Sadly for Jeff Clark fans, this week he is away enjoying turkey and giving thanks with his family, and so left in charge of the studio microphone, Ian Truscott shares a thought about giving thanks and asks if people are meeting the real you through your content.Ian then chats with another Jeff, Jeff Coyle, co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer at MarketMuse, for a fascinating conversation about content, AI, and technology. Jeff Coyle is a data-driven search engine marketing executive with more than 20 years of experience in the search industry managing products and website networks. At MarketMuse, he is focused on helping content marketers, search engine marketers, agencies, and e-commerce managers build topical authority, improve content quality and turn semantic research into actionable insights. Before joining MarketMuse, Jeff owned and operated his own inbound marketing consultancy and managed the Traffic, Search, and Engagement team for TechTarget, a B2B technology publishing and lead generation leader. Finally, our tradition, holiday or not, is to wind down from the week in the Rockstar CMO virtual bar. This week we find Robert Rose quoting Ellen Glasgow and suggesting we take a look at what we are doing, however successful our marketing is as "The only difference between a rut and a grave are the dimensions".Enjoy! The peopleIan Truscott on LinkedIn and Twitter Jeff Coyle on LinkedIn and TwitterRobert Rose on Twitter and LinkedInMentioned in this week's episode:MarketMuseRockstar CMO:Rockstar CMO on the web, Twitter, and LinkedInPrevious episodes and all show notes: Rockstar CMO FMRockstar CMO AdvisorsMusic: Piano Music is by Johnny Easton, shared under a creative commons license"Smile Like You Mean It" by The Killers on SpotifySubscribe:We are available on all your favorite platforms including Apple, Google, Spotify and Amazon.

Matt & Matt close out Season 3 with another "Listener's Choice" epipod. Finest Workfans voted for The Killers' debut album "Hot Fuss" to be the album du jour. Though they may have been caught up in the mix of other similar-sounding bands like the Strokes, Franz Ferdinand and Interpol, The Killers have managed to put together a long and inspired career. And this is the one that started it all. And what a strong (if front-loaded) debut it is! Brandon Flowers & Co. deliver pure pop goodness on hits like "Mr. Brightside," "Somebody Told Me," "Smile Like You Mean It" and the anthemic "All These Things That I've Done." Not a bad way to start a career.
Meet Amy Reichard from Hey Grrrl Collective curator of the local art show "Smile Like You Mean It" taking place at Super Mix Mercantile at Vail Headquarters. Artist showcase runs from November 4-23, 2020, with an opening reception on November 6th from 6-9pm. Listen to some beats from local music artist Odd Saints.
On this episode of the Vinyl Divers Podcast, Anthony goes over one of his favorite songs to sing for KARAOKE, Mr. Brightside, along with the b-side to the single, Smile Like You Mean It. We are gathered here today to determine a winner from the selection of 4 songs off Hot Fuss that received their own music video. The rules are simple, no one cares about anything and you always speak the first thing that comes to your mind. Between Mr. Brightside, Somebody Told Me, Smile Like You Mean It, and All These Things That I Have Done, which has the better music video (or did they all suck), which had the better message, and which will ultimately stand the test of time? A happy and familiar face returns to the city in our Gotham Season 3 Episode 13 Review for "Smile Like You Mean It" as we discuss our Top Five moments of this Episode. Synopsis for Gotham Season 3 Episode 13 Review Smile Like You Mean It Podcast Directed by: Olatunde Osunsanmi Written by: Steven Lilien and Bryan Wynbrandt When the reanimation of Jerome Valeska (Cameron Monaghan) fails, his follower Dwight Pollard (David Dastmalchian), impatient for change, cuts off Jerome's face and wears it as a mask to lead the Jerome cult to take over the Gotham news station and begin their awakening of chaos and destruction across Gotham. Meanwhile, Edward Nygma (Cory Michael Smith), Barbara, and Tabitha continue their manipulation of Oswald Cobblepot (Robin Lord Taylor); just as Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz), Selina Kyle (Camren Bicondova) and Alfred Pennyworth (Sean Pertwee) also realise that they have been deceived and conned by Selina’s Mum, Maria (Ivana Milicevic), which leads to a distraught Selina confronting her mother and Bruce as she learns that he suspected this but didn't tell her to protect Selina from the painful truth. However, Jerome, now at the GCPD after his body was found, awakens belatedly at the Precinct and plans his next move in front of his audience of one - Leslie Tompkins (Morena Baccarin). As the police manage to stop the cult and arrest Dwight, Jerome comes looking for his face and abducts Dwight. After reattaching his face, Jerome ignites explosives that kill Dwight and knock out Gotham's power, causing a citywide blackout. In which we put a phrase in a mausoleum. And there’s a good chance that Brandon doesn’t know what a mausoleum actually is. This week, Series 10 continues with the second episode “Smile”, and for the most part Brandon and Danica stay on topic. But then there’s the potential of Torchwood porn and alternative meanings for the BBC. And also Danica is horribly insensitive about British history, but to be fair, the British are history’s villain. Except when there are Nazis or sometimes the French.
