Rueben Wood was born on September 26, 1991, in Brunswick. At the age of seven years old, Rueben Wood took an interest in music. When he was ten years old, Wood began doing ciphers with his schoolmates. Moving to Northern Georgia, Rueben then developed a desire to get into the culinary field. After graduating from high school, he went on to attend the Art Institute of Atlanta to study culinary and obtained his cooking education. In 2007, Rueben Wood began his stint in the entertainment industry by starting off as an artist by the name of Yung Bank. The genre of his music consisted of Hip Hop, Pop, and R&B. Upon releasing his mixtape Look At The World The Way I Do, it boosted his notoriety in his community as well as in other places as his music made it to online radio stations.
