Today's episode is our WonderCon 2020 Episode! My guests for this episode are Kerry Dixon, Editor and Chief of the SDCC Unofficial Blog, and returning guest Todd Masters of Toddland! As many of you may know, WonderCon 2020 was supposed to be this weekend down in Anaheim, but due to the current lockdowns from COVID-19, the event has been postponed. Kerry and her team at the blog immediately jumped into action and compiled a list of all of the artists and vendors from WonderCon and how you can still shop and support them. With so many of these conventions being cancelled, this is the primary means of income for these artists and vendors and we wanted to help spread the word of how you can still support them. I talked with Kerry about how she and her team have built WonderCon Online for this weekend and what's to come. Toddland's Bob's Burgers Exclusives are always one of the hottest con exclusives that sell out immediately. For the first time ever, Toddland has opened these up to everybody to be able to enjoy their rad items. All new Bob's tees, totes, pins, stickers, and more! Please go and support my friends at Toddland and help make this WonderCon incredible for them. I've already made my purchases, so hurry over and make yours. I talked with Todd about what they've made for WonderCon and some of their favorite items this year. Please get out and support all of the great WonderCon artists and vendors this weekend with WonderCon Online! A huge Thanks to Todd and Kerry for taking the time to come on the show for this special WonderCon episode. Shop and follow on all of the links on our website! Stay Safe and Healthy out there! On today's episode we are coming to you LIVE from San Diego Comic-Con 2019! This is our fifth year returning to SDCC to do a live show, and this years show did not disappoint! A few days leading up to Comic-Con, I actually didn't know if this panel/show was even going to happen. Guests continued to fall through, and a few days before the convention my co-host also dropped out. Luckily though with moments notice, Todd Masters and Stacie Carver from Toddland quickly jumped on as guests. I knew my friend James Simenc would also be in town taping with Conan, and he joined the show last minute as my co-host. With our largest crowd to date, we had possibly my favorite shows we've done here. On the episode I talked with James about prepping for the Conan Comic-Con sketches and some of his moments with Conan, as well as a little bit of our Nerdmelt history for the audience. We also talked with Todd and Stacie about their creative process for their Comic-Con exclusives for Bob's Burgers, Family Guy, and American Dad, as well as what it was like to grow up with Todd and so much more. I can't begin to thank James, Todd, and Stacie enough for being so willing to join me last minute. I had such an incredible time with them and it made this year's SDCC absolutely incredible for me. As I mention in the intro, I apologize for the audio issues on the episode. Some mics are louder then others. While I tried to do my best to balance them in editing, the damage was done to some sections. Our mic check before the show was good, so I don't know why we had an issue. The joys of recording live shows! Thank you again to San Diego Comic-Con for having us back for our fifth year. Here's to the next 5! Thanks, James, Todd, and Stacie! Enjoy the episode.
On today's episode, Austin and I took the show down to Newport Beach to sit down with Todd Masters, the brains behind Toddland! Toddland has become one of the hottest companies at San Diego Comic-Con with their exclusives for Bob's Burgers, Family Guy, and brand new for this year, American Dad. Their exclusives sell out incredibly fast and they're our favorite items to order. Most of my SDCC spending is usually at Toddland. We talked to Todd about this years exclusives, the joys of being a fan at SDCC, making rad stuff for fun people, a crazy fan almost punching Todd, our personal collections, how pre-order pickups may work, and so much more. A huge thanks to Todd for allowing us to come down to the Toddland offices in the middle of their SDCC mayhem to talk with him. Make sure you get your pre-orders in and don't forget, you MUST be at SDCC to pick up your items. Thanks, Todd! See you in San Diego!

Welcome to Beserker Cast! If you've landed on this page, we assume you are a fan of the TNT show Falling Skies, or perhaps curious as to what exactly this new podcast is that Golden Spiral Media is producing. For the first time in GSM's existence, a podcast will jump into a show after its pilot episode. There is a really good reason for this. Honestly. Last summer, Darrell and Emilee co-hosted the TV Talk show for Falling Skies, but as the podcast network chose not to pick up the show in its fourth season, the hosts needed an outlet to carry on the work they had begun. It seemed like a no-brainer that they should continue, and luckily Darrell's ownership of GSM gave them full reign to do whatever they want! In all seriousness, the two hosts are enthusiastic about the show and are eager to be part of the discussion. In episode 00, Darrell and Emilee introduce themselves, give a brief rundown of the premise of Falling Skies, share a lot of thoughts over what makes this show interesting to them and cap it all off with some of what they are looking forward to in season four. This is a podcast introduction episode of the Beserker Cast, but the hosts are excited to share that on June 17, one week before the season four premiere, they will be interviewing Todd Masters of MastersFX as well as recapping season three. Stay tuned for meaty material headed your way! Read More...
