Power Quotes From The Show "Fitness and nutrition are both very important, but there are so many different aspects to our lives such as our relationships, home life, or work. So, if those things not going well and we're not happy, then everything else will suffer." - Ali Reti "I believe that our intuition will always guide us to exactly where we need to be." - Ali Reti "I cope with anxious thoughts about the unknown by telling myself that if it's not this, then it's something better. I trust that if this is not what I'm supposed to be doing, then I can't even fathom how amazing my life will be with my next decision." - Ali Reti "As humans, we're meant to collaborate and go through experiences together. Whatever you're experiencing right now, you're not actually meant to go through it alone. Know that and be brave by reaching out to someone for help." - Ali Reti "When you put 'good' out into the world, that comes back to you. When you give to others, you have no idea how that will come back, but it will certainly impact your life." - Ali Reti Links From Today's Show: Ali Reti Facebook Instagram Twitter YouTube LinkedIn The Ali Reti Podcast: Activate A Life You Love Episode 76 - Coping with the Unknown The Law of Attraction Wellbridge Brené Brown On Air With Ella Les Brown - The Chinese Bamboo Tree (Lesson on Patience) Tony Robbins Finding Joe Past Life Regression EPIC Bar RXBAR WFR #129 - Gretchen Rubin WFR #127 - Ella Lucas-Averett WFR #055 - Gay and Katie Hendricks About Ali Reti A recovering perfectionist, Ali Reti is intimately familiar with how losing sight of the forest for the trees can cause crippling stress and anxiety on a regular basis. I'm back with the 21st episode of the Progress over Perfection Podcast. In today's episode, I'm talking about my top 5 tips for navigating the holiday's and parties. This use to be a really anxiety provoking time of year for me. I was constantly nervous about going to parties and celebrating holiday's because I always felt pressure to eat certain things. My relationship with food and exercise wasn't the best, and it definitely hindered me from enjoying the season for what it is. I can confidently say that after many, many years of navigating the holiday's, I very much look forward to them now. So today, I want to help you ease into the holiday's with joy rather than fear. I want this season to be filled with memories of loved ones, adventures, and not how much you "felt" like you over ate and under exercised. I've got you covered, you're never alone. Show Notes: 1. Prioritize your healthy foods and fitness 2. Navigating the actual day of the holiday, parties and social gatherings 3. What to do with your fitness and food the few days after the holidays, parties, etc 4. Addressing family members, friends and co-workers who may push food on you 5. Last but not least, remembering what this season is all about Connect with me: website: www.retifit.com instagram: https://www.instagram.com/retifit/ facebook: https://www.facebook.com/RetiFit/ youtube: https://youtu.be/p19ceWPbO3w
