In episode 191 of the Man of Screen podcast, were nearing the end of our coverage of Season 3 of the Salkind-produced Adventures of Superboy with a pair of episodes that explore two of Superboys weaknesses, the supernatural and kryptonite. First and intense woman comes into the Bureau and what is she intense about? A werewolf? Guess what, Jackson thinks its a hoax. Youre surprised by that, arent you? Well, young Christina Riley has a special reason for wanting to find the werewolf and kill it. Shes also taken a liking to Clark. The show is also going to give some free promotion to Universal Studios in Orlando, which opened about a year earlier than this episode. Is Clarks new love interest what she seems? Or is she a “Werewolf”? Next, were going to court where were going to find Metallo on trial. At least for the first part of the episode. Then Metallo takes over and gives us his side of his appearances in this show. We have Superboy on trial in a courtroom drama and Lanas going to play the role of defensive attorney in “The People vs. Metallo”. Liz and Evan are back! After a nice long summer hiatus, Now Screaming’s 50th episode spooktacular has finally arrived! Rather than spinning the roulette as usual, Liz and Evan decided to invite some friends of the podcast into to the studio to revisit some of their favorites from the Now Screaming catalogue. Alex Christie chose THE BABADOOK (2:19), inspiring an enlightening discussion about motherhood and reality vs. allegory, as well as a deep-dive on this year’s horror favorite HEREDITARY. Jessica Dwyer selected Now Screaming discovery MINE GAMES (23:10) to discuss her passion for time travel in film, as well as how essential it is to stick the landing. Hannah Thomas brought old favorite RE-ANIMATOR (39:44) to the table, and the gang got messy in their conversation about splatter gore, that unforgettable score, and the importance of having fun. Katie MacKendrick went way back in the podcast's archives for her selection: THE AMITYVILLE HORROR (54:20), acknowledging that it's really just all about Ryan Reynolds and his abs. There was still time to talk about #realisticmicrofiche, the role of librarians in horror movies, and how popcorn horror can be a gateway into the genre. The Total Tutor Neil Haley will interview  Lindsay Lamb of “Arlo: The Burping Pig”. Lamb will next be seen in the feature film “Arlo: The Burping Pig” as Samantha, a bookworm trying to make friends at her new school. The film, also featuring Drake Bell and Joey Lawrence, will be released by Lionsgate on November 15, 2016. Later this year, Lamb will be seen starring alongside Amy Smart and Burt Reynolds in Sony Entertainment's “Apple Of My Eye” (currently known as “And Then There Was Light”). Lamb plays Jenny, Caroline's (Amy Smart) Braille tutor who provides a source of encouragement and guidance after she rapidly loses her sight from an accident. The film will be released in December 2016. In 2017, Lamb will be seen in Lionsgate's “Blue Line”. Lamb plays Bunny Abbott, a cheerleading captain who is kidnapped and held hostage during a heist. The film, also starring Jordan Ladd and Tom Sizemore, will be released worldwide on March 17, 2017. Her additional film credits include “Emma's Chance”, “Range 15”, “Hide In The Light" and “Mine Games”. Lamb recently starred in a new pilot penned by Meg LeFauve, the acclaimed writer behind “Inside Out” and “The Good Dinosaur”. Additional TV credits include “The Wil Wheaton Project” and “All About Lizzie”. Lamb grew up in the world of professional theater. She previously lived and performed in Florida, Boston and New York City before moving to Los Angeles, where she currently resides. Lamb is a graduate of the University of Southern California. In her spare time, she enjoys yoga, hiking, paddle boarding with her two rescue dogs, Scotch and Jovi.
