenty more content. We've already added a new second season Co-host who you will hear in this episode as Nicole quickly filled in for Jacob. We've asked Mordeous himself to spin a 48 episode tall in our blog posts, we have taken on a second producer specific to The Unsigned Countdown, Underground Recaps, and Interviews, and we are sure that Dr. Johns Vidner will only improve on what we hope to accomplish in this brand new idea in band promotion and music discovery. Again our goal was to sit down and talk about music. The bands are the stars, features, and building blocks for everything we are. Without them we would be nothing. As well with out new Unsigned risk takers such as these you would be left with a homogenized commercialized sound.

Not only the greatest of Recap Sessions, but our final regular season Underground Recap Session. Come on in sit back and join the guys for a conversation about our October Top Bands, Our October Top Two, The winner announcement but like usual so much more. After this last regular season show we will be moving quickly to our finale shows. We will be sharing our Countdown episodes both this coming Friday and the following friday. The judges took a lot of time listening to each of these songs. Ranked them from favorite to least favorite (which was a near impossibility). Now however it will be left to you the fans and bands to decide and vote for the ultimate winner of this our first season. We will be creating a Facebook event for the finale vote and you will be asked to vote by commenting under the pic or pics of the bands you loved the most. As well while you're there please read the event description and posts within the event to find out how you can multiply your voting power on SoundCloud, Instagram, Twitter, and maybe more. I know what you're thinking. This is all so very important to the show because your votes and numbers will not only show everybody involved that you care about this project and would like us to continue on for another season, but will also show sponsors that this is a project to support. More important however is what your voting and sharing power do for the bands and artist. Our main goal is to spotlight great music. We have only the platform. It's you that has the power.
55 Minutes of straight music from some of our favorite former countdowners. Comment on the timeline to help us tell people the bands featured. Give a listen because one of those bands might just be you. If we reach 500 listens we will add a song list of the actual bands involved and you can see how good you are at The Unsigned Countdown Trivia.

To have your song featured and reviewed in an upcoming episode please contact us at JarCode01@gamil.com A ripple. All it takes to change the course of history is that single moment. That event that causes that ripple. We here at The Unsigned Countdown have attempted to start the process by building a platform for unsigned and independent metal punk alternative and rock artists musicians and bands. People have asked me why it is that we've done this. It's been a struggle at times, we've done it at our own cost, and we continue to broaden our reach with concepts such as the Interview and Fan chat, The Bandangout, and more. Each member of The Unsigned Countdown, Underground Recap Sessions, and JarCodes Productions has taken time, energy, and their own personal funds to help create what has been created, and so when I'm asked that question. Every time I'm asked that question. My answer is always the same. Why do we do this? Because I fucking love to do it. Because we here as a group love to do this. Because we as a group love music. This is something we were doing before we had microphones, and podcasts. It's been something we've done all of our lives. And my guess is that it's something you have also done. When music is in your blood, in your veins, it's in your head. It's in your heart, and so we continue to do what we do for the simple love of doing it Like I said there has been struggles. Both personally, and professionally. It's been a challenge to get bands on board, and even harder to get fans to understand the idea of unsigned and independent music. We didn't pick the most popular genres, and we haven't used sponsorship to fund what we do. The thing is however as I said above. Our goal isn't to sell out. Our objective has never been to become famous. Our goal has, and will continue to be the discovery of new and great music. The fans will come. Throughout the year our numbers have gone up, and thats great. I personally would love to stick it to the record labels by proving that they are not the only ones that know where the music scene is headed. By the time they notice what is happening the course of history will have already changed. That single ripple will have had it's affect. Thanks for listening, Thank you to every band for trusting us with their music, and while this is the final regular season Countdown episode. We will be back next week with another discussion show, next month with a finale full of our top bands, and next season with an even bigger cast bigger plans and the same love for the music. I'm going to dedicate this episode to the greatest group of music loving mother fuckers I know. They are not only my coworkers, They are my friends, and will always be my family. Thanks to Tony, Adam, Jacob, Johan, Derek and Nicole.

Did we really bring a new audience to this hidden gem of the Music scene using the Stitcher smart radio app SoundCloud, Jarcodes.com, iTunes, YouTube, and more? Hell yeah. We did! But most importantly. Did bands musicians and artists from all over the planet and from every genre with these genres respond? Hell yeah they did. We've asked in each and every episode one thing. Our Final First Five Written by:Jason Roeseke Episode 10.0 (The Unsigned Countdown) This episode contains and features the best music from: @Haetor, Warmth Crashes In @warmthcrashesin, Sunsets the Day @sunsets-the-day, Sickist @user58414670, Gilgamesh @NotonsoundCloud, Toxsyn @toxsyn This episode was sponsored by ApocalypseJuice.com, Elements Divide, GoDaddy.com, and a special thanks to SoGoodCoffee.com for supporting the show with some of the best coffee on the planet This episode was produced by JarCodes Productions. To have your song featured and reviewed in an upcoming episode please send your audio file, information including first location, band links, Genre, and a brief bio to JarCode01@gmail.com or submit it to our SoundCloudsubmission portal This is something special. To me it's epic. By the end of this month we will have featured 100 songs, reviewed every one, and interviewed every artist that agreed to join us in our Live Feed fan chat Interviews. We've made friends and expanded everything. We brought a music based podcast to the airwaves before any body else and we did it in a unique way. It's a competition, it's a battle, but more importantly it's a gathering, it's a community. The artist them selves decide how much or how little of what we do they use. and there for helping us with our goal. My hope when creating this project wasn't to be famous or meet bands and fans that simply shared my interest for great unsigned Metal Punk, Alternative, or Rock. My goal was to be the megaphone that these musicians were missing. To be the discovery platform for the next big thing. One day people will discover that the independent bands are just as good if not better the the signed bands that are being shoved down our throats every day. See a record label has a guy or two reviewing music. That dude makes or breaks the band chance. Here we are doing what those labels do but here you are those dudes. You discover the sounds you like, you support the artists that you like, and isn't that a better way. Our only problem is getting the zombie drones that have been hypnotized to realize theres a better way. So as always please support every band featured in this as well as every episode. Thats what this project is all about. Visit us at Jarcodes.com and check out the links section to find everything we do and every where we are. There will be sweeping changes in the coming months but one thing that will never change will be our on going support of the independent and unsigned artists musicians and bands that we love, and search for every day. Dedicated to my friend in Jacksonville
And We Have A Winner...Barely Written by (Jason Roeseke) Episode 9.75 (The Underground Recap Sessions) Hello bands fans new and old. Welcome to the final September installment of The Unsigned Countdowns Underground Recap Sessions. In this episode the gang will be talking tracks and more, we will bring you fun and excitement, along with the announcement of our September winner. The top band of the month and one of ten bands that will move on to compete in our upcoming November finale. In a month packed with metal it was a hard fought battle that left even the fans hard pressed to pick a winner. So sit back and listen to a discussion about music, life and of course meth. Life is full of historic moments and this episode definitely ranks among them. This month we at Jarcodes teamed up with a promoter from Poland named Vlad and although he was excited to have his bands enter the Countdown that spotlights Metal Rock Punk and Alternative music from some of the best Independent and Unsigned Bands Musicians and Artists on the planet. He did very little if anything to actually promote the show or his bands involvement. We do want to thank every band for joining this months battle. It's hard to believe that a band would spend so much time creating a great song, submit it with bio, and more, only to ignore the fact that they were even in a fight for our top spot. Can you tell that I'm a bit bitter? That truth is that we put a great deal of time and effort into this project and put aside other worthy submissions to accommodate Vlad so the lack of attention was a major let down to not only myself but everybody that works so hard to make every show a great as they are. Please support every band involved in this project. Thats what this is all about. A way to bring attention to the great music being created in a world of unsigned artists many don't know exist. When Men Were Men Episode 9.25 (The Underground Recap Sessions) Written By: Jason Roeseke This episode will recap and review the songs from our previous show as well as catch up on some of the goins on over at Jarcodes productions as well as "The Unsigned Countdown" and "Underground recap Sessions" Welcome fans bands promoters and interested labels. If you are looking for fun excitement and some laughs you've come to the right place. This month the podcast went guns blazing full on metal, and the bone crushing earball splitting First Five bands are what Tony, Adam, Johan, Jason, and Jacob are getting together to discuss. Since each co-host comes from different backgrounds in music you know there is bound to be some arguing. Thats what we do here at The Unsigned Countdown and Underground Recap Sessions. We feature and offer free airplay to Metal, Punk, Alternative, and Rock, musicians bands and artists, We then keep them on the hook and our song judges on the hot seat as we use the Recap Sessions to ask them all why they ranked the songs the way they dod. What was it that one band did right or what one musician did that might have turned them away. The guys are serious about offering feedback and honest advise but alqays seem to loose themselves in the fun of their job. Sit back and give a listen. You might just find that even if you're not a performer or artist that there is still a lot of laughter to be had. Even better. If you agree or disagree with something that was said please feel free to of us compliments or criticisms. While the shows on the surface sound like it's all fun and games, The music and musicians featured spent some amount of time and effort into creating what they have submitted and we love being a helpful honest tool for them Please support every band featured this month as well as have been involved in past episodes. Thats really what this project is all about. We hope to spotlight great tunes from some of the best bands you've never heard of, and bring it all to you where ever on the planet you might be. The August First Five Episode 8.0 (The Unsigned Countdown) Written by: Jason Roeseke Featured bands: An Atlas to Advance @bverderber, Cotard Dilusion @cotarddlusion_portugal, My Hands in Chains @myhandsinchains, Supernaut72 @supernaut72, Zapruder Point @zapruderpoint Welcome fans, bands, lovers, haters, and copycats. Finally come learn more about some of our favorite featured bands, exclusive unedited and uncensored content on YouTube yep @Jarcodes Our first submission is a heavy band that you may want to keep an eye on. Supernaut72 combines a slow groove with heavy tones, to create a unique style that will be fun to see develop. Soon after we move on to a newer artist, but one full of very interesting ideas. Cotard Dilusion may still be learning but the concepts being developed are something you must here to believe. Like an excited kid with new toys, this musician seems to be packing tracks with everything and will soon master his craft and explode onto the independent scene. My Hands In Chains is up afterwards and brought a controversial tune that is like a brain infection. This was a track that never stopped moving on our judges lists and while ranked here in the First Five will most definitely rank in your rotation much higher. For me it was like listening to heavy metal underwater, and you can here more about how each judge felt next week in our "Underground Recap Sessions". Moving on tto a submission that will make you smile. Not while banging your head, but while bobbing it. Zapruder Point brings a fun bar song to the Countdown, and along with its simplicity comes some great lyrics, and a comfortable feel. Finally wrapping up our August First Five with a is what has been called a departure from the Metal we've been used to. An Atlas to Advance ends the show with perfect production, an grand epic feel, and more. Tony was heard saying " It made me wear a sweater, glasses I didn't need, hug my teddy bear, and cry" if music is made to cause emotional reactions, this track nail it. Thanks for listening to our First Five of August. Please support these and every band we've featured by following the links and telling them that you're a new fan because you discovered them on "The Unsigned Countdown".

The responce has been incredible. So thank you to everybody that voted this month, Congradtulations to every band involved, and thank you to both my Co-host, as well as our two Guest judges. July Top Five ( Vote!) Episode 7.50 (The Unsigned Countdown) Written by Jason Roeseke Lets talk tracks. Our first Top contender is a brutal Swedish/ Finish combo known to the world as @machineryofficial. The Serpent was the first song created by this group, but you wouldn't know that by listening. The talent is distributed evenly and with an emphasis on guitar and intense vocals. The care taken in the mixing process as well as great bass, and realistic drums all blends together really well. You can learn more about this band by watching our Interview with Karl Johan Vidner of Machinery. Moving on we feature @Elision_of _Animus with their song within a song Penumbra. With an deep intense movie score as the back drop. This song flows to places you would never expect. From full on metalcore to an ambient sounding masterpiece. While this song is part of a concept of a larger story line. It stands well on it's own as well. You can discover more about Portugal's sons by checking out our Interview with Elision of Animus. I think I should thank both of the last bands for getting up at 3 and 4 in the morning to record those great interviews. Next we have a Ohio based group that kicked it up a notch by joining us in our first and soon to be historical Interview Fan & Band chat. @BoyMeetsWorldband brings us the punky poppy perfection that is Rest of our Days. If there is any proof that continuity is important to the success of a band . These three brothers and two best friends are out to prove that they've got what it takes. A great group of guys that can purley play and love the experience of playing live . Check them out if you're in their area. Finally we reach the point of battle. That moment that divides second place from First. That moment when one band realizes the dream of winning the month of July and prepares them selves for a November finale, while the other band does not. So it is very important to each of these next two bands the you take a minute to listen, and then to vote for your favorite. To show your support for either band please go to Facebook.com/Jarcodes and answer the poll question pinned to the top of our page. You can also go to Soundcloud.com/Jarcodes and cast your vote right on the Episode 7.50 timeline. Want more? You got it. Go to Twitter and Tweet @Jarcodes #Vote @Yourfavoritebandname. Or really go big vote, and Tag @Jarcodes on a sweet pic of your favorite of this Top Two at Instagram. The first countdowner set to bleed you of your vote is the inventors of the Vienna Moshcore sound. @Rootlessvmc is proud to be "a unique mix of Hardcore, Thrash, and Death Metal combined in one emotionally charged package". Thats exactly what Pussy Whipped is. This raw sound intense and lethal vocals combined with a perfectly structured song is totally everything you could want in a song. Then to set the story within the lyrics just put it over the top and into that class of music known as classic. Then before you think you earballs have been completely kicked comes the next band up for your vote. @dimitri-pourille. Increased Distortion is a very limited band name for the sound that they've created in the epic that is In The Middle Of Nowhere. A journey of soundscapes awaits you in this gem of a track. Hard hitting tempos and beats fill the space. While vocals rip you to pieces. Just when you think you know what this song is however. It changes pace and slows down to an almost tranquil atmosphere, only to lull you in si that it can come back even harder heavier and more intense then you could think was humanly possible. Thank you for listening. As always please support the independent and Unsigned Metal Punk Rock and Alternative musicians bands and artists featured in this and past episodes. Thats what this podcast is all about. Support Jarcodes and all of it's endeavors please visit Jarcodes.com and visit whichever link you prefer
The Name Game Episode 7.25 (Underground Recap Sessions) Written by: Jason Roeseke Welcome bands and fans to an all new Underground Recap Session. This will be brief because Big Brother comes on in a half an hour, and I don't think anybody actually reads this. You should. Thats where the beef of this project is. Every link to shows, bands, videos, and more are in the body of these blogs. So I'll say that I had a really great time recording this months episodes. We were joined this month by Brent Underwood from Drayton Road and a little later by Rocky from Complete Sentences Podcast. Both Guests as well as our anchor Tony had plenty to say about these our First Five, and I think we had fun talking tunes. The goal of the Unsigned Countdown and The Underground Recap Sessions has been to offer to the unsigned or independent metal punk alternative and rock musician, band, or artist what no one else has been. Free promotion, Honest feedback, and opportunities to grow with our community. So that being said, I think we accomplished our objective. Thank you to each of these bands. You are why we do this and you are why we enjoy it all so much. As always please support these bands and artists. Thats what this project is all about. Yu can find links to every featured band in the blog of our previous Countdown episode. To support Jarcodes with feed back please follow us on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Google+, and YouTube. To support the Unsigned Countdown Podcast please visit us at www.Jarcodes.com to find all of the links we have that best suit you. Thank you for listening and if you do read this. Do me a favor and take a minute to Tweet @Jarcodes #GreatShow. Finally I would like to officially congratulate Mr. Jacob Fry for his promotion in the Countdown family. Jacob will be heading up our Song recuitment dept and monitoring our Soundcloud submission portal. Thank you to Jacob for the hard work already put in on our behalf.
July First Five Episode 7.0 (The Unsigned Countdown) Written by: Jason Roeseke We called for warriors. We called for soldiers. We called for competitors, and these independents accepted our challenge. We told them that we wanted the best and strongest to prove themselves on the battlefield and they did this to perfection. Let our unsigned metal rock punk and alternative bans musicians and artists not be victims in the war against the commercialized fat cats, but victors. see them as the first in a wave that will sweep over the music industry like a tsunami. This is not some passing fad. This is The Unsigned Countdown, and we are here to promote, review, and support the independents. You might hear a lot about what we do for the unsigned artists, but what you don't often find, is useless information about who we are. This project isn't about self gratification, it's not about stroking our own egos. It's about the music, it's about support, and it's about promoting a new way. Let those record labels have their archaic way of doing things. Let them sit comfortably never knowing whats to come. Our first contender, straight from Portugal Is @AnotherDayWillCome with their metal bomb Collections. If you want to know about a great band before they are officially great then you will want to get on board with this band. Screaming vocals and a bouncing ass crazy guitar set the tone for this race to the finish line. While the problems with production ate almost painfully obvious, and the drums tend to be a little to up front. There is no doubt that there is a talented group here just perfecting their craft. Next on the list is Washington State rockers @SilverBullet and Stop. Come with us back to the late 80s when grinding voices and glam was king. This song is so reminiscent to an earlier age of rock that we had no choice but to add it to the list of countdowners this month. It may start out ruff, but once you feel the beat and get into the groove with this band you'll be back for more. Next up is @Feed-Em-to-the-Wolves with Apathia. I dare you to try and not start a mosh during this blast of metal. Layers of growling vocals backed by a variety of guitar tones that impress. intensity, with a story line and we loved every minute of this tune. I hope your up for a new sound here at The Unsigned Countdown because Matthew @Heller brings us a major dose of Folk Punk with his groove fest known simply as Shake it. Basic, cheesy, and beautiful as it is a great bouncing beat moves you through a track that makes you smile. The lyrics might be a bit simple but you'll find your self blissfully unaware and you'll notice your head a moving and you're serotonin pumping by the end. Then finally just when we've got you all vulnerable and ready we attempt to finish you off in style with @DuCru and the alternative wonderland that is Juggernaut. Drift away in a cloud of sound with this epic submission. Easily one of my favorite song ever featured in our humble little show. Layer upon layer of vocals, guitars, and drums fill the space completely, and the transitions involved are mind blowing in ways you couldn't imagine unless you've been inside of this song. As always thank you to every band involved and to every fan that has supported The Unsigned Countdown and The Underground Recap Sessions. We hope to continue serving the Independent and Unsigned communities even further with our Live Feed Interviews and our Live Feed Interview Fan Chats. I think it's important to say that we can only do so much. We can set the stage, bring you a world wide audience, and help promote great independent music, but we can't do everything, and to become better we need your involvement. Submit a song to Jarcode01@gmail.com, tell a friend to submit, or at the very least help spread the word that we are out here waiting to feature great metal punk rock and alternative tracks,

June Top Five Episode 6.50 (The Unsigned Countdown) Written by: Jason Roeseke In the battle for honor and glory there must be the defeated as well as the victorious. This episode will begin the bloody battle to decide. While the judges have ranked them, it will be up to you to decide the ultimate winner in the battle towards our grand finale in November. Four have been chosen to fight on. Who will be the fifth? Will it be the Independent, and international band @Cartoon-Theory with a departure from the norm in Hypnotic Novas Dance? Mathematical Rock at it's finest is here and it is good. This track has an effortless flow, intertwining instruments as if they were hypnotically dancing. A variety of guitar sounds and styles together with a wide array of musical elements sets this jazzy journey apart from the pack. Perhaps it will be @Sufosia with their metal classic Even in My Darkest Days. This grinding explosion of a tune features smooth vocals killer drums, and of course guitar riffs like no others. Chunky, choppy, and totally adictive, the Croatian metal scene is on fire thanks to this great group. It could be one of my favorites of the month of June. Lead by a thirteen year old phenomenon, @Motion-Device is the group of teenagers that brought us the song A piece of Rock and Roll. With a sound seemingly beyond their years this basic metal track has components of pure energy, and a style on guitar that impress me. While a band in need of some better production, overall these are all quality musicians with big futures ahead of them. My advice for these teen rockers would be stay together, and stay independent. From a female singer to a full on female band from Olympia. Hailing from the home of grunge @FullMoonRadio Kicks parts of our asses with a song titled Hanging Around. This west coast trio really packs a lot of sound into what at first seems like simplicity. A building of grinding guitars, and steady bass, combined with layers of emotional vocals, and solid drumming sound like success to us. Finally not to be left out of the tournament. @Mordeous battles a second time and brings it with a collaboration effort called Falling Down. Layers of emotional vocals are an instant spear to the earballs, as a steady and sometimes blazing guitar melts it's way effortlessly through this track. Well thought out lyrics stand out as well as the improvements in production. This featured artist joined Ep1taph, and Acehigher2 to create this masterpiece and we applaud the effort Once you've listened please take a moment to vote at https://www.facebook.com/Jarcodes for your favorite Top Two contender. The voting will start June 16th and close the evening of June 21st. additionally for an extra vote or an easy way to get your friends and followers on board you can now simply Tweet @Jarcodes #Vote @FullMoonRadio or @Mordeous As always please support every independent and Unsigned musician band and artist involved in this project. Thats what this is all about. Bringing a spotlight to the great Rock, Alternative, Metal, and Punk that is out there waiting to be heard. I heard Rage Against the Machine... Episode 6.25 (Underground Recap Session) Written by Jason Roeseke Lets discuss the First Five of June. Some awesome tunes cause some great conversation and there is no shortage of opinions in this episode. Tony Leonardi anchors a cast of personalities, and proves once and for all that you can broadcast in a live hangout completely naked. While audio alone doesn't lend it's self to hearing it Tony shaved himself bald from head to toe while we recorded. He is a character and thats why we love him. Adam Gonzales chimes in regularly and while not at all naked he is totally drunk. I made a bet with Adam before recording. Every time someone blew into their microphone he had to drink, and by the end we just left him on the studio floor to sleep it off. You might think to your self "poor Adam", but I'm the one out a bottle and a half of single malt scotch! With Tony shaving and Adam constantly having to drink you would think a straight man couldn't fit in. Well Derek Cornett is here to let you know otherwise. The consummate musician, Professional, and mans man Derek must feel like the man in the middle of a three ring circus. Although he prefers to dress only in live snake skin, Bath in only the tears of the forsaken, and eats a steady diet of only herbs and berries, he is just as normal as you or I. I myself had a great time reviewing some kick ass songs and I hope you take the time to go and support every artist involved in our little independent podcast. June First Five Episode 6.0 (The Unsigned Countdown) Written by Jason Roeseke Welcome back bands and fans to an all new Countdown. We at The Unsigned Countdown are constantly searching for the best independent and unsigned talent that this planet has to offer. Please sit back and relax while your earballs do the listening, your brain does the comprehending, and your neck does all of the work because we have got a great list of R.A.M.P musicians, bands, and artists waiting here for your listening pleasure. Kicking off the show at number ten is Sickist with their mood altering hit "The Art of Vanishing". Once you find yourself eveloped in their gothic tones and interesting use of affects you'll find it hard to believe that it's an instrumental. Come get lost in the world that Sickist has created for you. At number nine we move forward to Alchemy Room and their epic song "Obsession Red Blood". A slow starter with an abundance of great guitar, wild Keyboard, and Superior vocals. If you can survive the length of this melodic track you will eventually be rewarded with a faster pace in the second half. Moving up the countdown and across the pond we reach our number eight feature. Umbrella Assassins bring us their garage punk track "Nose Blower". Nothing overly complicated here. Chunky guitar riffs with vocals to match fill the air in this tune, and I for one was left eagerly wanting more. At number seven in our talent packed broadcast is Behold Triumph and their sledgehammer of a track "Society Made Us". Emotional vocals with intense overtones, unrelenting guitar and a non stop pace is what you'll get when you allow this song into your head. Finally wrapping up our First Five is "Tribulation" by Lions among Wolves. You should be warned before hand to put on a cup when listening to this musical assault. The perfect blending of tones, killer drums, and a style of guitar that you've yet to here from any other featured band in our podcast might just leave your earballs blown. The offsetting vocals are truly impressive and this group surly has a bright future in the world of music. We thank you for listening to our first June show. Come back next week for even more fun and excitement as the judges will be sitting down together to explain why these songs were ranked the way they were. As always please support these talented independent and unsigned musicians, bands, and artists. Thats really what this project is all about.
Another 10 O' Clock Horror Story Episode 5.75 (Underground Recap Session) Written By: Jason Roeseke "Welcome back my friends to the show that never ends". Why do I write something that nobody reads? Because the history must be documented! Because one day society will discover it's self in ashes, and in looking for an answer might stumble upon this very blog. You see for even the Bible was once a library of words. A library so vast that to gaze from one end would mean not seeing the other. This building was filled with words, words written by humble men. Stories penned by now important wanderers. Books bound in leather packed with the adventures of Unsigned and Independent artists, musicians, and minstrels. At some point a group of assholes that thought they new better, Gathered only the stories they found to fit there agenda. Bound them also in Leather, stamped their now holy names on them, and told the world that these stories were the only ones that mattered. The only words that they them selves deemed scripture. Are we at "The Unsigned Countdown" not a version of that glorious library? Are these songs not a version of those stories gathered, and penned by the same unsigned and independent artists, musicians, and minstrels? These musicians, bands, and artists are the modern day version of those now holy and important men, and maybe one day, when the world rises from the ashes of our falling society. Maybe hundreds, Thousands, or millions of years from now When a new man comes along, When future us develops their new society. Perhaps it will be our Countdown that they discover. Our broadcasts won't be seen as a bunch of Heavy metal loving misfits. It will be seen as a collection of ancient and important stories, gather together, Bound as one, with all of our names stamped on it. In our final May installment. Sir Derek Cornett, Tony Leonardi, Lord Adam Gonzales, and Jason Roeseke Discuss The Top Five bands of May. We all offer our opinions based on our perspectives towards music, as as always we have a lot of fun doing it. If you haven't already, take the time to listen to our previous episode "Countdown" Episode 5.50. Take some time as well to follow and support the musicians involved. The Day The Sky Fell, New Nobility, Da Small Tragoediaz, were all top contenders in a month filled with Heavy hitters. In the end it was bands Drayton Road and Maggot Twat the crossed swords in our Countdown arena. We asked you the fans to vote for a winner, and you did that. With Thousands of views shares and votes a victor was crowned. Here it this very episode, we will not only announce the winner, but offer up part one of a two part interview with the winning band.

Finally if you would like to visit us and follow at Twitter. Vote by tweeting @Jarcodes #DraytonRoad or #MaggotTwat. To help show even further support please tweet @Jarcodes #Greatshow. Our number five group The Day The Sky Fell. Is a new band, but some familiar faces. Axcel and Travis return to the battle ground seasoned practiced and ready with their metelcore meltdown Endless Bottle. These two young lads kick it up a notch with this one. Travis's growling lows and highes set a tone that Axcel's cleanes fit perfectly into. Top notch guitar work from this French phenomenon flows effortlessly from his fingertips and shreds the shit out of your earballs. Beginning to end a great way to kick off the show. After that we bring you the poppy Australian group New Nobility. Their song Galactic sounded as if it was poured smoothly out of a can. With its easy to handle musical tones, and perfectly produced vocals you'll be left with no doubt of it's inclusion worthiness once you realize that you head is totally bobbing and you have a smile on your face.A little commercial and a lot retro this is a fantastic tune. Onward however we must go. Our number three ranked submission was Da Small Tragoediaz with the crushing track Da Deuce Doesn't Believe in God Part 4 (Featuring Amoeba & Nam) One of Adams favorite tracks of the month he tells us how much he really enjoyed this band in our recap discussion due out next Monday. This group is a collaboration machine with great guest singers, as well as artists from all over the globe. A slight electro vibe remains constant as the vocals hit your earballs with variety, style, and note after note of pure originality. Now finally. The moment that these Top Two heavy weights have been waiting for. The moment that will possibly go down in history as the biggest baddest The Unsigned Countdown Battle royal of all time! North Carolina born and breed Drayton Road against Chicago brewed Maggot Twat. Again please take a moment once you've listened to vote for you favorite band. Maggot Twat's 10 O' Clock Horror Stories was a innovative assault with it's inhaling vocals, Squealing guitar, deadly bass, and a comedic puppet killing it on drums. While Drayton Roads Sound The Trumpets was a epic build up featuring soaring vocals, Great production, and a real feel of a genuine love for making music.
Welcome Back Adam Episode 5.25 (Underground Recap Session) Written by: Jason Roeseke Welcome to a special Underground recap session late night edition. This evening I'm joined again by our faithful leader. Mr' Tony Leonardi, Sir Derek Cornett, and once again ready and all mic'd up is our boy Lord Adam Gonzales. It's Sunday night. It's Mothers day, and as always we had a blast talkin tunes together. Sit back relax and check out the guys checkin out these Independent and Unsigned First Five Countdown contenders.Remember that the goal of these episodes are to offer honest feedback to bands interested in advise. We believe that music reviewing is easy, but offering criticism to great hard working warriors from time to time hard to do. Every one of these bands are true front line soldiers in the war for our earballs. We give you the bands and fans a wide variety of musical opinions. We want to give a shout out to a new friend of the show wewantshows.com. If you are looking for a gig anywhere in the U.S check them out. A band straight from our Soundcloud submission group AngelFlayR brought some instant Viking Metal to the show, and we loved it. While there might have been som production issues. The song writing lyrics and band performance was stellar. The question we have for these battle torn plunderers is. Do you still live with your mothers? After that we gallop on to a pure guitarist and soundcloud shredder Jeff Fiorentino. If Steve Vai and Eddy Van Halen had a baby out of wedlock and left him alone with a guitar and all of their albums. That baby would grow up to kill it 80s style like this . Keep an eye on this talent. Following that attack is the musical journey with Soundblade. Ups downs peaks and valleys. This song was a perfect mixture of a story, and Thor's hammer to your nutsack. Huge alpha males playing millions of years worth of frustration. The epic tone of this track certainly conjured up visions of icy cold water and never ending mountain climbs. Thanks for that group submission as well. Prepare to have sound bent uncomfortably into your earballs with Mamaceciles track. Genius or madman? This band brings it industrial style with just a hint of chaos. Progression of sound matched with a low level intensity that boils over in to brief moments of rage left us all not only weary and ready for more, but also left with a very uncomfortable feelig. As if we we're being watched from under water some where dark and cold. Finally we come to easily our most controversial submission to date. Bazooka Zoo took our minds to a different dimension and didn't do it enough of a heavy metal way. Always expand your horizons I say and so we were happy as fuck to check this track out. With the exception of a cheesy drum fill we agreed that this tune was a stoners dream. Thank you to each and every one of these musical entrepreneurs. As always please support these bands. They are the reason for this project. Also Help us by going to Jarcodes. Thank you for your time. Please come back next week to hear a brand new list of submissions. Our Top Five and the chance for you to vote on our Top Two. Jarcodes productions has been supporting the Independent musician for over a year, and with your help will continue to deliver the best original Metal, Rock, Alternative, and Punk sounds. Your feedback as always is crucial to our success and since we are a submission based podcast, We ask of every band and fan out there to help us in the search for new and raw Unsigned talent. Thank you Happy Mothers day Mom
May First Five Episode 5.0 (The Unsigned Countdown) Written by: Jason Roeseke We're back! I know I know. How lost you must have felt for the last week. I hope that our bonus episode at least maintained you. Believe me I felt just as lost as you, but before depression sets in. Before those thoughts of rage that have building up inside of you explode like a madness in to every vein within you. We are back. We bring to you another great list of Unsigned and Independent R.A.M.P artists, musicians, and bands. These soldiers stand here on the front line. No spotlight, No screaming wet panty wearing fans. No none of that. These brave and worthy warriors are here for glory. These bands are her for honor. Yes these Soldiers are here for us. Leading the charge is no easy task, and kicking off a month like May, kicking off The Unsigned Countdowns first ever Halfway point, and kick starting your ass is what we asked of our first band. @AngelFlayer Joined Our ranks by simply submitting their track Crown of Thorns to our The Unsigned Countdown Submission Portal. Just like so many others have. With a driving beat, slicing guitars, and a voice that sounds like pure gravel this band bleeds your earballs dry. Fantastic song writing is abundant in this group of Metal gods, and once you get hit by this sound, you will have no choice but to join their growing group of fans. Then before you can pick your chin up off of your floor the second wave of Sound smashes into you. @Jeff-Fiorentino comes at us with guitar strings blazing and helps convert some masses with his track Fake Jane Levys. . This one will send you scrambling for your old Van Halen records for sure. While it might only be an instrumental. It's obvious that there is some massive talent coming right at us. @Soundblade brings us back to the days of metal with their thrashing masterpiece Wingless flight, and @Mamacecile cracks the code next, leaving us all shivering like cold wet babies with their track Tell Me Your Fears. While it's been said that this band gives birth to many mischievous creatures, there will be no escaping this one. Let this track wrap it's way around your soul, and bury it's way deep into your brain. Finally just before you pass out from blood loss @Bazooka-Zoo wraps you tightly in it's warm blanket of sound. Wicked ways will put your mind at ease, and the relief should be immediate. Soothing soulful tones will dance around in mid air for you, and you will not be the same once they are done toying with your imagination. Thank you for listening to The Unsigned Countdown. Fog Hole Episode 4.75 ( Underground Recap Session ) Written by: Jason Roeseke The conversation concerning our Unsigned artists begins this week with an Freshman English lesson. Who or what is an Epoch? Thank you Wikipedia for explaining that, In the fields of chronology and periodization an epoch is an instant in time chosen as the origin of a particular era. The "epoch" then serves as a reference point from which time is measured. Time measurement units are counted from the epoch so that the date and time of events can be specified unambiguously. With that being said. thanks as well to Hot Fog not only for the great track, but for forcing us all to learn something new. At last we can fully appreciate your song Epoch of the Tyrant. Afterwards the guys talk about the voting snafu that caused Soundrise to be knock from their rightful place a top our Countdown. The song Western Tourture was a perfectly presented masterpiece, and the band should be proud. A special mention for "The Kids of Widney High" before the reviews move forward to Warmachine and their cover, not a cover, maybe a cover. Betrayed. Their ripping vocals, great production, and heavy sound had two judges drooling, but the many borrowed riffs left us all wanting more originality. Then finally we arrive at our Top Two Independents of the month. Chant brought it with a brand new anthem. An electronica assault named Revolt that was wrapped up in the perfect package. Not to be undone. Mutiny Within came with their multi layered track Become. While the judges had their pick, voting was again left to the fans. Thank you to the fans that voted on our Facebook poll question. A winner was chosen and announced in this very episode. As always please support these bands. They are the reason for this project. Also Help us by going to Jarcodes. Thank you for your time. Please come back next month to hear a brand new list of submissions. Jarcodes productions has been supporting the Independent musician for over a year, and with your help will continue to deliver the best original Metal, Rock, Alternative, and Punk sounds. Earballs Episode 4.50 ( The Unsigned Countdown ) Written by: Jason Roeseke In the battle for our earballs there are many brave, and worthy adversaries. When it comes to the Top Five of The Unsigned Countdown however there can be only one. In the end. When the smoke rises, and the flames have all turned to blackened embers. One independent will have proved themselves invincible. Leaving four in their wake. Will it be @Hot-Fog with the classic Hard rocking Epoch the Tyrant. Good production and a voice that can shred both denim and leather is an asset on this battleground. Maybe @Soundrise-rock will reign supreme, and probably would have had a chance if one judge hadn't made a crucial ranking mistake. The originality, musical prowess, and political lyrics packed into their track Western Torture had at least two other countdown critics screaming number one. Well suited @Warmachine was in the thick of the action and bloodied some earballs for sure with their riff ridden and wickedly produced tune Betrayer. @chantprojections shouted the theme of our cause, and did it to perfection with the industrial anthem Revolt. And it was our first ever countdown two timer, @Mutiny-Within, breaking the barrier prepared and seasoned for carnage as they took no prisoners with the multi layered and awe inspiring song Become. Once you have finished absorbing all your mind can handle we will then ask you to join us at Facebook to cast your vote, and help one of our top two independents to achieve their goal of becoming our #1 band in the month of April. You can also express your voting rights on the episode 4.50 timeline at Soundcloud. As always please support these bands. They are the reason for this project. Also Help us by going to Jarcodes. Thank you for your time. Please come back next week to listen to The Underground Recap Session. Tony, Derek, and Jason will discuss how they feel about our unsigned heros. From @SaludaSTL and the bar fight that was their track shine. @Parkingponies with the guitar driven tune I once knew a hippopotamus, And of course @casualcrewband with one of my personal favorites Breathable underwear. How gel is formed Written by Jason Roeseke Welcome fans, bands, skeptics, supporters, saints, and sinners to The Unsigned Countdown Underground Recap Session. Listen now as Jason Roeseke, Tony Leonardi, and new Judge Derek Cornett Discuss the March First five. A set of Independent tracks guaranteed to rip the bones from your flesh, and the commercialism from your earballs. We began this monster month by spreading our horizons. We captured moments in time from Party Rock & Roll and @Haubits " Just enough to break my heart", Haunting ballads with @PsychoSide "Tears", to Classic Metal and maybe my favorite band of the Countdown @Unchained-Beast and their unrelenting "Gates of Dumbr". From Groovy bar bands like Irelands very own @Crafty-Fuzz and their song "Struggle Struggle", to Arena filling progressive gods like @Shoot-the-Breeze with "Bad Blood and Beef. Now in this episode we discuss those tracks. Explain why we ranked them the way we did, and maybe even go off subject once or twice. With Tony anchoring the show, Jason's amazing production wizardry, and Derek's brilliant incite this one is a must listen. The guys are finally starting to gel, and it's a blast to here. Who loves waffles? Which judge didn't find the classic hits from Damn Yankees so damn wonderful? And which newby looses track of his wandering microphone? Music not only holds with in it every answer, but offers the ability to ask every question. In this battle against the commercialism of our air waves. In the bloody war for our very earballs. It will take all for armies. Each possess the riffs and axes needed to claim victory over the mediocrity, and it will be the strongest Metal, Punk, Rock, and Alternative survivors that, when its all said and done, when the last overproduced, lip synching, generic, performer is laid into obscurity, Will they only then get to tip their chalice toward their brothers. Thank you to @Haubits, @Psychoside @Unchained-Beast @Crafty-Fuzz @Shoot-the-Breeze But until that moment in time arrives. We fight. Here in no specific order are our April honor guard.
