Research released today by Irish Life Health reveals that one-third of women are fearful of negative career repercussions if they disclose female health-related issues at work. The research reveals that almost one-third of women (29%) take sick leave to cope with female health issues, with almost 1 in 5 choosing to take annual leave for this reason. Young women, aged 16 - 34, are much more negatively impacted, with almost half taking sick leave (43%) and one-third (31%) taking unpaid leave to manage female health concerns. Workplace support is a key priority for women, with close to half of women surveyed (44%) stating they would consider moving to a new organisation if it offered better female health supports. However, the research reveals that just 1 in 3 employers (34%) have dedicated policies in place to address female health needs, and fewer than half (41%) of women feel that they get sufficient support from their employers. Many women report female health issues at different stages of life, such as menstrual health challenges, fertility difficulties and perimenopause or menopause issues. These female health issues directly affect some women's ability to work, with 46% citing difficulties related to menstrual health, 38% reporting challenges due to fertility issues, and one-third acknowledging that symptoms associated with perimenopause or menopause impact their work performance. Speaking about these findings, Ann Marie Nestor, Managing Director, Irish Life Health, said: "At Irish Life Health, we are committed to supporting women throughout their health journey, whether at home or at work. The findings on women's health in the workplace are concerning - despite making up half of the adult population, many women still feel uncomfortable discussing their health concerns at work, often fearing a negative impact on their careers. The evidence is clear, supporting women with their health needs is essential. "As we continue to enhance our benefits, addressing the unique health challenges faced by women remains a priority. Irish Life Health is proud to be the first and only health insurer to offer customers direct access to a range of specialist female health services, including a network of GPs who specialise in female health, a new at home female fertility assessment from Hertility, and full cover for an initial consult with a female pelvic health physio. "We are also delighted that Irish Life Health will be at this year's WellFest event, sponsoring the 'WellFem' tent where people can find out more about female health supports and chat with the team of experts about their specific health concerns." Commenting on the findings, Dr. Máire Finn, GP specialising in female health, states: "The findings from this research clearly highlight the issues women face when it comes to female health. I welcome the opportunity to meet with women at the 'WellFem' tent at WellFest to discuss all areas of female health and hopefully break down some of the taboos, unfortunately still associated with female health issues. I would encourage anyone who is interested in learning more about female health or looking for advice to pop down and speak to one of the many experts who are on site all weekend." The Irish Life Health WellFem tent is a brand-new addition to this year's WellFest, dedicated to women's health and offering expert advice, insightful panel discussions, and opportunities to speak with leading female health experts throughout the weekend. Panel discussions will take place across the weekend with Deirdre O'Neill, Hertility, Aoife Harvey, women's health physio, Dr Márie Finn, GP specialising in female health, and the founders of Herology, Dr. Michelle Hone and Dr. Sarah Kelly. In this episode, I sit down with Jennifer Faustino. Our story goes back to 2018, when she first came to train with me at my very first studio. It was a Saturday morning, and she showed up in full glam- full makeup, ready to go. Later, she admitted she had been following me on Instagram for years, and meeting me felt like meeting a celebrity, which still makes me laugh. We trained for few years but then 2020 came. Jen threw herself into work, putting herself last. She gained a massive amount of weight, struggled with severe back pain, exhaustion, and ended up needing back surgery. At one point, she could barely walk.At her lowest, she realized she had no choice but to change. She started working with her doctor, cleaned up her nutrition, lost weight, and on her doctor's advice- came back to lifting with me and BBM.Now, she trains live three to four times a week and, more importantly, has made herself a true priority for the first time in her life.We also talk about her volunteer work at a home for the terminally ill and how that experience gives her daily perspective on what really matters. One of the most emotional parts of this conversation is when Jen talks about the role I played in her comeback and how having the right support and community can pull out the best in you when you feel like you have nothing left. This episode is about taking ownership of your life, no matter how far off track you've gone, and proving to yourself that it's never too late.Jen also shares a powerful message for anyone who doubts themselves: if you think you can't do it- you absolutely can.If you'd like to talk about how I can help you, book a free consultation here: https://monikaamazur.as.me/CoffeeandGoals

In this jaw-dropping episode of Warriors Unmasked, Chuck Thuss sits down with internationally known wellness physician Dr. Michael Platt, author of Adrenaline Dominance. What starts as a conversation about adrenaline quickly becomes a transformative discussion that challenges everything we've been told about modern medicine, mental health, and the real causes behind conditions like ADHD, anxiety, depression, insomnia, and even weight gain. Dr. Platt explains how adrenaline dominance is an often-ignored root cause behind many chronic health and emotional issues—and how simple, natural approaches like bioidentical progesterone cream, coconut oil, and late-night vegetables can dramatically shift a person's physical and emotional well-being in as little as 24 hours. From PTSD in veterans and athletes to panic attacks, migraines, and road rage, Dr. Platt makes the case that the medical industry is often more interested in symptom management than root-cause healing—and he backs it up with real-life stories and decades of patient experience. This episode is a game-changer for anyone facing emotional stress, mental health struggles, or hormone imbalance—and offers hope through natural solutions that work. ✅ 6 Key Takeaways from This Episode: Adrenaline dominance is behind more conditions than you think — including anxiety, ADHD, depression, and migraines. The body uses adrenaline to compensate for low brain fuel — especially when blood sugar is low during the night. Mental health conditions like anxiety and PTSD can improve dramatically by giving the brain proper fuel and blocking excess adrenaline. Natural progesterone cream (5%, 50mg) is a powerful, over-the-counter way to block adrenaline, insulin, and estrogen safely. Symptoms like road rage, restlessness, insomnia, and nausea can often be relieved within 24 hours of addressing adrenaline dominance. Healing is possible when you treat the root cause—not just the symptoms—and it doesn't have to involve pharmaceuticals. In this week's MBA Admissions podcast we began by discussing the Round 2 activity on LiveWire; Harvard, Northwestern / Kellogg, Chicago / Booth, Berkeley / Haas, Washington / Foster, UCLA / Anderson, Texas / McCombs and London Business School were among the top MBA programs releasing decisions last week. For this upcoming week, Stanford, UPenn / Wharton, MIT / Sloan and Cornell / Johnson are scheduled to release their final decisions. Graham highlighted the Spring Survey that Clear Admit conducts each season. These surveys are important to understand the decisions of each applicant-cohort. Here is the link for this season's survey: https://bit.ly/casurvey25 Graham noted Clear Admit's Application Overview series of events scheduled for May. These online events will be hosted on May 6 and 7, and May 20 and 21. Signups are here: https://bit.ly/appoverview25 Sandwiched in the middle of these events is Clear Admit's MBA admissions fair in Boston, on May 14th. Twenty-four of the top 25 U.S.-based MBA programs are planning to attend. Signups for this event are here: https://bit.ly/mbafair2025 Graham noted a Clear Admit article that shines the spotlight on ESADE and their work to become carbon neutral. He then highlighted the first in a series of Clear Admit career trends articles, focused on Class of 2024 consulting placements at leading MBA programs. As we have reported over several episodes this season, consulting placements are generally down across the top MBA programs. However, consulting remains a critical industry for top MBA graduates - with most schools sending a third of their class into the domain. Graham then noted a Fridays-from-the-Frontlines feature that focuses on MBA students from London Business School who traveled to Singapore and explored sustainability efforts. Graham highlighted four Real Humans alumni spotlights, alums from Duke / Fuqua working at McKinsey, Indiana / Kelley working at Microsoft, Michigan / Ross working at JP Morgan and Columbia working at Netflix. For this week, for the candidate profile review portion of the show, Alex selected two ApplyWire entries and one DecisionWire entry: This week's first MBA admissions candidate is from the UK and now lives in the US. They have a 675 GMAT score, and a 3.1 GPA undergraduate degree, followed by a 3.8 GPA master's degree in finance. Their focus is on real estate. This week's second MBA candidate is an electrical engineer who also has a master's degree. They work in the semiconductor industry as a product manager; they also have a 675 GMAT score. The final MBA candidate is deciding between Dartmouth / Tuck, Duke / Fuqua (with a $40,000 scholarship), and Georgetown / McDonough. They are seeking a consulting career. This episode was recorded in Paris, France and Cornwall, England. It was produced and engineered by the fabulous Dennis Crowley in Philadelphia, USA. The Prayer of Freedom: God's breakthrough approach to prayer that frees you from many forms of chronic pain, chronic health issues, anxiety, ... addictions and other life challenges by Beatty Carmichael Amazon.com Getradicalfaith.org Discover the Prayer of Freedom: A breakthrough approach to healing and restoration *** Watch our video overview at http://Overview.TPOFBook.com (copy/paste link to your browser)*** What if the solution to struggles in your life – be it addictions, chronic pain, anxiety, relationship conflicts, or more -- were within reach? In The Prayer of Freedom, you'll uncover a groundbreaking approach to prayer that unlocks God's power to heal, restore, and transform lives. Through real-life stories, compelling insights, and practical “hot-to” guidance, this book reveals how you can experience freedom from persistent life challenges. Take Rob and Lilly, for example. After ten years of constant fighting and five years of marriage counseling with no change, they felt hopeless. Then, they applied the Prayer of Freedom. Within 24 hours, their relationship was transformed—arguments ceased and peace filled their home for the first time in years. Today, they enjoy a peaceful, calm and joyful marriage, something they once thought impossible. But what is the secret behind this transformation? The Prayer of Freedom is rooted in spiritual laws found in the Bible—timeless principles that govern how God answers prayers. Author Beatty Carmichael shares his discovery of these laws and how applying them can bring miraculous results. Unlike conventional approaches to prayer, this method focuses on aligning with God's will and addressing the spiritual roots of the problems we face. Imagine seeing long-standing issues—chronic pain, broken relationships, addiction, depression—vanish almost instantly. That's what happened to Whitney, who had suffered from chronic pain for years. After praying using this approach, within one day her pain was gone, all the tension in her body disappeared, and a sense of peace and relaxation replaced years of discomfort. The book doesn't just stop at individual stories. Carmichael provides evidence from his work with students in an addiction recovery center. Of those who completed the Prayer of Freedom, nearly 90% experienced total and complete freedom from their problems, including chronic pain, bipolar disorder, arthritis, depression, anxiety, addictions and more. Even for those who didn't achieve complete freedom, the intensity of their issues dropped significantly. So, what makes this approach to prayer so powerful? Carmichael explains that it's not about magical formulas or special gifts. Instead, it's about understanding and applying spiritual laws that govern prayer. These laws, revealed in the Bible, show how repentance and righteousness open the door to answered prayer by God. The process is simple yet profound... and above all, proven effective! This book isn't about theory—it's a practical, “how-to” guide filled with step-by-step instructions and practical life applications. Whether you're dealing with personal struggles or helping a loved one find freedom, The Prayer of Freedom teaches you the process to see real and lasting change. If you're ready to experience the life-changing power of answered prayer, this book will show you how to turn spiritual laws into spiritual breakthroughs. If you are ready to unlock the freedom you've been searching for, then get The Prayer of Freedom today!

Today, I am joined by my friend and fellow Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner Alison Jordan, founder of Better Belly Therapies. Alison and I both graduated from FDN around five or six years ago, and she has since helped over 600 clients address the root causes of gut and health issues through her unique Gut Healer System. In our conversation, we dive into the intricacies of failed health protocols and explore the four major failure points that hinder clients from achieving their wellness goals: practitioner error, missing labs, bad labs, and poorly analyzed labs. Throughout the episode, Alison and I share our experiences with clients who have spent potentially thousands of dollars without success. We discuss the nuances of protocols, the importance of accurately diagnosing with the right tests, and how to ask the right questions when seeking help from practitioners. We also touch on why relying on just one or two tests isn't enough and the pitfalls of incorrectly analyzed lab data. Alison emphasizes the need for continuous learning to provide the best outcomes for clients and highlights some of her favorite diagnostic tests, including the DUTCH test, GI map, and organic acids test. For anyone out there who has tried multiple protocols and still isn't feeling better, this episode is packed with information and advice to help you navigate your health journey more effectively. Don't forget to check out the workshop Alison created called the Five Toxin Trap, which is a fantastic resource to further understand the factors impairing your recovery!
